“Our original rental car had a few drawbacks - severely worn floor mat, noisy inefficient windshield wipers, and a fussy transmission. I wasn’t comfortable with it and emailed the site manager to request a different car. Austin Bosley replied within minutes and told me to bring it back any time and exchange it for a new vehicle of my choosing.
That afternoon I drove it back to the Rental Car Center at CVG, asked for Austin. He couldn’t have been nicer, and offered us an upgraded car, which we enjoyed for the rest of our visit.”

“Very good experience, the only inconvenience was that the GPS volume was very low and couldn't hear it but could see the image on the screen which helped while driving. But being able to hear it would have been better.”

“Rented a 5 seater car for a week in Cincinnati. Pick up and drop off was smooth. I paid for it in advance before pick up and line was short. Was a pleasant experience overall”
“I'm leaving this review because I saw all the one-star reviews AFTER I had reserved a 12-passenger van through Expedia, and I thought I had made a terrible mistake. I was so stressed and made phone calls and even showed up at the car rental counter the evening prior to when I needed the van just to confirm there actually was a van and it would be in good condition the next day. Good news--everyone I spoke with in person was very nice and competent. There was always an employee at the Avis counter (which owns Payless) and the line only had one person ahead of me both times. The Chevy van I was given was very nice, clean, no smell of cigarettes, and we had zero complaints about it! In fact, I would definitely recommend renting a 12-passenger van from Payless, as I saw two brand new-looking Ford vans in the lot as well. Docking a star only for the poor phone communication--the Payless number routed to Avis and the two employees I spoke with couldn't understand my concern, kept trying to offer pickup from a different location, and I eventually had to hang up on them.”

“The only problem that I ever had with National Car Rental is that when you pick up the car they always make sure that the tank is full and the car is washed however they NEVER wash the window inside and when you are driving and the sun hits windshield it will blind you if they just would take the time to clean the inside of the windshield I could give them 5 star rating”
