1428 Butterfield Road, MundeleinI have a nearly 12 year old Australian Cattle dog who is very stubborn about doing things she doesn't want to do, including having her nails trimmed. She had a bad case of overgrown nails. The groomers at the Pet Parlor handled her with great care and stayed committed to getting the job done even when it required putting a cone on her when she turned into an aggressive werewolf. They have open hours for nail trims between 2 and 4, Tuesday through Thursday. I really appreciated their professionalism and outstanding work. I will absolutely be back.

Dog Gone Dirty
12 N Parliament Way, MundeleinOur dog stayed with Ryan over a 9 day spring break vacation. Ryan texted us pictures and let us know our fur baby was thriving.
There was a possible medical issue and Ryan immediately called to discuss what he saw our dog experience and confirm next steps. Luckily everything was fine!
I highly recommend Ryan for overnight sitting.
This was our first ever dog boarding experience and it was fantastic!

21198 West Commercial Drive, MundeleinWe have been taking our 2 dogs to Gilmer Pet Hospital for over a year and highly recommend it! Dr Thomas takes great care of our dogs. One of our dogs has trust issues with humans, and Dr Thomas spent time with him to calm him down and gain his trust. Dr Thomas also asks great questions to make sure the vaccines we give our dogs makes sense, which saves us money! Definitely care more about our dogs than the bottom line.

403 Washington Blvd Ste 1, Mundelein***Update*** My dog has been been going to K-9 Play Time for over 2 years now. She goes to daycare during the week and has boarded there when we go out of town. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the folks at K-9 Play Time. I'm one of those crazy dog moms and I am completely at ease trusting my dog in their care. I'm so thankful for the warmth and caring that they show to my dog.

1490 South Lake Street, MundeleinIt was my first time here and I was so nervous, The line was out the door. There was a lot of dogs different sizes. Everybody here was kind and the frosted nuts are underrated. I didn’t know this was on the top 10 list of best soft serve in the United States of America. I decided to follow my heart, and I got the chocolate custard with peanut butter sauce and raspberry sauce. It hit the spot. Everybody was happy and I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area.

25792 N Midlothian Rd, MundeleinGilmer Road House is excellent and their staff is a treasure, especially Robin. The thin crust pizza at Gilmer is awesome and one of the best in the area. Other items on the menu are good as well, but the pizza is fire. Gilmer Road House is a bar that happens to serve great food and it’s not fancy nor does it pretend to be. It’s a neighborhood institution that has been around for decades.

Labrador and Labradoodle Puppies Chicago
21385 IL-60, MundeleinWe had a great experience working with Mike and adopting our 8 month old puppy Maple. He spent a lot of time with us and helped us pick the right dog for our family. He is also just a very compassionate and caring person who loves what he does, and it shows every time you interact with him.
We had a few concerns with some adjustment behaviors in the beginning, but these were very brief, and Mike was always available to talk through things and provide helpful advice. A couple weeks later, Maple adjusted beautifully and has since been a very happy, playful, bouncy, friendly, and curious puppy. She's great with kids and other dogs. We are very impressed with how smart she is, how much she loves swimming in the lake and fetching (we know she had no experience with this previously), and how quickly she is learning. We've never had a labradoodle before (always rescued mutts), and you can tell these dogs are different/special in a really good way. Just about everywhere we go, people comment on how great she is. We are very happy with our experience!
