8450 Waukegan Rd, Morton GroveI am not a client here, but I did look into taking my cats here on two occasions. Once when my vet was shut down during COVID, and then again when I was comparing area vet practices' stances on declawing. Both the front desk and the vet here seem very friendly and patient. They provided medical advice in the first case and assured me that they do NOT declaw in the second, which I was glad to hear. The only reasons I'm not currently a client here are because it's comparatively far away and because my current vet also opposes declawing. But I would feel totally comfortable bringing my fur babies here. (Note to cat guardians: The AAHA has shamefully refused to ban declawing among its members, so just because your vet is AAHA certified doesn't necessarily mean they're ethical. Check to find out before you give them your money!)

I have ordered many cakes from them. All have been great.
Even if you order them ahead of time. They seem to make your orders, so they finish them at the agreed order date. Always very fresh.
Their chocolate Ganache cake is a fan favorite whenever I order that. I personally like their strawberry vanilla cream cake. T
heir donuts are also good if your looking for a morning or weekend treat.
Same with their huge variety of cookies.
Lucky to have such a nice bakery in town.

9428 Waukegan Rd, Morton GroveWe definitely ordered more than our family could eat from our first Cultura Subs visit, but it was such a welcome treat. Some standouts for me were the steak jibarito, the Philly cheesesteak, and the shawarma bowl. The staff also gave us a freebie which was so thoughtful of them! I think it was an app, but I honestly didn't get to try it since my partner devoured it before I got a chance. No matter, we were stuffed regardless! We ordered takeout, and the food was still hot when we tucked in. I can only imagine the menu is even better in person. If you're in the mood for some cultural crossover cuisine, I highly recommend Cultura Subs if you're in the area!

Pequod's Pizza
8520 Fernald Ave, Morton GroveWe drove almost an hour to get here, and I have to say we had a really nice experience. The pizza and wings were very good and the Ceasar Salad was decent. Just being there felt like an old school 80s neighborhood bar with all around great service and cool atmosphere. I will definitely be a returning customer.
