Pet Grooming

Groom Room
91-896 Makule Rd, Ewa BeachIt’s hard to find a reasonably priced groomer who also does a great job on the shape of the cut you want for your doodle. Groom room is always on point! My dog also had surgery on her leg before, and during the healing process I didn’t even ask but they gave her an antiseptic soak bath which helped dry and heal and aid in a much faster recovery. All of the staff are great go here ?

Loving Paws Dog Boarding
00- 000, Ewa Beachwe absolutely loved boarding our boy with stephanie for 11 days. this is the only boarder i could find with 5 stars on yelp and she did not disappoint! this was our first time leaving our dog with a person that wasn't family/friends so i was very anxious... especially because he's a 70lb pitbull and i know the reputation this breed can have and how some people may feel about them... but stephanie was very sweet and kept complimenting him which made me feel a lot better already :) we had an initial 1 hour meeting with stephanie in her yard while our dog explored and got familiar with the environment. stephanie let him get comfortable being around her and didn't bombard him to make him feel anxious or nervous! by the time we got back from our trip, i can already tell they had become best friends :) she sent us plenty of photos and told me our dog was playing and giving plenty of cuddles. so i automatically knew he was having a great time!! my dog is kind of a lone wolf and likes to play with people more than other dogs. stephanie was very attentive to this and made sure all the dogs were having a fun while being safe at her home! i would most definitely board with her again, i trust her wholeheartedly thank you for taking such good care of our baby!

Kaulike K9, LLC
91-1121 Keaunui Drive STE 108, PMB 198, Ewa BeachI could go on for hours about how much I love Ashley and Makana! I want to start out by saying that they are so dedicated to the pets they work with and truly care if the dogs actually progress vs it being a mass quick turn around a train and send you on your way like some big dog training companies.Cooper is currently in their training program and is getting help with anxiety and nervousness. For the longest time I couldn’t understand why he wasn’t getting better when I was constantly doing obedience training. Come to find out that we were taught only dog obedience from another training company and pretty much no information on dog psychology which he was really lacking and needed to progress. After three day trains I really started to see him grow again and start the progress of being confident. This is something that can’t be fixed overnight because he is fighting genetics and trauma. If it was for Ashley taking the time to answer my questions during my time working with him at home I don’t think I could help get him there as quick and by doing this she really helped me learn what I need to improve to help cooper shine. 10000000% recommend to anyone who really wants to see their dog become a better healthier version of themselves.

D'lish at the beach
5440 Edgewater Dr, Ewa BeachSome things dont seem %100 worth the prices, but the service, atmosphere etc to me out weigh that. Its a beautiful spot that is now my go to beach area.

Aloha Brew Coffee Bar
Near, 91-1129 Kahiuka St, Ewa BeachUsually busy but caught them at a great time with no line. Nice canopy shading from the trees - it was light raining and I didn’t get rained on. Ordered 2 drinks, good flavor. Wouldn’t go out of my way to come here but nice, convenient location if I’m already at the park and no line. Not a huge fan of their matcha, but their coffee-based drinks were good. Fun menu though! I’ll try an affogato next time.

L&L Hawaiian BBQ (Ewa Beach)
91-896 Makule Rd #107, Ewa BeachI was visiting Hawaii and decided to go to this location because it was close to where I was staying and I was running errands in the immediate area and I’m familiar with this food chain. But I don’t recommend this location because the service was horrible and the food was worse! I have been to L& L in California and the food was AMAZING! I couldn’t eat the food because it tasted warmed up and the macaroni salad was sour so I tossed it and went to another location and the food was cooked to order and I was very pleased.

Ohana Drive Inn
91-896 Makule Rd #101, Ewa BeachOut of the way spot someone recommended. Glad we found it! The jindui was crunchy and toasted and almost as good as Popo's. The breakfast special was yummy: scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, tasty link sausage, spam, and fried rice. Eaten too fast to take a picture. Will try lunch next time.

Matsuzaka-Tei Ewa Beach
91-1121 Keaunui Dr, Ewa BeachI ordered a large beef bowl. It was the right amount of beef to rice. I still had leftovers and finished it the next day. Service was good. Nothing over the top. I noticed they put a table and four chairs inside.

L&L Hawaiian Barbecue
91-1401 Fort Weaver Rd A-107, Ewa BeachBest L&L on island in my opinion. Food is consistent, chicken katsu is always fresh and crispy, and their portions are bigger than most L&L's here. Family that runs it is friendly and quick too.

Boba♡Cafe
91-902 Fort Weaver Rd #101b, Ewa BeachThe drinks I ordered was average to other boba shops, granted that I ordered simple, flavored green tea with jelly and a lemonade slush with jelly too.
However, the service was great. I heard the cashier greet customers she hadn't seen in a while with a friendly welcome. All staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered something online, two orders but apart from each other. I was told that both would be made and ready together. But that wasnt the case and only one order was ready at pick up. It seems that communication between all involved are not in sync. The person helping me at the shop was very professional in handling the situation. There was no compensation for their error and I realized this is not the first time it happened. (They need to work on this)
But I'll be back, obviously for my order, and perhaps order a different drink to try next time.

Thai Pho Ewa
91-1121 Keaunui Dr suite #114, Ewa BeachFirst time eating at this restaurant. I love pho, Vietnamese, Thai, or Lao style. I had the rare beef and tendon pho. The broth was on the sweeter side and the aroma was more from star anise and I could smell the sweetness. Overall taste was nice with some of my preferred sauce and spice added. I also had the papaya salad, Lao style, hot. Boy was it hot, not unbearable but with the combination of the hot soup, my tongue was on fire and sweat beaded on my forehead. I took my salad to go and finished it later with some sticky rice at home. I like the flavor and the crunch, one that'd id come back for.
The prices were a bit on the high side, which sadly seems to be close to an average price these days. Each dish was, on average, between $15-$25. I order 3 items and my total was $62.
Water refill was frequent until more people came in, then I had to stop them for water/napkins. But the waitress was polite.
The atmosphere was with low music and moderate noise from customers talking, dishes clattering, and the fan/ac blowing (humming) I could talk with my daughter without raising my voice.

Bird of Paradise Restaurant
Keaunui Dr, Ewa BeachI recently dined at Bird of Paradise Restaurant, and overall it was a pleasant and relaxing dining experience on the west side of Oahu. Located within the Hoakalei Country Club area, the restaurant benefits from a scenic setting that immediately sets a calm tone for the meal. The views of the golf course create an open and peaceful environment that feels slightly removed from the busier parts of Ewa Beach. Large windows allow natural light to fill the dining room, which adds to the comfortable atmosphere and makes the surrounding greenery feel like part of the experience.
The dining space itself has a clean, modern island aesthetic with a layout that feels spacious and welcoming. It is the kind of environment that works well for a casual lunch, relaxed dinner, or small gathering with friends or family. The restaurant strikes a good balance between casual and polished without feeling overly formal.
The menu focuses on approachable island-inspired dishes and familiar comfort foods. The seafood options stood out, highlighting the freshness that you would expect from a restaurant in Hawaii. The kitchen appears to emphasize simple preparation and balanced flavors rather than overly complicated techniques, which works well for the style of food being served. Portions were satisfying, and the presentation was neat and appealing without trying to be overly elaborate.
Service throughout the meal was friendly and attentive. The staff checked in regularly and maintained a welcoming attitude that made the experience comfortable. While the service felt relaxed rather than highly formal, it matched the casual resort-style atmosphere of the restaurant and contributed to an easygoing dining experience.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of the visit was the setting itself. Dining with open views of the golf course adds a sense of space and tranquility that enhances the meal. It is the type of environment where guests can comfortably take their time and enjoy the surroundings while eating.
Overall, Bird of Paradise Restaurant delivers a solid and enjoyable dining experience with good food, friendly service, and a scenic location that enhances the atmosphere. While it may not aim for fine dining complexity, it succeeds in offering reliable island-style cuisine in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

Genki Sushi
91-1401 Fort Weaver Rd D-102, Ewa BeachCame for dinner on a thursday evening. Surprisingly there wasn't a wait for a table. We usually take out because we have 5 people (3 of which are children under 11) in our family and this location is always busy. But we decided to dine in while my two older kids had a sleepover. The food is always good whether its take-out or dine in. When you dine in you atleast get the experience of the robot delivering your food to the table. The only reason I gave the atmosphere 4 stars is because most tables only sit 4 and yes they could probably put two tables together but what are the chances when its super busy.
