160 W Elk Trail, Carol StreamI have a 2.5 year old long haired GSD, and while he gets groomed every 3-4 months this was my first time at Central Bark. Liz, the groomer, was kind and friendly on the phone and answered all of my questions. She didn't judge when I said my pup was dog reactive, and was very understanding and told me how she would accommodate his needs. When I dropped him off I was able to call and make sure no dogs were in the lobby. Since it's a smaller place, it was much less stressful than our usual groomers. They said he did great! I just picked him up and he looks fantastic. So fluffy and perfect. The price was great too. I'm very happy to have found this place and I highly recommend. Thanks, Liz & Central Bark!

The Purple Poodle
565 E St Charles Rd, Carol StreamI will be taking my Newfoundland, golden and my cats to Purple Poodle from now on. They are competent in dealing with shy pets, animals large and small. My cat was very tangled and Madison did an incredible job keeping his coat. He was not stressed after visit. The appt was prompt.

25W510 Geneva Rd, Carol StreamWe have only lived in Illinois for a bit over a year and recently switched from another veterinarian to Village Animal Clinic in Carol Stream. Took our sweet Marley in for some odd coughing and wheezing the other day and she was diagnosed with Bronchitis/Kennel Cough. We have no idea how she got it as she was up to date on shots and is never with other dogs other than her sister. They gave her fluids, did an x-ray to make sure it was not worse than suspected and medications for home. The following day, they texted to check in on her and it was so much appreciated. We finally found our home!!! Thank you so much for being such an amazing office!!

465 Gundersen Dr, Carol StreamAll the staff are very friendly and helpful. The prices are better than other veterinarians, as far as I can tell. Their basic yearly plan pays for itself within 3 visits, which is a great value! It's nice not having to pay for an appointment fee when my cat gets sick or has issues. As with any medical practice, I'd still say to do what you can to save money because typically what the professionals want you to pay for through them you can get for cheaper by yourself or by trying another method altogether, but this practice at least readily provides prices when asked and do not seem to be bothered when patients ask for them, unlike some places that seem to think asking about how much we'll have to pay is rude. They have empathy and you can tell they are real people with their own bills who understand their patients have a valid worry about costs. Their new location also seems to be much nicer and roomier!

Plus, they've got lasagna and eggplant and chicken parm that are delicious and HUGE. It's an eclectic, cool space with lots for rock and roll memorabilia on the walls. It's fast casual, and so the same only downside is plastic cups and forks, etc., but the food is so tasty and affordable, it's hard not to love it.

When we first moved to Glendale Heights 40 years ago there wasn't any good Chinese Restaurants, we would always have to travel further to get go food. Now that Jin28 is in the area it's the only place we get our favorite Chinese food. Food is always good, hot and the service is great. Looking forward to our usual New Years Eve Chinese Food.

I thoroughly enjoyed the saganaki and gyro skillet, along with a cup of regular coffee, and everything was absolutely delicious! The ingredients were of a generous size, allowing one to fully appreciate their flavors! The hash browns were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection! The service provided by Kathy was exceptional! Silvia, the owner, was very friendly at checkout as well! I highly recommend this establishment!

280 Kuhn Rd, Carol StreamOur pup loves to play here! Overall great vibes at this dog park.Our boy goes to the larger dog section, but there is another section for smaller dogs as well. There is a lot of nice open space for the dogs to play as well as some agility course items like a seesaw, pole jump and a tire. Some benches are also scattered throughout the parks for dog parents to sit. There are also doggy waste bags available at the park entrances which is really convenient. Parking is available on either side of the park and there are some porta-potties available to use if you need a restroom.There are usually lots of dogs to play with and the dogs and their owners have been generally very nice. It’s a ton of fun to let our pup play here and make new friends ??
