Peak Performance Veterinary Group: Frisco
700 Summit Blvd, FriscoMy dog was limping due to arthritis in her elbows. We hated to see her in pain and were managing it with daily pain meds, but we definitely didn't want that to be our forever plan. Dr. Gaynor examined her and suggested that we try elbow injections of hyalauric acid to lubricate the joints. We did, and it worked!! We're so grateful that she's no longer limping. Dr. Gaynor was wonderful to work with - he thoroughly explained what was going on with her and our options for managing it. He took the time to answer all of my questions (and I had a lot of them!), which I really appreciated. After our experience working with him I would highly recommend Dr. Gaynor if you are looking for someone to help you manage pain in your pet!

Wildflower BBQ
842 N Summit Blvd # 38, FriscoI did not go inside, but my husband picked up dinner for us before they closed. It’s honestly the best barbecue I’ve had as a midwesterner and each of us in the family tried something different (kid tried the sloppy kids sandwich, husband had a brisket sandwich, and I had pork belly) and all of us enjoyed it. I loved the okra and collared greens as well, it’s a very hearty meal. 10/10, only complaint is that they close mid-afternoon lol.

5th Avenue Grille
423 E Main St, FriscoIf you're looking for a spot that hits the perfect trifecta of amazing food, great vibes, and top-tier hospitality, 5th Ave Grille is it.
The energy here is fantastic, and the staff makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. There’s a genuine warmth to the service that elevates the whole night.
As for the menu, two things are absolute must-tries. First, the Chicha Morada mocktail is incredible—super refreshing and packed with unique, vibrant flavor. Second, the Double Wagyu Burger is straight-up bitchin’. It’s incredibly juicy, perfectly executed, and easily one of the best burgers in the county!!
Phenomenal food, stellar atmosphere, and great people. I highly recommend checking them out!
Ps!! Creme brûlée is a must and completely guilt free!!

Eagle BBQ
214 Ten Mile Cir, FriscoOverall Rating and is it worth a visit: 8.25/10 and Yes. Fittingly located at the bottom of Copper Mountain's American Eagle chair lift, Eagle BBQ was a surprising gem that I did not expect to find at the end of a ski run, but was happy to review none the less. Upon descending from the slopes and walking through the doors, a nice pleasant smell of smoke hits you and gets you excited for what comes next. You line up along the wall and place your order cafeteria style, with food served on metal trays atop black butcher paper. For the order, I ended up going with the 2 meat premier platter with brisket, ribs, and the mac & cheese as the side, served with a slice of white bread and multiple homemade sauces available. After getting my food, I grabbed a seat at the bar and as a change up, ordered a Bloody Mary instead of the usual beer. Happily, this ended up being the perfect way to cut the fattiness of the meats and might be my new go to. In terms of the meal itself, the brisket and ribs were solid, especially for being at elevation and in the middle of winter, with the only side I had being just okay. In terms of the customer service, it was solid while also giving laid back mountain vibes, which paired perfectly with the rest of the ambiance. The place was also packed on a Friday, making for a super fun and lively experience far better than your typical mountain chalet restaurant. Somehow being privately owned even through they are at the bottom of the center village run, they make for a super easy and delicious stop for a mid day snack or drink with your friends and the family. BBQ fans, come here with confidence if feeling the itch for some brisket or smoked meats after a long day of shredding. Will be back again. Full review at The House of Salt & Smoke

Summit County Animal Control and Shelter
58 Nancy's Place, FriscoWe got our sweet Mr. Big (formerly Webster) here in early November I can’t say enough good things about our entire experience working with the amazing staff here. We were hand held through the entire adoption process, got matched with the perfect dog to join our family and they provided us with all the resources and supplies we needed. Huge shoutout to Celeste and the entire team!!
In the first week with Mr., he slipped his collar and was missing for a few incredibly stressful hours. We got into contact with the team here & within 10 minutes had multiple employees coming to help us search. Tyger, (the animal control officer and our personal hero), spent her night talking on the phone with us through our emotions and calming us down throughout the entire experience. After he was found, the next morning they called us and told us they had the perfect harness picked out and ready for him.
Our lil guy went from being the most timid dog to the silliest spunkiest guy and we couldn’t have done it without the tips and assistance from you guys. He’s glued to me at the hip, loves playing with other dogs and has nightly hours of zoomies. He’s our bestie!!
Big shoutout to the entire team for going above and beyond for us, and I could not be more happy with our experience.
