Carl had a great manner with her and it was easy to coordinate timing as Carl gave us an approximate time she would be ready- and then a 20 minute heads up on her exact timing. I drive from Tahoe city to the Truckee Mountain Peak so this coordination really helps me. I prefer to use credit card but their credit card system was down so I had to pay using Venmo (they had some other e-pay options available) but this was just a slight inconvenience. Overall, a very good experience and I will groom my dog here again.

10939a Industrial Way #101, TruckeeThese folks have been so incredibly good to my 16 year old pup, Suki, and I - in particular, Caroline & Dr. Kang - every time we have an issue, they contact us right away to discuss options, are there to provide our Rx immediately, etc. Thanks to them, our pup is able to rest comfortably, without anxiety. We are so very lucky to have them in our community!

9701 CA-267, TruckeeDr vannini is awesome. She and the whole crew are amazing. I took my boxer, Sid, there with snot pouring out of my nose and sobbing uncontrollably. They helped me through the worst day of my life. Super professional and understanding. They wrote me a hand written letter I received later with their condolences. Prior to that they were always extremely accommodating and helpful. None of the: “well you have to bring him in and spend $300 so I can tell you he is ok and refill a prescription” BS like other vets in the area. They actually care.

10061 S River St, TruckeeWe visited a few years ago, in 2018 and bought several bottles of Red Barn Red. Tonight 2/15/2025, I opened our last bottle. It held its color and flavor. We are really enjoying this lovely wine. I think it's time to visit Truckee, again. Cheers!

I spotted a church building with a small sign that said, cafe open, as I was making my way out of town with haste. Alas, I found exactly what I needed. Score, big time. It is a beautiful, tranquil space, and the sandwich I had, Ban mi (add turkey)...beyond exquisite. The lavender drink concoction was eloquent and refreshing. Go here for a zen delicious af meal and very nice service.

10164 Donner Pass Rd #1, TruckeeI came here with girlfriends for a friends birthday lunch. To start, we got the cheese and charcuterie board with flatbread. For $33, it seemed rather sparse- a huge board with not a ton on it. We each got drinks- the margaritas were enjoyable, and I got a glass of wine. For entrees, we split a pizza, another got Mac and cheese and I got the kale salad. I should've read the salad description better because the dressing was really spicy! I didn't recall reading about anything spicy but later saw that it said a shisito vinaigrette. The dressing ruined it in my opinion, if I ordered again, I'd ask for a different dressing. Service was average. We sat outside and the ambiance was lovely- people watching and also enjoying talking with each other
