They have live cameras so you can check in on your pup in the playrooms, and I have seen the genuinely affectionate care they give my 3 dogs. Staff are well trained for medical emergencies and also to keep all dogs playing safely, which gives me great Peace of Mind. My dogs are always eager to be there when we arrive, and are restful at home after a day of play. I love that the staff know my dogs personally and give me feedback about them. I have boarded all 3 dogs multiple times and my feeding directions are always completely followed. CBW has sensible policies around feeding, rest, play and quiet time. Top-notch, loving care!

Mulnix Animal Clinic
1015 South Taft Hill Road Ste T, Fort CollinsMulnix Animal Clinic has been my vet for years, I'm just now getting around to writing a well-deserved review! Mulnix always takes such great care of my animals. Most recently, my cat was diagnosed with severe dental disease at her checkup and Mulnix came up with a great treatment plan. They did quote me for surgery, which they recognized was a high price, understandably with their surgical resources in house. However, they understood the cost behind such a surgery and went out of their way to recommend another local surgery center that is typically able to cut their surgical costs in half. They were correct, I ended up getting my cat in with a different dental surgeon at an affordable price, all thanks to my vet. It's so easy for vet facilities to want services to stay in house, but Mulnix truly cares about animal health and wellbeing. To recommend services outside of their scope that are more affordable, in my opinion, makes an exeptional vet. I will continue to bring my animals to Mulnix as long as I live here!

Persimmon is a bit dramatic and--thankfully--totally fine, but we absolutely loved Dr. Dan. He was so sweet and gentle and kind to my cat, I know I'm probably just as dramatic as Persimmon herself but it pulled my heart strings to see her being loved on and attended to with such sweetness. And I was a mess, as I imagine many are, as I said goodbye to my best friend of 15 years. I’m so so so grateful for the services Home to Heaven offers, and the practitioners who have chosen to support families going through these decisions and experiences. We interviewed multiple vet practices in Fort Collins and decided upon PetWellness. I’m so glad that we did because the care that we have received has been nothing short of exceptional. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The doctors and vet techs can’t say enough good things about them. Dr. Mike has now done two ACL surgeries on our pointer and 1 ACL surgery on our FILs dog. They have been there for us from the most minor things to the most serious health concerns. The grooming department is exceptional and we partake in the swimming pool. We’ve referred many people here. This is by far the best vet practice in Northern Colorado!

1103 Oak Park Drive Ste 101, Fort CollinsMy dog was not behaving normally after the heavy rainstorm we had in Ft. Collins on September 19th. My dog, Pepper is a new patient at this vet clinic. Dr. Higgins did a thorough job checking Pepper over and determined he had stressed his hind legs sometime during the rainstorm which explains why he didn’t want to go up and down the stairs in our 2 story home. She sent us home with medicine to reduce any inflammation in his legs. I would highly recommend this vet clinic for anyone looking for a new vet clinic.

On another occasion, they recognized that my senior dog was lacking thyroid hormone based on symptoms he's had for years. We were so surprised that our vet of over 10 years had missed this. After beginning treatment, he is energetic, happy, and wagging his tail again.

My dog, JoJo, has been through more health challenges than I ever imagined—from pancreatitis and gastroenteritis to a CCL tear, iliopsoas degeneration, recurrent UTIs, and incontinence. Through every diagnosis, every setback, and every difficult decision, Dr. Latell and the entire team have been there for us with exceptional medical care, compassion, and patience.
While Dr. Latell has primarily overseen JoJo’s care, I have had wonderful experiences with every veterinarian at the practice. It’s clear that everyone genuinely cares—not just about their patients, but about the people who love them. As an anxious pet owner, I’ve never felt dismissed or rushed. They always take the time to answer my questions, explain my options, and make sure I feel comfortable with every decision.
The greatest compliment I can give them is this: I trust them enough to perform JoJo’s upcoming surgery. Handing over your best friend for surgery is one of the hardest things a pet owner can do, and I have complete confidence that she is in the best hands possible.
Countryside has cared for both JoJo and me during some of the most stressful moments of our lives. They have treated us with kindness, empathy, and genuine dedication every step of the way.

My mom met Mike a while ago, and recommended we see him for training, and it's made a night-and-day difference with all 3. From individual training, to group training, to boarding, Mike's the only person I'll ever take my pup to when I just need some help. He's great at improving me as a responsible dog owner, while helping make my dog more comfortable and confident to cut down on nerves-based reactivity.
He's also a phenomenal wealth of resources for all things dog-related. Because of how difficult my Salem is, I struggled to find her a vet that would handle her alright. Mike recommended a favorite of his, and I was impressed from the get-go.

I am positive that attending classes at CLC is a big part of my successes at the recent Laramie Kennel Club dog shows and obedience classes. CLC is a fun, friendly place for anybody who loves working with their dogs.

They've been around for a long time, with Fat Tire being one of their most classic beers.This visit was my first time going to the NB brewery in CO. Glad we stopped by before heading out for dinner. This place was kid friendly, dog friendly, and beer lover friendly. Big open grassy area outside and they run a brewery tour but we weren't able to get tickets on the day we went. I tried the juicy haze IPA and a sour made with lychee, can't remember the name. Both were delicious. In Colorado there are so many breweries to visit, New Belgium is a good one to check out for sure.

1721 West Harmony Road Suite 102, Fort CollinsWe adopted our puppy Cosmo (Enzo) from All Aboard. They seem to be a good rescue, as long as you have the appropriate expectations. Most of their animals are from high intake areas out of state, which is amazing, but means they often don’t get a lot of time with the pets before adopting them out (inherently there is likely limited info on the pets). It also means they might have a delayed response time with so many animals/applications.
I appreciate that they do not neuter young puppies (instead there is a contract) and they let you make the healthiest decision with your vet on the appropriate age for neutering. I also like their in-depth application. It has thoughtful screening questions that all rescues should ask.
The best part of this rescue is their partner vet Animal Hospital of Colorado. When our puppy came home, we pretty quickly realized that he had kennel cough. I’m not putting any blame on the rescue for not knowing, since it’s possible his symptoms could have onset that day. The partner vet supported us with treatment immediately. Since then, our puppy has had manyyy other medical challenges, but Animal Hospital of Colorado has provided amazing care for him. The adoption does include 1 month of trupanion pet insurance, but we opted to use our own. A staff member did tell us during the adoption counseling that she regretted getting pet insurance, but I personally would never give this advice to families, especially when adopting out animals with an unknown health history (although this is just my personal opinion). Our sweet puppy would be a great example for the importance of pet insurance, as he has cost thousands in vet bills since adoption. Insurance is just my recommendation to any potential adopters !

Animal Friends Alliance Adoption Center
2200 North Taft Hill Road, Fort CollinsMy cat Mo, that I adopted on New Years Eve 2025, got out of the house and went roaming around yesterday while I was at work. Someone found him probably at the hotel in front of where I live because he loves to go over there and thought he was a lost pet, so they took him to the Animal Friends Alliance.
Fortunately they have him microchipped and knew I was his owner and gave me a call about my boy. I went to pick him up before they closed.
So glad to know he was kept safe until I was off work.
