Victory Feeds Hawaii
94-138 Leoleo St #2A, WaipahuI'm very new to chickens since somebody introduced a rooster and hen into our residential neighborhood. I love them! They come every day and seem to go door to door for handouts. Lol. Anyway, I don't have a proper diet for them in my own cupboards. The man at the feed store (sorry I forgot his name) gave advice on the best food for my little family and why he was choosing those particular formulas for their needs. I also picked up a feeder and got advice on how to keep it from being turned over. Can't wait til they come for breakfast this morning! Bonus, he carried the food to my car and loaded it in! Love it when I get great customer service!

Pet Care

Waipio Pet Clinic
94-1040 Waipio Uka St #8, WaipahuRecently, my baby, Kiara, developed blood in her stool. One morning, after the problem got worse, I called but they were booked for the day. But they squeezed me in and problem solved. Over many years (3 dogs), they have been professional and efficient--never have I felt that I was kept waiting unnecessarily. And they seem to enjoy working there, which translates to a very friendly staff.

Arms of Aloha
94-170 Leoleo St, WaipahuMaking the decision to let your beloved pet go is a heart-breaking and often necessary part of sharing your life with fur babies. This is the first time I have been able to utilize euthanasia services in my home, to allow for those last moments to be as peaceful for all of us as possible. Dr. Nuan was very compassionate and understanding and guided us through the process, allowing us to say good-by to our Trixie with dignity and love.

VCA Waipahu Animal Hospital
94-810 Moloalo St #115, WaipahuWhat honestly wonderful people, everyone from the front desk, to the technicians, and the doctors were so kind and accommodating getting all three of my pets in last minute. Dr. Tokayama did a great job explaining her recommendations and caring for them all. My dog is very anxious at the vet and honestly this was the most “relaxed” he’s been in a while. I haven’t had such a great vet experience in a while, and am honestly so grateful for the level of care my animals received. Thank you!

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Da Ultimate Grindz Hawaii
94-256 Waipahu Depot St, WaipahuI usually get a cut around here so I decided to stop by, nice little place in the corner of a small shopping area. You could definitely smell this place as you walk towards it, had an uncle outside cooking up the pork belly.
Service was fast and easy, if you don’t have cash, you have to pay a 3% fee on your card. The tables are clean and have hand sanitizer on each one, but I did notice a smell coming from outside of this place and it’s not this places fault just the area…
Food was really good, hot and fresh. I got the steak and shrimp tempura which was $25 and the pork belly $16 really good too. Definitely would come back.

They have more options on their menu now and was poppin as soon as they opened at 10am. It was a rainy day and everybody was ordering their Beef Pares soup, but we decided to get our go-to Crispy Pork Sisig rice plate. Beautiful and crispy as always!

WAT GET KITCHEN
94-752C Hikimoe St, WaipahuI recently visited WAT GET KITCHEN, and it turned out to be a solid local spot for comforting plate lunch–style food in the Waipahu area. Tucked into a neighborhood location along Hikimoe Street, the restaurant has the kind of casual, community-centered atmosphere that you often find in long-standing local eateries across Oahu. The space is simple and practical, with the focus clearly on serving hearty meals rather than creating a formal dining environment.
The menu centers around familiar local favorites that reflect the multicultural influences of Hawaii’s food culture. Plate lunches, fried rice, noodle dishes, and grilled meats make up much of the selection, offering satisfying portions and bold flavors. The dishes emphasize savory seasoning and generous serving sizes, which are typical of neighborhood plate lunch establishments. The meats were well seasoned and paired with rice and sides that help create a balanced and filling meal.
One of the strengths of WAT GET KITCHEN is the sense of authenticity in the food. The flavors feel rooted in everyday local cooking rather than overly stylized interpretations. Dishes arrive quickly and focus on delivering comfort and satisfaction. While the presentation is simple, the food carries the familiar taste profiles that many residents expect from local-style kitchens.
Service during the visit was friendly and efficient. Orders were prepared at a steady pace, and the staff maintained a welcoming attitude toward customers. The overall experience felt relaxed and straightforward, which fits the style of the restaurant and the expectations of diners looking for a quick, satisfying meal.
The atmosphere reflects the role of the restaurant as a neighborhood gathering place. It is the kind of spot where regulars return often for dependable food and a familiar environment. That sense of community presence adds to the appeal and reinforces its identity as a local favorite.
Overall, WAT GET KITCHEN delivers a dependable and satisfying plate lunch experience with hearty portions, bold local flavors, and friendly service. It may not aim for culinary refinement, but it succeeds at providing comforting meals that reflect the everyday food culture of Hawaii.

Hang's French Coffee & Smoothie
94-226 Leoku St unit 11, WaipahuThis place is incredible. I will be dreaming about these fresh fruit smoothies for the rest of my life until I can come back to get another one. They have fresh fruit right in the case as well as some other snacks. I ordered a mango smoothie and my husband ordered a papaya smoothie. They were both so fresh. They danced along our taste buds like women at a luau. Absolutely delicious. One of the best things we’ve had on this island.
They were very friendly and helpful. 10 out of 10. ???

Mountain Magic Shave Ice
94-817 Lumiaina St, WaipahuHi!
Mountain Magic Shaved Ice is hands-down one of the best dessert spots around. The place is always clean and welcoming, and the shaved ice itself is perfectly prepared—fresh, fluffy, and clearly made with care. The flavors are absolutely wonderful, with so many options that never disappoint no matter what you choose. On top of that, the customer service is truly amazing: friendly, upbeat, and always making sure you leave happy. Mountain Magic never misses—they’re consistent every single time. Honestly, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back every hour because it’s just that good. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a refreshing treat and a great experience.

Pho Bistro & Niu Baguette LLC
94-210 Leokane St Ste #105, WaipahuCame here after church because I was craving oxtail pho. I’m happy that my family and I enjoyed this place because it hit the spot!!! 10/10 would recommend?. We ended up taking our leftovers home to enjoy later because even though it was delicious it’s just a hot day. We will most definitely be back and will recommend this restaurant to others especially our extended family and friends. Fresh, delicious pho and spring rolls. It would be nicer if the air conditioning was on a bit higher because Hawaii is hot and eating hot pho is something else. Thank you to the management also for great service☺️.
