“This was my first time ever walking into this store. I never went in because I thought it was a bunch of knockoff stuff but I was wrong. This store has everything I need for sports. I’m a BIG Chicago fan and I know out of all these stores in Woodfield mall, this store has the most variety of stuff to choose from. I would always shop at Lids because of their coupons. I’m hoping this store has the same sales or coupons like their competitors. But I will definitely make this my to go to sports store. Also, I was very impressed by how nice the staff was. “I got there at 6:45 pm and they stay past their closing time. They did not rush me at all we finished at 7:20 pm. I thought they closed at 8 pm. But they close at 7 pm. That is great customer service. Thank You staff.”
“Marissa was absolutely wonderful. My 6yo daughter has exceptionally high sensory feelings on the top of her feet. It's extremely hard to buy shoes for her. Even brands that offer Wide Width don't always miss that zone on the top of the foot by the toes and she just can't wear them. Vans collaborated with Kpop Demon Hunters and my kids wanted them sooo bad.
Was able to get their sizes and when I brought them home .... Like I feared, she wouldn't be able to wear them. I went back to the store to return them with daughter in hand to try on other shoes praying we could find something that she would be able to wear.
I explained my concern to Marissa and she absolutely understood and patiently went through box after box after box after box with not even a hint of frustration (a pure Saint). She found a high top that was even in the Kpop DH collection in a different size to give her that extra wiggle room (Thank you @Vans for being one of the few brands to offer 1/2 sizes) and that smile my daughter had when they fit and were comfortable is the reason us parents will go out of the way for. That smile was everything! Thank you, Marissa for having such patience and understanding with the dedication to help us get a pair of shoes today. It meant the world to me!”

“Shoutout to Adam! I worked here in ‘16 and could not be more happier to have been a part of the team. I made a super sale within my first week and really was grateful to be a part of the team. Their clothing runs a little smaller, it’s a British take on Japanese Americana apparel. Be happy to explore the store—they have so many different varieties of clothes here that you won’t be disappointed. Both shirts I’m wearing are an XL and I am 5’10 and 161 lbs in this second pic for reference. First pic is from when I worked there. Second is today.”
“This Macy’s has always been one of my favorite stores at Woodfield Mall, even dating back to when it was Marshall Field’s. It’s a great anchor store with a wide selection and a layout that makes it easy to spend time browsing.
The store is three stories, so you can find a little bit of everything—from clothing and shoes to makeup, handbags, and home goods. I especially love the purse and shoe selection here, which always seems to have a great variety of styles.
One of my regular stops is the Clinique counter. It’s my go-to for skincare products, and I’ve always had good experiences there when shopping for face care.
The only small downside is that the perfume counters can sometimes feel a bit pushy, but that’s fairly typical for most department stores. It doesn’t take away from the overall experience.
Overall, this Macy’s location has a great selection, plenty to explore, and it’s always a store I enjoy visiting when I’m at Woodfield Mall.”
“I was here the other day, and the staff was so helpful and kind! Two employees, one i didnt get the name of but it was a red haired girl, and I asked the blonde haired girl for her name and it was Phoenix! Both were super helpful and Phoenix went the extra mile for me. She helped me find just the perfect gifts for my daughter, since I didn’t have much style myself! Looking forward to my next visit!”
“I went into the Schaumburg Buckle to buy a new pair of jeans, and it was my first time shopping there for myself. I was immediate greeted by Michael, who jumped into finding me a pair that would work for me. He and a female associate were very patient while I was trying to decide what size I should buy and if I should hem. They are not cheap jeans after all. Ultimately I took their advice and washed the jeans before deciding to hem, which made them fit perfect. They were very helpful, patient, knowledgeable, and I love these jeans. Great store and employees, and I will be back.”

She did such a good job, she suggested me a gift for everyone in my family I came to Lululemon just to browse because i know that is very popular in young people but I did not know what to buy, she had me buy everything for different age people in my family, i brought few bags, shoes jackets and every winter coats, everyone loved there presents, I am writing this email because this employee is a star, she asked me few questions about what are the people like and found me perfect presents. she was so patient and so nice to me. I want there store manager to know she deserves a shoutout I would always come to store now and find her, and i told about her to all my friends and family. “I walked into that store hoping to feel the fabrics so I knew what to order online. As a person in a fat body I did not expect to feel welcome in the store. I was very wrong! I was greeted by TWO employees in body types like mine and I knew they would be help to help me with important questions about fit, wicking, etc. I didn’t feel out of place! The store did have some things in my size. Those girls were so helpful, easy to work with and fun too! They really made my shopping experience amazing. Representation matters!!!

“I was told that if I wrote a review, I’d receive a pair of earrings. I was initially happy to do it, but then I overheard what sounded like the owner on the phone rudely asking, “is that woman still standing?” while Ramya responded, “yes, yes, she is buying,” and I felt like I was being watched on camera. That made me uncomfortable, so I declined the earrings and even considered deleting this review.
I also didn’t appreciate the $25 fee just to try on a dress if you don’t end up purchasing it. I had every intention of buying, but that policy almost made me walk away. Since I was only visiting Chicago for a few hours and had already taken an Uber to get there, I ended up making a purchase anyway and paid $430, even though I didn’t really have the time to keep looking around. The fee of 25$ for trying on a dress was anything I have ever heard like .the owner asking rudely on phone .
That said, Ramya herself was very kind and sweet, and I appreciated her attitude. However, because of the overall experience, I don’t think I’ll return or recommend this place to my friends.”
