Castle Peak Veterinary Service
734 Chambers Ave, EagleWe really appreciate the friendly and professional staff at Castle Peak Veterinary Service. They have taken such good care of our dog every time we have boarded him and every time we have taken him in for a medical or dental issue. Dr Remy is great at explaining things and including us in decisions and our dog is relaxed and happy when she examines him and even when she gives him his vaccines. Thanks Castle Peak!

Wanderlust Dogs - Eagle
45 Eagle Park E Dr, EagleWanderlustDogs is a perfect spot to board my Aussie. He loves it there and I am so comfortable knowing that he is having a great time and being well cared for! I wish WanderlustDogs would move to Idaho where I could be a more frequent flyer, but until they open in Boise my pup and I will make do with stays when we come to Colorado (several times each year).

The service was a little slow, but they were also busy. It was midday on a Thursday. Recommend for a lunch stop on a road trip!

Moe's Original BBQ
630 Grand Ave, EagleWINGS: You just dont get wings around the Eagle River Valley as phenomenal as the ones served at Moe’s BBQ. I live me some proper Buffalo wings and unfortunately a lot of places just fall short. These are not technically “buffalo wings” but let me tell ya! Their Alabama white sauce might just be better than the best buffalo sauce out there.
Superior cooking techniques (smoked) and just perfectly cooked. Every. Single. Time.
9.8/10 easy.
Crunchy exterior, moist and flavorful inside and idealistic sauce to boot. Top notch wings!
As far as the rest of my visit, everything was spot on. Staff vibes were high. Place was clean and everyone was well attended to. Cannot recommend enough. This deserves to be a stop for food on any trip to eagle.

Eagle County Animal Services
1400 Fairgrounds Rd, EagleIt took awhile for the right kitten to be available for adoption, and since I’d never had a pet before I considered purchasing a kitten out of impatience and allergies, but my experience at Eagle County Animal Services completely changed my mind.
I already found it hard to justify the cost of purchasing a kitten (usually $1,000+), but when I learned about all the included benefits of adopting I will likely never consider purchasing a pet again. $150 for a sweet, allergy-friendly Russian blue Mix kitten, with shots, neutering, a starter kit, and a free post-adoption vet visit. I got all of her previous medical records and exams. They also have a seven day, no questions asked return policy if the animal isn’t a good fit, which I do wish was just a little longer since cats take longer to come out of their shell but I still think it’s more than fair.
I hadn’t realized how much this shelter does for the community, and I couldn’t be happier with my kitten. Adopt don’t shop! Oh and if you want to support the shelter, buy them items from their amazon wishlist, don’t donate to the general fund because the county can redistribute those donations!
