Mutt Hutt Grooming Salon
1776 Avalon Dr, Estes ParkThe Mutt Hut is the best! My dog normally didn't like going to the groomers, and then we found Donna and Larry and now she shows excitement when we arrive there. They treat me and my dog like family, and that's why we lov them.

Pet Care
Animal Hospital of the Rockies
453 Pine River Ln, Estes ParkI boarded my dog, Chisum, here when we were on vacation this summer. He's an anxious dog and I haven't had to board him since he was a puppy so I was pretty nervous about it too. I am very happy that they were able to take such good care of him. They were great at giving us updates on how he was doing, and they were really great at accommodating his needs. They even sat with him in the kennel to make him feel better, and took him on extra trips outside because they noticed he was happier outdoors. We were able to visit him when needed (only needed to once) and they were kind enough to mail back a couple of his items that I accidentally left behind.Overall, we were very happy with the service we received and I am very thankful they took such good care of my little guy.

Animal Medical Center-Estes Park
1260 Manford Ave, Estes ParkI can't say enough positive things about the Animal Medical Center of Estes Park. They have been my dogs' vet since 2014. I moved away from Estes Park but I still make the drive for my dogs' care because they are so far superior to any other vet I tried in my current city (I have tried two different practices.) First of all, AMC Estes Park is very cost effective. I went to a small local chain in Denver (Goodheart) and they quoted me ~$850 for an abdominal ultrasound, and I would have had to bring my dog back for a special appointment to do so. I opted to bring my dog to AMC Estes Park for a second opinion on her diagnosis. During that appointment Dr. Fish quickly took my dog back and did an abdominal ultrasound on her right then and there... and I was only charged $86 for the ultrasound. I was FLOORED by the price difference. But more importantly, I love the doctors here. I have never met Dr. Sloan, but Drs Fish, Fliceck, and Bryant are all excellent. They are personable, always call you back right away, clearly know what they are doing, and you can tell they really truly care about you and your pets. The personal care you receive from AMC Estes Park is unlike anything I have experienced elsewhere. My dogs have had multiple surgeries and diseases treated over the years, and I have always been happy with the outcome. 5 stars, for sure.

Pet Sitting & Training
Estes Park Pet Lodge
1260 Manford Ave, Estes ParkWe boarded our dog Sadie here for 3 nights while we camped at RMNP. The pet lodge was reasonably priced and Sadie had her own walk everyday, kong time, and play with the other dogs. The staff was very friendly and accommodating when we called about arriving a little late. Sadie had her own mini vacation while we camped. We would board her here again.

THE BARREL
251 Moraine Ave, Estes ParkThe Barrel is one of our favorite go-to spots for a craft beer in Estes Park, so when it came time to pick a venue for our rehearsal dinner, renting a room here was an obvious choice. And I'm so glad we did, because the night was perfect! Ian was a pleasure to work with. We met with him a few times on the phone leading up to the event to go over options, timing, and logistics. He was always so kind and thorough, we really appreciated the attention to detail! He made sure that we could play our own music playlist and helped coordinate the food setup from the caterers. He and his team really went above and beyond in ensuring we felt comfortable and cared for - and the event turned out better than we could've imagined!

Mangia Mangia Pizzeria Food Truck
Park Ln, Estes ParkGot a couple pepperoni pizza and the Panorama Peak pizza. So. Good! I am not a fan of ricotta, but the way they build the Panorama Peak pizza, the toppings with the ricotta compliment each other very nicely. So good. Looking forward to trying one of their other pizzas.

Boss Burgers and Gyros
861 Moraine Ave, Estes ParkThis place is absolutely delicious and it's right at the entrance to Rocky Mountains National Park. The staff was super friendly and gave us some of their amazing homemade Tzatziki sauce on the chicken gyro. The buffalo burger was really chewy and flavorful, the strawberry shake tasted like it came straight out of a 1950s diner, the classic cheeseburger was juicy, and everything tasted fresh. You gotta stop here if you're in Estes Park!*Pictured below is Strawberry Shake & Bufflalo Burger.*Parking: Approx 12 spots our front to park and a drive-thru for quick orders.

Lumpy Ridge Brewing Co.
531 S St Vrain Ave, Estes ParkBeing an Estes local I have tried all the local breweries and this one is my favorite. View is incredible with both indoor and outdoor seating. Great beer with several options, reasonable prices at $7-$8 a pint, and there is usually a food truck in the parking lot (if not, the bowling alley called The Bull Pin next door has good eats). Easy to get to, about a five minute drive from downtown. Far enough away from the busy-ness of downtown, but if you are downtown they have a new location on Cleave Street.

Antonio's Real New York Pizza
1560 Big Thompson Ave, Estes ParkGreat pizza. A little far but one is going up near us and we wanted to try it. NY style, chewy crust. Toppings were fresh. Best pizza we've found in 10 years of living in Colorado. Leftovers were just okay. I was a little disappointed in that. We're looking forward to the new one.

Estes Park Dog Park
Estes ParkWhen we arrived in Estes Park and we were lamenting that Bo hadn’t been out independently for a couple of days while we were traveling to our next destination.Of course, he went out on the leash, but he’s just not prone to going potty as he is not used to it.I looked up a dog park and it looked like there was a very nice one in Estes Park, I obtained the directions and we drove thereMy husband took Bobo out into the park, which was completely fenced in and on a lake, but arranged so that the dogs could not get in the water. I was grateful of that since Bobie is just learning how to swim and I didn’t really want him all wet as it was quite chilly!!!Estes hasn’t had any snowfall for over a week but there’s still quite a bit of snow on the ground. Bo has never seen snow so he was fascinated but I don’t think he really understood it.There were half a dozen other dogs there, mostly around his size, and he had a great time running around doing Zoomies, chasing the other dogs and just running in general. He ran over to me, when he saw me by the fence which was very cute, but then ran out so he could run with his new dog friends again. It took quite some time to get Bo reeled in and we weren’t due at our rental into the duplex so we stayed at the park for about a half hour. Bo had a great time. There’s lots of room it’s well-kept up, we don’t know if it closes for the harsh part of the winter but they do have bags available to pick up your dogs, excrement and place them in a closed trash bin.I bet it’s also beautiful in the spring and summer. If you have a dog and you’re in Estes Park, we highly recommend this dog park.
