“Exceptional customer service. I ship every day and have use many different post office locations in the past. I have to say that this Tustin, CA location is by far the best I have used. Always friendly, always helpful, always professional.”

“Carolyn at the passport office was VERY helpful and kind. She made sure we knew what we paying for and explained everything very well.

She also caught an error, on a sealed state document, that we hadn't noticed before. Now, we can sort that out and be sure to have the important documents that are needed and copies for safekeeping.

Carolyn answered all of my questions and made the process quick and easy for me, which was really nice. Also, she's a great photographer!

There are two downsides that are related to the physical Postal Buidling itself:
1. The ceiling of the passport office is made of skylights, and this makes it EXTREMELY BRIGHT while youre in the office. I have very painful eye and skin problems when I'm in brightly lit areas, and this passport office made those way worse. There isn't a proper ceiling. The only light in the office is the light that enters the room via the skylights.
It is way too bright to serve those with migraines or vision problems.

2. Due to the skylight/ceiling bringing the light in, it also brought the heat in. It was warm and very sunny today, so it was BOILING inside that room. I pass out when it's too hot, and the heat in that room (due to the skylights) could also be very detrimental to other disabled/visually impaired people.

I'm letting you (USPS -Sunflower) know so you can take initiate to ask to be to fix these problems. That way, more people from all walks of life can use your passport facilities without bodily harm.”

“I was very impressed by my visit to this USPS branch. I was able o resolve quickly an important task due to the professionalism and friendliness of the employee - Mrs. Yanira. She is customer oriented, very efficient, and has a problem solving approach. USPS is very lucky to have such an employee!”

“Recently went to GG post office to renew my passport, made an appointment 1 week prior, Nannete the office postmaster was very helpful in processing my docs in a timely manner. It got really busy only because people don't fill out their applications correctly and that delays other people's appointment. Nannete tries to help people in the office as much as possible and answers questions. She's awsome!
I reccomend people make an appointment and fill out their docs before the appointment.”

“I recently visited this USPS office to drop off a package for shipment, and while the overall experience was efficient, I encountered an issue with the package drop-off.Upon entering the USPS office, I was pleased to see that there was not a long line or significant wait time. The service seemed to be well-managed, and the staff appeared attentive and ready to assist customers. This was definitely a positive aspect of my visit, as I was able to save time and complete my transaction quickly.However, when I attempted to use the package drop-off, I encountered a problem. The drop-off slot was jammed, preventing me from properly depositing my package. I tried a couple of times, but unfortunately, it remained stuck. It was disappointing to encounter this issue, as the convenience of a functioning drop-off is one of the main reasons I choose USPS for shipping my packages.Despite the jammed drop-off, the staff promptly noticed my struggle and came to my assistance. They were courteous and did their best to resolve the issue promptly. While I appreciated their efforts, it was still a minor inconvenience that could have been avoided if the drop-off had been properly maintained.I understand that occasional technical difficulties can occur, but it is essential for USPS to ensure that all equipment, including package drop-offs, are regularly checked and maintained to provide a seamless customer experience.Overall, while the lack of long lines and wait times was a positive aspect, the jammed package drop-off was a significant inconvenience. I hope USPS takes note of such issues and implements measures to prevent them in the future. Despite this setback, I appreciate the efforts of the staff in addressing the problem promptly.”

For example, when I ship international packages, they’ll double-check the size and weight to see if there’s a more affordable shipping option, and they even recommend the most suitable packaging materials — incredibly thoughtful.

Even during busy hours, the lines move quickly. The team handles the crowd in an organized and respectful way, so you never feel rushed or ignored.

One thing that impressed me the most was how professionally they handle issues. Once, my package had a tracking delay. The clerk took the time to investigate, file a report, and reassured me that everything would be fine — and sure enough, the package arrived safely just a few days later.

“Post office is 10/10. Shoutout to a gentleman named Mike B. I had a package that was taking its sweet time from NJ to get there. I was worried the package had been lost. After talking to Mike, he was understanding, and gathered my information. We had spoken a few times and he was accurate, and did his due diligence to assist in tracking my package. “This is my go to post office because I live like 3 blocks away. Unless you have a stick up your boots, this place isn't bad. Just do what you need to do and get out. Since I come here often, I figured out that they often don't open the parking lot in the mornings until like 10 or a little later because the mailmen are packing their cars. So i compromise and park at either the KFC or the supermarket's parking lot. Other than that I can always find a spot in the post office's parking lot. Also, probably because of all the complaint, the customer service seems to have gotten better over the years.”

I arrived at the post office just about five minutes before their closing time, with a particularly complex request. I needed to first use the self-service kiosk to prepare a prepaid Priority Mail envelope (which required purchasing postage and printing a label) and then go to the counter to mail my passport renewal documents to the Chinese Consulate.

When I first approached the self-service kiosk, I was completely unfamiliar with how to operate it. Josh noticed I was struggling, and despite the fact that it was already the end of the day, he came over voluntarily and patiently walked me through each step of the process. He explained everything clearly, ensured that my prepaid envelope was set up correctly with the right postage and tracking number, and then assisted me at the counter to prepare and send my package.

What truly impressed me was his extraordinary patience and professionalism. Even though by the time we completed the entire process it was more than 30 minutes past his scheduled closing time, Josh showed absolutely no sign of impatience. He maintained a calm, friendly, and professional demeanor throughout, making sure that everything was done correctly and that I felt comfortable with the process.

This level of customer service is rare and deeply appreciated. Josh not only demonstrated technical expertise but also genuine care for customers, going above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. I am sincerely grateful for his help and hope that USPS will recognize his exceptional dedication and professionalism.
