8450 Waukegan Rd, Morton GroveI am not a client here, but I did look into taking my cats here on two occasions. Once when my vet was shut down during COVID, and then again when I was comparing area vet practices' stances on declawing. Both the front desk and the vet here seem very friendly and patient. They provided medical advice in the first case and assured me that they do NOT declaw in the second, which I was glad to hear. The only reasons I'm not currently a client here are because it's comparatively far away and because my current vet also opposes declawing. But I would feel totally comfortable bringing my fur babies here. (Note to cat guardians: The AAHA has shamefully refused to ban declawing among its members, so just because your vet is AAHA certified doesn't necessarily mean they're ethical. Check to find out before you give them your money!)

They made a cake for my husband's birthday on fairly short notice that was beautiful, better than expected, and delicious! The cream and fruit filling were fresh and not too sweet but honestly the actual cake itself, even though it was just vanilla, was so light and airy. I've never had cake like this! Definitely recommend supporting this wonderful business and will be back for more!

8520 Fernald Ave, Morton GroveHo-lee-shit, we had dinner at Pequod's Pizza tonight and I am insanely impressed by the quality of this deep dish. Dough is amazing, cheese is high quality, and all of our ingredients were fresh and fantastic. We had strong drinks, and some nice garlic cheese bread. Pequod's lived up to this foodie's expectations, despite me being a critic about deep dish at times. Just wow, what a meal! I will make sure I come back every single time I return to Chicago. Don't miss out on seeing and tasting this iconic Chicago spot. Also Pete is a great waiter, request him!
