Mutt Hutt Grooming Salon
1776 Avalon Dr, Estes ParkThe Mutt Hut is the best! My dog normally didn't like going to the groomers, and then we found Donna and Larry and now she shows excitement when we arrive there. They treat me and my dog like family, and that's why we lov them.

Pet Sitting & Training

Estes Park Pet Lodge
1260 Manford Ave, Estes ParkThis place was able to take my dog on Saturday evening and be able to pick them up on Sunday morning. A lot of pet boarding was closed on Sunday and this worked with our schedule perfectly.
They also sent my dog a Happy Birthday card months after our only stay with them. If I’m ever back in Estes Park and I need boarding I will definitely go here first.

Boss Burgers and Gyros
861 Moraine Ave, Estes ParkBest burgers in Colorado! Boss Burgers served us better burgers than the pricey burgers we had in Denver the next night. While the whole place is low key and casual, it’s cheerful and the person who took our order was friendly.

Elkins Distilling - Tasting Room & Mercantile
137 E Elkhorn Ave, Estes ParkOur experience at the Elkins Tasting Room with Marina was hands down my favorite part of our trip to Estes. The store was beautiful, with a large variety of different sauces and preserves made from their own whisky. Everything we tried, from their Honey Mustard Sauce and Peach Bourbon jam to their Sweet Tea and Lemonade Vodkas (we also tried the apple, fire, and honey whiskys! 12/10 recommend) were amazing! I have ever never considered myself a whisky person, and honestly I'm not much of a vodka girl most days, but I fell in LOVE with Elkins whisky and their vodka instantly and I'm headed home with nearly a case of product.
Marina was so sweet and so knowledgeable about the products and where the ingredients are sourced from (all in Colorado!) and made it such a warm and welcoming environment!
If you're in Estes and you're not stopping by, you're messing up!

The Rock Inn Mountain Tavern
1675 CO-66, Estes ParkA true gem of Estes Park. There is something here for everyone—from delicious homemade pizzas to exotic cuisine, and from local EP beer on tap to upscale cocktails. There are always at least a couple of good vegetarian options. Show up in muddy hiking clothes or make it a romantic date night, it's all good. The building is a charming historic cabin, and the colder months they have a fire in the antique wood burning stove, and during warmer evenings you can sit outside and view the peaks of Rocky Mountain National Park. The staff are always welcoming, and there are live singer-songwriter musicians many evenings. If one restaurant could represent the spirit of Estes Park, the Rock Inn would be it.

Notchtop Bakery & Cafe
459 E Wonderview Ave #5, Estes ParkLarge menu, with plenty of vegetarian options for both breakfast and lunch. \nIt took a little while for the food to arrive (subsequently, my husband's french fries were lukewarm), but the place was packed midday on a Thursday. \nThe portions were large, and the food was very good. The red pepper soup is the best I have ever had! \nIt was a little too windy to sit outside, but the views from the patio and window were amazing. (Does Estes Park have any views that aren't amazing?!)\nWould recommend.

Estes Park Dog Park
Estes ParkGreat convenient location for my puppy to stretch his legs when we get into Estes Park. There are a few different fenced areas, so dogs can be separated if wanted. Toys, water, agility equipment, and all kinds of products to pick up poop are available. Unfortunately, many people have not made use of the poop scoopers as there is tons of poop all over the place. Which is a shame since a lot of consideration and effort has evidently been put into making this a five star stop.
