204 Elcho Ave A, Crested ButteI just had the most amazing experience at Pet Au Pairs in Crested Butte, Colorado. Meg Burns took my year old Catahoula for 10 days. My little girl Aspen jumped on me, on other people, ran away, wouldn’t come when I called, jumped on countertops. I had worked with her for a year, but could not get her trained. In ten days of training and boarding Meg Burns and team turned her into the most amazing dog that loves me, obeys me, respects me. I cannot thank Meg and her company enough for what she did. Highly recommend!

COFFEE LAB
8000 Co Rd 317, Crested ButteI am so obsessed with this little spot. It’s located right in the historic town hall in Gothic, and the coolest part is that all the proceeds go toward supporting the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory. You're literally buying coffee for science!
I stopped by for an iced latte before heading out on a hike, and the espresso was incredibly smooth and high-quality. The staff (mostly students and researchers working the lab) were so friendly and passionate. Just keep in mind it's a seasonal spot that's only open during the summer months, but if you are biking or hiking up County Road 317, you absolutely have to stop here.

Rumors Coffee and Tea House
414 Elk Ave, Crested ButteI visited both coffee shops on this corner. I preferred Rumors overall. The coffee was 7% less expensive than the place next door. The inside space was more spacious. And although they didn't have my drink on the menu they made it for me. They offered breakfast items as well. Definitely seemed more family friendly with a bookstore inside and workplace meeting spaces. The barista was super friendly and accommodating.

The decor is phenomenal throughout the inside and outside of the establishment and we enjoyed the outdoor seating for dinner. The chips and queso were great along with the fish tacos, pork belly taco, pork belly bowl, and the Mediterranean bowl. We did enjoy the Mexican Lager as well. The service was great from the moment we walked in the door and got seated through the whole meal and as we left. This was a fun stop for food and drinks.

Their ice cream is always fresh and there are so many fun flavors. We went 4 times while on our trip around 6, despite the busy lines they were always very nice!
