“Panda Express employees at the NEX were very polite with customers especially one of them Anahi, she told me that they didn’t have anymore of the Chocolate chip chunk cookies at Panda Express and she got me a chocolate chunk cookie later from Dunkin Donuts. She deserves a shoutout or bump in her pay raise or something! She deserves it! Thank you again Anahi for your kindness!”

“I am new in town and stopped for some items. My children mistakenly forgot to take some of the items we purchased and left it in the front. Thank God, We were able to recover it after noticing that we left the items at the store (after 4 days). We talked to Mr. Jay (store manager) was professional and courteous and respectful, thank you for believing in the customer sir and we will definitely be coming to your store more because of your actions. We appreciate people like you and have a blessed one.”
“The Beach Park Target is always clean and organized. The associates are friendly and helpful, if you need it. I especially like shopping there at Christmas. There are so many fun, unique things to get for stocking stuffers.”
“I have avoided this store for a long time because it used to be such a disorganized mess. But I went in for an Amazon return and was pleasantly surprised to see that everything was tidy, the employees were pleasant and merchandise was organized and easy to find. Julia in the Sephora section was especially helpful. My only problem was that there was only a limited selection of clothes in my size. Overall, a positive experience!”

Food items not always as fresh as one would expect - i guess that is when they are moved to clearance.
Clearance aisle are extremely disorganized and messy.
They keep on moving items all over the store that many times one can't actually find what they saw a week ago.
The staff at the cash register are pleasant and helpful. Yet, the floor associates, mixed attitudes and friendliness.
Many of their prices are no longer compatible.
Price stickers / labels on plastic items (and on other items) don't peel off easily and leave stickiness (even if used under boiling hot water).
The store/s must find a better way of doing it.
Generally, the stores are nice (Especially the ones in Vernon Hills and in Mundelein, IL.”
“This place has a good selection, but it is really overwhelming and unorganized. We went on a Saturday but there were no carts anywhere to be found.
Also was hard to find a person that worked there to help, and while there is a larger selection at the combined store it was really congested. It just seemed like there was a lot of unorganization and disarray. Now this could be because we went on a Saturday, but Ive been to a lot of stand alone Home Goods and it didnt feel the same.”
“We love our JC Penney! Good selection at decent prices. Have been going to the hair salon for a long time. And they always have plenty of retro t shirts for sale. Would rather buy clothes in a real store vs online returning it a million times cuz it doesn't fit. Give Penney's a try!”

“It's a bit of a mess in this Super Target (recovering from Black Friday I guess). I could not find any holiday tablecloths. A Target team member directed me to the area and I later found a few vinyl ones in the Magnolia section but they were too small. The store is pretty quiet now and I found the ginormous candy bars for my white elephant exchange! Lots of candy, feathery friends, so many gingerbread houses (even a Target one - how meta!), and plenty of ornaments, etc.”
“Its a real dollar store where everything really is $1. I hate the ones that you go in thinking its a $1 store but its not. (I think family dollar is one of those phony imposters. If I'm wrong about that then I apologize FD but I'm pretty sure it was you.)”
“I'm happy to say that with today's visit I reclaimed the Dukedom of Target, Highland Park. You may now address me as Your Grace. I surveyed every corner of my duchy, and I must say, it was in fine form today. I particularly liked how the Easter confections and bakery items were prominent and upfront. The coolers and freezer cases were well-stocked. I found the Royal Beverage, thee Diet Coke, in its usual place. I also perused thee Easter Squishmallows down yonder thoroughfare and marveled at the marvelous selection of Messrs Hershey, Ferrero, Ghirardelli and Reese. Hear Hear! Actually, there there! My loyal retainers, thee Target employees, were resplendent in their red livery. They did a fine and efficient job of scanning my merch. “I love how well stocked this location can be versus other, it’s close to the house, as well (swim tops/bottoms- hit or miss, today a miss).
They are short staffed-
Checking out, was a negative turned positive- It was unfortunate, I was in line 7, and “Faith” was unwilling to assist us, pushing us to the back for this really long self check out. Gwen was able to assist us next. She had a professional, willingness to assist, and built rapport with us, through explaining our negative experience. She put a smile on our faces leaving, she and the curly head pharmacist are the reason, this review isn’t a 1…”

“Many items available at $1.25. This is a must stop especially at Christmas time for gift wrapping supplies including gift boxes. Ornaments for the tree or decor, and other harder to find products.
Only drawback is a shortage of help at checkout. Store usually crowded during weekdays. Other handy household items available all year long.”

“I am so glad there is a one-stop shop at affordable prices near me. One problem is the "new" configuration of the parking lot. There are so many spots reserved for drive up. Half the lot, it seemed is reserved for drive up. Once inside, items are relatively easy to find if they are in stock. Staff is a little harder to find. Checkout is easy depending on the day and time. Go later for less people traffic.”

“I have been coming to this exchange for ~35 years, since my mother who is navy veteran, took me here when I was little. Everything is clean, well organized, and modestly priced. There is one thing that stands out every time I go there: Dean. Dean checks the IDs at the door and greets the guests. He is kind, honest, diligent, and reflects positively on the NEX and the sea services as a whole. Dean always appreciates veterans of all ages, from freshly minted sailors to elderly retirees. I look forward to seeing Dean when I go shopping at NEX. Please commend this man.”
