Today, I have my sweet Austin, who is a very sensitive rescue—afraid of loud noises, a bit hard of hearing, and very much a “Velcro dog” who is deeply attached to me. Leaving him is never easy… but with Amazing Tails, I have complete peace of mind.
The difference is incredible—Austin actually wags his tail and jumps out of the car when we arrive. That alone says everything.
I’ve left him overnight, even for extended stays of over two weeks, and have never had a single concern. He is genuinely loved, cared for, and treated like family in my absence.
The home environment is beautiful, with a large property that gives the dogs space to relax and play—but what truly sets Amazing Tails apart is the personal, attentive, and loving care provided.

Veterinary Surgery Specialty Center
2011 Englewood Rd, EnglewoodI had to take my cat there in February for a PU surgery. My regular vet gave me a referral for dr Young. The staff was so kind, and the surgeon excellent. They took very good care of my cat, even after we took him back post surgery because he was feeling nauseous and wouldn’t eat. I called on a Friday for emergency surgery on Monday and they were able to accommodate us. Highly recommend this place!

Called they said bring her right in.chris the vet went over her determined she had infection and I was given drugs and instructions she was back jumping around in 2 days. As you walk in past the outdoor bar there is an inside dining area with a bar, nice but then you go through the doors and you are in an outside patio which is beautifully lit and has a huge decorated tree. There is a stage and plenty of table and seating. This is where we had dinner and listened to Sweet Fleet a Fleetwood Mac cover band. Food was great , service was great (and it was busy) but to add to it the band was awesome ($10 cover charge). I've lived here 6 years and this was our first time and we are going back. I can't believe this is in our little town. What a jewel.

2395 N Beach Rd, EnglewoodI’ve been to this restaurant twice, and I would definitely recommend it. If you’re planning to visit, I suggest calling ahead for a reservation to avoid waiting, especially during busy hours. They also offer valet parking, which is very convenient.
On my first visit, I ordered the Sunset Sky Roll, and it was excellent. The second time, I tried the octopus and hamachi nigiri, and I really enjoyed both dishes as well. The quality of the food was consistently great on both visits.
If you have the chance, sit outside—the view is beautiful and makes the dining experience even better.
Overall, it’s a great restaurant with delicious food, a nice atmosphere, and excellent service. I highly recommend it!

420 W Dearborn St., EnglewoodDropped into this tapas spot with a few friends and we ordered half the menu the patatas bravas were crispy with a smoky aioli the gambas al ajillo came sizzling in garlic oil and the chorizo was perfectly charred, the staff was super friendly kept the small plates coming at a nice pace and the sangria was fruity and dangerous, I been tellin all my friends about this gem and im definitely coming back for the croquetas and manchego next time.

1990 Placida Rd, EnglewoodThis is a great taste of old Florida. They have a limited menu but the quality and quantity are great. I thoroughly enjoyed the cheesesteak sandwich with sweet potato fries. They even offered a free beer with our entre. The atmosphere is laid backed and relaxed under a massive tiki hut. There is a large outdoor seating area beyond the tiki hut and Adirondack chairs by the docks. This is definitely one of those places you should visit by boat. They have live music at times, though when we visited, they were just playing recorded tunes with a beach vibe.
They don't have a wait staff. you place an order with the bar tender and then pick it up at what looks like a food truck. the staff was very friendly and a pleasure to talk with. i would highly recommend this place for an informal meal when you have time to hang, chill and relax.

Becca always takes care of her tables and I really appreciate her patience with my grandma lol!
