They come every day and seem to go door to door for handouts. Lol. Anyway, I don't have a proper diet for them in my own cupboards. The man at the feed store (sorry I forgot his name) gave advice on the best food for my little family and why he was choosing those particular formulas for their needs. I also picked up a feeder and got advice on how to keep it from being turned over. Can't wait til they come for breakfast this morning! Bonus, he carried the food to my car and loaded it in! Love it when I get great customer service!

She took such good care of him. So when my boyfriend and I adopted a 3 year old American Staffordshire Terrier from HHS, I knew just who to take her too. Merissa takes really good care of our furbabies and she knows how to work with them. I love that she focuses on only 1 dog at a time and that our furbabies aren't in a kennel for countless hours. Happy for you Merissa! Thank you again!

94-877 Farrington Hwy # A, WaipahuMoved to the island with 1 standard poodle and they are awesome with her. She loves going and they always let me know any issues that they find if they see any. Got another standard poodle while in Hawaii and they are great with her too. They let us know what we can do with the puppy to help her be better for future groomings. Both fur babies absolutely love them and love getting to go to the groomers. They are cash only, and reasonably priced (especially for standard poodles). They know what they are doing with poodles which can be hard to find. They do appointments and are always easy to get ahold of.

But they squeezed me in and problem solved. Over many years (3 dogs), they have been professional and efficient--never have I felt that I was kept waiting unnecessarily. And they seem to enjoy working there, which translates to a very friendly staff.

Many hospitals and clinics wanted to charge me extra for same day appointments. and everything was just higher in price in general. Dr. Dunne and staff at hale ola was more concerned about my dog’s well being and was happy to see her. (This was our first time here). They took very good care of us and my dog Moon is doing so much better! They made the entire experience as smooth as possible and gave me easy straight forward directions with aftercare and medications.
I highly recommend coming here!

Dr. Tokayama did a great job explaining her recommendations and caring for them all. My dog is very anxious at the vet and honestly this was the most “relaxed” he’s been in a while. I haven’t had such a great vet experience in a while, and am honestly so grateful for the level of care my animals received. Thank you!

Their mac salad uses spaghetti instead of macaroni, which tastes pretty decent. Pork belly is tasty and cut into small pieces that are easy to chew. The gravy had some delicious herbs in it. They also have other tempting meals, such as lobster rolls, on the menu.

Mountain Magic Shave Ice
94-817 Lumiaina St, WaipahuThis is hands down one of my favorite spots on the island, and the best place to get shave ice on the west side. I've been getting their shave ice since they were a small kiosk near Sports Authority (or Lowe's idr) and they stayed on brand. The shave ice is finely grated, and they offer a variety of flavors. They're also one of the few shave ice spots that place their mochi in the middle and are generous with the amount of syrup, snow cap, and mochi they provide. Over the years, Mountain Magic has gotten very popular (good for them and the business), so expect lines and a longer wait time. The workers are always so friendly too.

We ended up taking our leftovers home to enjoy later because even though it was delicious it’s just a hot day. We will most definitely be back and will recommend this restaurant to others especially our extended family and friends. Fresh, delicious pho and spring rolls. It would be nicer if the air conditioning was on a bit higher because Hawaii is hot and eating hot pho is something else. Thank you to the management also for great service☺️.

Taste Tea Truck

In this summertime heat so whatever I'm doing and today was some retail therapy and as I was shoe shopping and since it's been awhile it had to be tea time and with the other tea spot was flooded with peeps I did a search and was so happy to find a spot with a short drive in the area. Taste Tea is located in Waikele Premium Outlet which is divided in to two section and Taste Tea is located in the area with Lowe's and Old Navy area and is found along the fence and not in the McDonald's food area. This tiny trailer does have it all like any full service store with menu filled with options for me it was the simple "Honey Iced Tea" and with the choice of teas it was Spring Tea my favorite with light sweetness was a nice and refreshing sip. The only downside is there not seating in this area regardless of the freeway vibe and is pretty much a grab and go situation though love the convenience of having this spot with lots of free parking does make very Taste Tea. Thank you!
