“Our go-to spot! My husband, son, and I are all runners and have long trusted Xtra Mile with all our running needs. The selection is great, the staff is engaged and knowledgeable, and the prices are fair. My son especially loves talking shop with the people working. It's evident that they care about their customers when they ask him about his goals for cross country and track and offer advice and encouragement for the season ahead. Thanks Xtra Mile for being such a great resource for the runners in our community!”

“This is the kind of tennis store you’re looking for! Now confession I used to manage a very busy pro shop just outside of New York City so I am calibrated for this kind of experience. But the shop hits all of its spots! I got the top brands and a full inventory. Now you should know that prices are largely fixed by the manufacturers these days, so it really will benefit you to shop local. If you are striking the rock, swinging in the sticks, or getting ready to grind out three sets start here.”

“I highly recommend Big River Footwear to anyone looking for the right fit of shoes. I have been fortunate to have worked with Mike and Luis who gave me personalized recommendations based on my foot issues and how I move. They take time to listen to your needs and let you try different styles to find your true fit. I found both Mike and Luis to be very knowledgeable when it comes to pain in feet and what shoes work best for what condition. I look forward to coming back and love that I can walk in, tell them what I need and walk out with great supportive shoes!”

“To me, this is the best discount store. It is always organized and clean, and best of all the checkout line is reasonable, unlike those huge lines that form at other stores in the chain.”

“I have been to other Play it Again Sports in the past but have never had such a great experience as I did at this location. I came in twice and worked with Connor and he was amazing. I bought a set of clubs for my son and came back looking for mine. Connor walked us through what they had and some options and was very knowledgeable and great to work with. Good service is rare these days so want to call out the Schaumburg location and especially Connor for his help. Will be referring others to this location as well. Thank you.”

“This store is so cute. I was gifted a backpack a year ago and finally went in to get it embroidered on Black Friday, nonetheless. I left it while I shopped around the mall. The staff was friendly and very efficient. If you have a cheerleader, you need to go check out the merch at the Cheer Shoppe!!!”

“It’s a bit of a drive for me but worth it. I contemplated saving money by ordering online but… they always make sure the fit is right for the style /age needed on dance shoes. Prices are very reasonable for quality products. Every time I leave I’m always glad I stopped in and feel confident in my purchases!”

“I wanted to take a moment to recognize Roe for the excellent customer service he provided during my visit. A particular pair of pants caught my attention while I was shopping, but I was having a difficult time finding exactly what I was looking for. Roe immediately stepped in and offered to help. What really stood out to me was how genuinely willing he was to assist. At no point did he make me feel like I was bothering him or inconveniencing him. Roe took the time to help me find exactly what I wanted and made sure I was taken care of before I left the store. His friendliness, attentiveness, and willingness to go the extra mile made a real difference in my shopping experience. You don’t always come across employees who make customers feel this valued and comfortable asking for help. Roe is an excellent representation of what great customer service should look like, and I hope management recognizes him for it. Employees like Roe deserve recognition!”

“Had a very pleasant today at this location. We usually shop at the Orland Park location, but decided to make the drive out here today. The store was crowded but employees were moving around fast. Our cashier, Zeynep D. was very helpful and friendly, she asked us if we needed gift receipts and even stapled them to each one of our items so they didn't get mixed up. Friendly employees and line moves quick. Great location!”

“We had a great experience here! John and Max were extremely helpful getting all of our camping gear checked out and paid for. They helped picking the right lantern and sleeping bags for our trip. And helped us get our tent ordered through the online service. My son also had a blast climbing while we worked on all of this. Five stars – thanks for the help to the climbing crew, John, and Max”
