All I can say is that our puppy’s first grooming experience was even better than we imagined. Hoku did an amazing job. She also gave us helpful pointers and tips on how to manage our dog’s hair, along with great advice for our dog’s overall health. She was very easy to work with and truly a professional at what she does. I highly recommend her grooming services.

95-437 Kaawela Pl, MililaniI can’t say enough good things about Megan’s grooming at Velvet Paw Groomers! She did an excellent job working with my Goldendoodle! Olive arrived with a butch job I had done trying to get out mats! She still had mats upon arrival and I gave Megan full permission to shave her so we could start over. When I picked Olive up she was so cute with velvet soft fur and was clipped so meticulously! And we can now see Olive’s eyes with her long lashes!!! Olive loved Megan and her poodles who she got to play with before her groom. I definitely will return again and again as I know Olive had a good experience and loved Megan!!! Thank you again…from the bottom of our hearts! Olive feels so much better! ❤️

94-073 Puanane Loop, MililaniAmazing experience for our sweet rescued fur baby. Owner is a really sweet compassionate animal lover. Came in on time, it's our first time w mobile groomers, my dog immediately ran up to her w excitement like he already met her. She even sent me text photos as she goes on with the service. Orion was done in 30 mins, showered, nails trimmed with a happy smile. Highly recommend over Pet smart!

95-1095 ʻĀinamakua Dr #5, MililaniOur visit to Mililani Mauka Veterinary Hospital was a scary one. Our baby of 14 years fell seriously ill the night before. When my husband called, they told us to bring Malia in right away. When we arrived, they took Malia directly to the back to give her a full checkup. Turned out that our babies condition was more serious than expected. We had to come to the decision to put our baby girl to sleep. The doctor was so compassionate and supportive. She walked us through everything that would take place. I couldn't believe that this was happening. Hubby was strong enough for both of us. He held Malia and talked with her until she took her last breath. We just cried together. Even though this was an emotional moment, the staff provided us with exceptional service. Amazing experience showing love and kindness to us when we needed it most. Mahalo!

95-660 Lanikuhana Ave, MililaniFrom the time we arrived with our cat Neko.We were greeted kindly by Sharon,she's sweet in every way made us feel comfortable, didn't wait long. Kelsie(Veterinarian assistant)took us right in. Neko did really good with her Meagan Black couldn't believe it, being that this wasn't Neko's 1st time with Dr. Black,she gave a 2 options(with prices)found out Neko had an infection,that was causing him not to eat.Dr.Black did the surgery and sent us home with medicine. We felt the price was reasonable and now we have a great place to take our cat for treatment. Thank you,Sharon, Kellie and Meagan(Dr. Black) for doing such a great job getting our Neko better. Its been 6 days now and Neko is back to his naughty self. We are so very grateful to HIPets Vet Clinic for the Aloha, Support and Warm welcome and service we received. P.S. Neko says hello to Kelsie-didnt seem to mind you taking his temperature. Lol 😆 Meagan-he stills appreciates you. Lol 😆 Sharon, your a gem 💎 with love and Aloha,Keone and Kim Johnasen

200 Akamainui St, MililaniBraaaaah. Just had the best plate lunch in a long, long time. I keep forgetting about the food trucks in the Mililani Tech Park area, I'm so glad I remembered today. For some reason I gravitated towards Flyin' Ahi. Despite a wide variety to choose from, I got the crab-stuffed opah plate for $18. Photo does not do it justice. It was absolutely ONO. It sat on a bed of rice with their truffle cream sauce drizzled over it... heaven. Pure heaven. The supporting cast of mac salad and apple/tomato/lettuce salad was also on point. Worth the price, this is a sit-down restaurant quality meal. And I was met with a very friendly greeting, which somehow makes the food taste better. It's all street parking, and lots of it, but don't be the dummy that parks in the median in the middle of the road just to be close. So unsafe and idiotic. Lots of other food trucks to choose from, go and support local. Make the effort.

200 Akamainui St, MililaniSteak Plate was well seasoned, tender and cooked perfect for my tastes. Pork belly was essentially deep fried extra thick cut bacon with an aioli sauce. Definitely a winner for me. It was crispy and tender at the same time, if that makes any sense.

Found Tasty Jerky among many vendors in the Hawaii Okinawa Center's Craft Fair and what a lovely setting it was with Santa and silent auction, as I looked at the many flavors they carry in both large and smaller package along with thick and thin and crispy cuts it was Ponzu and Adobo style that really caught my attention. I absolutely love ponzu...adobo as well but really wanted to just get one and with the description of "lemon savory flavor"...it was so hard to resist. Show special of $12 or three for $30 is a great deal but I just wanted to give them as try first and it had a nice crisp to it but just didn't really get if any of the lemon flavor unfortunately and honestly didn't taste like ponzu at all but was a very yummy bite. Getting the flavor right is a difficult thing but I just really needed it to be there for me but love they had other items as well like "toppers" where it's probably the little bits as suggestion for use as snack or top your hot rice or popcorn is a cool way to not waste and still enjoy the flavors it has to offer. The staff there was nice to inform us of the specials and the various items they sell but there were no samples so I couldn't commit to the $30 option as I do love to support local and flavors that many have offers for us to try. Thank you!

95-1249 Meheula Parkway Suite 157, MililaniThis was hands down my favorite place to eat during our 9 day vacation on Oahu! I believe it’s a husband and wife run spot, with the wife working up front and the husband cooking in the back.
We ordered the meat jun, short ribs, and shrimp tempura. Let me tell you…the meat jun was AMAZING! My kids absolutely devoured it. But for me, the star of the meal was definitely the short ribs. They were packed with flavor, the pieces were huge, and honestly, they were some of the best short ribs I’ve ever had!
The only downside was that the food took a little longer to come out. But considering this seems to be a mom and pop shop, it really wasn’t a big deal at all. When the food is this good, it’s worth the wait!
Definitely one of those places I’ll remember from our Oahu trip!

Nagoya Ramen
95-221 Kipapa Dr, MililaniToday we celebrated a birthday party at Nagoya Ramen. We had a pretty big party (about 18 people, and some babies) the staff was very accommodating and patient with us. They had cute plates for the little ones to use. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. There is a small bakery area that is in the restaurant that never disappoints. The dishes anf combos are pretty reasonably sized. I would 100% return, just give them a heads up about when you plan to show up if having a party over 10 people. Didnt feel any judgment or criticism from staff considering we have a few individuals with disabilities, elderly and being a big family.

95-1249 Meheula Parkway Suite 185, MililaniI've done takeout here before, but it's my first time dining in. My family had the lunch special which was a mix of entrees. I had their Fish Katsu which was delicious. The portions were plentiful. Our service was good. Restaurant was a bit busy but pleasant. I'll probably do takeout moving forward but my dining experience here was great.
