Kickapoo Tavern
129 River Run Rd, KeystoneSuch a great friendly place, that we went there twice during our visit. Good food, attentive staff, reasonable pricing and a great atmosphere. I left my phone on the table and Manager Marcos chased me down all the way to the parking lot to return it. What a Godsend! Losing my phone would have wrecked my trip!

Steep Brewing and Coffee & Snowbird Cafe and Bistro River Run Village
195 River Run Rd, KeystoneAmazing. Took Apple Pay, the Leige waffles were worth the $12. Genuinely the best waffles I’ve ever had. And the cocoa was amazing. Great service, quick with getting our food out quickly. 4 waffles and 4 pieces of bacon (as shown) enough to share for 2, for $12, and $5 for a 12 oz cocoa that was absolutely worth it. I Recommended to everyone I talked to.

Inxpot
195 River Run Rd, KeystoneWhere to start? We spent a week in keystone and luckily found the Inxpot the first day and proceeded to come here everyday to fuel our adventures. Everyone on staff was amazing but special shout out to Marissa who put together a list of staff favorite hikes and restaurants that were all better than the next. It’s clear everyone at the Inxpot has great taste.
The drip coffee is the best in the area, and the lattes and speciality drinks are perfectly mixed. The staff was tinkering with new drinks to put on the menu, so there’s plenty of unique items to try. The food is similarly fantastic. The signature burrito is perfection in a tortilla (and even better cold on a hike at mayflower gultch). And our 10 year old declared their Asiago bagel as the best he’s ever tasted, and we have taken him to New York so either it’s that good or he has a terrible memory.
In a ski area full of corporate places, it was delightful to find such a unique place. We’ll definitely be back!
