As a server, I’m in and out of the bank regularly to deposit tips, and this young woman, who worked on Saturday morning, 3/29/25, always brightens my day! Not only is she always so kind and attentive, but she remembers the little things that make a big difference. I often bring my dog with me, and she always makes sure to grab a treat for her. Even on the days when my dog isn't with me, she still remembers and brings me a treat, showing just how thoughtful and considerate she is. “Best bank I have ever had! They have been so helpful during our time here (recently moved in from out of town). They were very patient and informative when walking us through getting our first mortgage. They even reached out when we hadn’t out of ignorance. This helped us lock in a lower interest rate as they were set to go up within days. To me that says a lot about their integrity and care for their customers. The blame could have easily fallen on us and the bank clearly stands to benefit from us paying a higher interest rate. I haven’t even mentioned all the great features/services they have available, and I love banking locally.”

The Northwest Bank staff were able to set up checking and savings accounts and transfer funds in quickly. We then secured a business loan to purchase a commercial building and then another to support operations. I’ve been able to meet with staff to talk about strategic growth and current and future needs. At every step, the tellers, the loan managers and even the bank President have been fantastic! “I have personally banked with GICU for over 20 years. The staff are always friendly and supportive. I have had personal and mortgage loans through them, debit and credit cards, vehicle loans, and they always have competitive rates. Whenever issues have risen, they promptly correct them. I really like the mobile app showing you your pending charges immediately online. Other banks take days to post them. It just makes it easier to track my finances for me. Will remain a loyal customer to this credit union.”
