555 E Townline Rd Ste 5, Vernon HillsWe were seen the same day on a Sunday for an emergency exam and were helped immediately. The doctor and her staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our dog received the medication he needed, and we weren’t charged anything extra. We also didn’t have to wait at all — we literally walked in, got helped, and walked out. That kind of service is amazing these days. Highly recommend!

1115 N Milwaukee Ave, Vernon HillsWe haven't been to Lazy Dog in years. And we were pleasantly reminded of why we need to put it on our regular rotation. The new menu for summer has so many delightful surprises on it. We tried the crispy deviled eggs which were really crispy and very different, but in a very good way. We also tried the baked feta cheese with hot honey with grilled bread. Oh, my goodness. Our server had recommended that one, and it was really good. Lots of layers of flavor - not too hot, even my husband would eat it and he's not a spicy guy. I had the spring pea rigatoni with zucchini, spinach, peas, burrata and a lovely cream sauce. Hubby had fried chicken dinner with the most gorgeous vegetable melange I have ever seen. He didn't eat it, so I brought it home to enjoy later. We also brought home enough for dinner for the rest of the week, because there was just so much food, but everything we tried was good. The only disappointing thing was the chicken tikka masala meatballs starter because the meatballs were actually tough. I think they were overworked. The sauce was delicious. The spice was good, but the meatballs themselves were really tough which was surprising since everything else was so good. We'll definitely go back. There were many other things on the menu that I want to try. Our server Joe was absolutely great. He waited to put our entree orders in until after we were halfway done with the appetizers, which we really appreciated. We'll definitely go back.
