“We arrived and were promptly met by store staff. My son is 24 and 6’5” and largely only shops at DXL. The gentleman who helped him was courteous and was able to help my son while I was able to relax in a comfortable chair. Being the mom, I didn’t have much input but was able to hear the back and forth between my son and the store staff member. Unfortunately I don’t know his name but I can say he was phenomenal. “My daughter and I visited the SoftMoc store in Jordan Creek Mall in Des Moines for the first time. I was very pleased with their huge selection and style of shoes! The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. Thank you Kelcie for going above and beyond to make sure I received the shoes, style and size that I needed and for helping me get signed up for the SoftMoc Rewards that I could use anytime!! Even when the store got busier, Kelcie and staff helped the customers, Kelcie checked on me making sure I was taken care of. My girlfriend and I walked in, and were greeted with a smile by a woman who introduced herself as Dawn, and asked how she could help.We told her what we needed (shoes where my girlfriend could be on her feet for a long period of time), and Dawn happily took us to a quiet place in the store and brought us a few options. She wasn't pushy, she didn't overwhelm us. She was perfect. We found a very comfortable pair of shoes and were totally satisfied, and we were even talking about coming back before we left! “There is a woman who works in this store that deserves all the glory for that store. I visited the store before Christmas and in chatting with her it became clear she was the sole person running the store that day. She helped me with a friendly attitude and no complaints and even got me a better deal than online. Cut to a few weeks later I needed to exchange some shoes that I lost the receipt for during my holiday wrapping, same woman helped me and same great attitude. There was a male working as well with long hair that was helpful too. It’s clear the store could use some more help though to make the lives of the current employees a little better.”
