“Love this little market. I got cancer a few years ago, so I prefer organic meats, fruit and produce but they also have some amazing snacks. The Almond pudding and Honey Mama's are a must try. “The store was pretty bare when I visited, but I think it is the only Afghan market in the area so I wish them well. It was hard to find at first because they don't have a large sign like other businesses do. I thought they were non-existent when I arrived!
Hopefully they start to offer more. I hear they are opening a restaurant.”

I'm wondering, though, if they're open til 11 pm like Google says. I went in about a month ago and asked that question, and the person said they close the gates and send the cashiers home, but customers are still able to get stuff from the wine and spirits section if they ask.
I got off work late today and was told that once the gates were down, they don't even have the keys to open them back up (which makes me ask how they lock in the first place, but ok). So, in effect, wine and spirits closes at 10 pm.”

“This is becoming my go to location more and more. I live closer to the Windsor Heights store, but it's been going downhill quickly. After the revamp of the floor and shelving I was hoping the Windsor Heights location was going to be better. Nope. The West Des Moines location is consistently clean, well organized, and well stocked. It definitely makes the few more mile drive worth it. Kind of sad that I'd rather drive to this store or Grimes than to do business with the one closest to my home.”

“Yikes! The parking lot!!! I shouldn't go on Fridays. Of the weekends. Very busy. I just moved to town and used to shop at the Coralville Iowa trader Joe's and even when it was busy it didn't feel this crowded. I'll put up with it because I love this store.”
