“If you are looking for that neighborhood market where everyone knows your name, then this is the place for you!
Staff here are not only friendly, but they're approachable, and knowledgeable of their products.
If you don't see something that that you are looking for on the shelf, they'll go the extra mile and check their stock in the back of the store, and even look it up in their system to tell you the status of the product, and when it might be available in the store.
If you have a return, they don't try to shame you!
When you reach the register they are warm and efficent.
Everyone genuinely seem like they enjoy working there which really adds to the welcoming atmosphere.

“I personally love this TJs but selection is admittedly a bit more limted than other stores. Maybe with the planned move into the old Rite Aid building they will expand?? Still love shopping there bc everyone is so nice and it’s super efficient to get in and out.”
“Bob's Market is not huge and it is not some giant chain. There are more than one but not many. This one is the best.
Parking is free and easy. It is in a great location. The place is always spotless and well stocked. They have everything you need.
We love the service. They are fast and ever so nice. They will help you find what you need and if you are disabled they will help you with your bags to the car.
We love their selection of bread. They also have wonderful seafood and good meats.
They have a great selection of wine and beer. Their produce is always fresh.
Their prices are fair and they have a vegetarian and vegan section. They also have a few things you might not find elsewhere.
They have a great deli and I love getting a sandwich there.

“1/26 - bought veggie sandwich and as you can see most avocado and veggies in the middle nothing on edge. Who wants only a bite of avocado and veggies only in the middle of a sandwich 😞 🥪. They cut it in the middle and display it gave up where it was cut so it appears as though the sandwich is full. I've seen other places do this too. Misleading...

“One of the best wine shop in los Angeles with an amazing curated selection from California and every major wine producing country such as France, Italy, Spain, Australia, Argentina and Chile and very competitive prices sometimes even less than the big stores and supermarkets! An inexpensive $15 bottle to $50, $100 and beyond. The staffs are very knowledgeable and on top of their work to help you find a perfect bottle or 2 or 6 with discounts for yourself or for gifting. I am impressed!! Go and find out for yourself why they are called the King of Wines/Champagne in Santa Monica. I didn’t know that it is also one of the oldest shop in town over 90 years old.”
“After falling down and bloodying my knee on the sidewalk pretty badly I hobbled down here to look for a bandaid and was met with the warmest and kindest service. Nadia helped me clean up my knee and helped me get exactly what I needed. The store has a great selection as well so now I am loaded up for a night with snacks and my favorite sodas to rest while my leg heals. A wonderful shop, wonderful service, and wonderful vibe.”

Noticed several recent posts on security guard. I frequent the store a couple times a week & have yet to see one but would welcome the addition. Have seen too many incidents of poor managerial oversight, from young staff kids hanging in the dining area as childcare to freeloaders filling up at the hot/salad bars without paying to intrusive outside individuals asking for donations.
It’s a great store, great neighborhood location & nice staff. Security may just need some training on surveilling. I use self checkout as a rule & there’s always a staffer watching for potential theft. I get it & am not offended.

In general there’s everything to love about this store, it is immaculate, more than enough selection & great neighborhood store & I’ll do anything to avoid Whole Foods (Amazon owned) these days. Self checkout is awesome, the lines for cashiers are too long (they’re usually chatting with other staff anyway) so thanks for the quick checkout option.”

“I love this gas station! It’s down the street from my house, so I come here all the time. All the people who work there are nice, and the place is always clean! ??”
“Great neighborhood and great customer service! The store is a bit on the smaller scale and difficult to maneuver in the aisles. The two bathrooms for the public arm the loading dock for the store. It gets chaotic back there. Additionally people tend to sit in the parking lot right next to the tables and chairs where people eat. The co-op in Santa Monica has signs in their parking lot cars cannot sit idle in their parking lot so that their customers don't have to have to inhale the fumes! I hope whole foods in Montana will post similar signs here. Whole foods claims to be environmentally friendly in the products that they sell I hope that they will apply that to their parking lot as well so that their customers don't have to sit here and eat food and inhale all the fumes from the cars that sit idle in their parking lot.”

After riding our eBikes to the Santa Monica Pier on Saturday morning we stopped at this shop on the way back to our hotel to buy a swag of lotto tickets. “This is a great store to bring your animals to. They allow dogs, cats, any animal you want to bring is welcome. This helps keep the store sanitary. Sometimes dog owners carry their dogs while hovering over fruit and vegetables. In addition to being a great store, it could also mirror as a petting zoo.”
