Pet Facilities in Berthoud
Pet Grooming
Barcar Acres Pet Resort
1234 34.75, BerthoudIt's been many years since I've had my dog, but when I did, Mija went to Barcar Acres. Almost on a weekly basis. Best care and attention in all the land!! I was always confident in knowing she was in good hands with the wonderful staff there. The individual attention each dog receives, no matter what your dog requires, they will attend to it in their best ability. The indivdual fenced in yard provided for each dog, guarantees a healthy and calm environment for your pup. I highly recommend this facility for all your boarding needs. Love Jess

Destiny's Club Mutt
2683 Weld County Rd 42, BerthoudI cannot say enough good things about Destiny's Club Mutt! My Long Coat German Shepherd, Oskar, was blowing his coat and had a severe mess of matted hair on his hindquarters that he just wouldn't let me touch. Whenever grooming gets beyond what I can handle at home, this is my go-to place.
Charlie was his groomer this time, and she was absolutely amazing with him. She was so kind, patient, and thorough—Oskar came out looking fantastic! I regularly trust Destiny's Club Mutt for both grooming and boarding, and I plan to start using their daycare services soon as well. The facility is always spotless, and the staff is consistently warm, loving, and professional. Highly recommend them to anyone in the Berthoud area!

Pet Sitting & Training
Happy Tails Dog Ranch
18490 Weld CoRd 1, BerthoudWe absolutely love it here! We moved to a different part of Colorado and had to leave our old boarding facility and we were incredibly nervous about sending our dog somewhere new. Marcy gets SO excited on the drive down and as we get closer to the facility she starts giving full body wags... and then promptly tries to pull our arm out trying to race in :) We love getting report cards every time we board her as well as the fact that daycare is included with boarding! She is always an incredibly happy (and tired) girl after we pick her up.

Dog Days Training Center
1605 Weld County Rd 40 1/2, BerthoudOur 6-month-old Shephadoodle just finished a 10-day board-and-train program with Laurie and the Dog Days team, and the results have been amazing! They not only trained our puppy but also gave us practical tips and the right tools to keep up the progress at home. Today we enjoyed a 3-mile walk with no pulling or barking—something I never thought possible with a high-energy pup! Laurie and her team were patient, knowledgeable, and truly cared about helping us succeed. Highly recommend Dog Days for anyone looking for expert training and support.

K9 Wisdom Training & Consulting, LLC.
1075 North 1st Street, BerthoudCathie, Maddy and Jenna are all awesome dog trainers! We started private training with Cathie as our rescue dog (Lizzy) was a handful to walk on leash and needed skills to help her properly interact with dogs and people. After some private training she began day school and we eventually did some group classes as well. Thanks to K-9 Wisdom helping us learn how to work with our girl, she is now an amazing house dog and snuggle bug. We walk 3 miles a day on public paths, take car rides everywhere-leaving windows down in parking lots-and take her hiking and camping!
I highly recommend K-9 Wisdom if you need some help learning how to help your fur baby be the best they can be!
