“After going to the Jeep dealership, I was told that I not only needed to repair the entire racket pinion, but the parts needed to repair my wheel alignment was not going to be covered under my extended warranty. We immediately called Chris, the Mechanic, at Mavis Tires and Brakes on Essen in Baton Rouge! He informed me that the entire racket pinion did not need to be repaired. The only part that needed to be repaired was the bent interod. We immediately set up an appointment to get the part ordered and to get my car in to be repaired.

This man is truly honest, will not just follow the crowd like others, is very ethical and works with integrity and we appreciated that from the bottom of our heart. Everything was set up quickly. “Excellent place to get your car repaired. From the receptionist, very knowledgeable, at the service counter to the sales men in the back office and the mechanics. Everyone made sure my car left repaired. Went in for an ac repair, where I was quoted all kinds of different repair options from other shops, and left not only getting it fixed i included my cv joints and struts. I must have come in on a great day because they were able to repair it all in a day. Great job Mr. Henry...Another good thing was payment trapped on cash.. (make sure you pay it off on time)”
“Gary the store manager is always ready to help. His customer service is above and beyond. Going to replace anything for a car is a scary experience in this day and age, but Mr. Gary did all he could do to find the best deal.
Recently, I stopped by the Coursey store again to find a new store manager, Mr. Cordell and shop manger, Sean. Unexpected flats and repairs are never relaxing! But the Cordell saw my stress about finances and getting to work. The manager hunted down the best price for the needed tires and invited me to come back anytime I had a concern. Sean, the shop manger gave me a great deal on a needed oil change. While repairs are rarely inexpensive and concerning, this staff has always taken time and bent over backwards to help make an inconvenient time a bit more comforting. They listen and hear the customer and help get you back on the road in the most cost effective way they can, honestly!”
