“I spent $189 on an oil change here. I know that sounds pretty expensive, but that’s because this oil change was different. I learned that oil pipes need to be cleaned out. My oil was slugging around like silly putty inside of my engine. Also, it was dark brown when it’s actually supposed to be yellow. So they offered me a cleaning solution which I couldn’t turn down. And I’m glad I didn’t. My engine ran better as soon as that cleanse was done. It was about $60 more than the average oil change by itself. However, my oil pipes have not been cleaned since 2012. And it cleaned out all the gunk that was in there since then. Even since driving Lot it has felt different. The engine just wants to push hard harder and I feel it even when pushing the pedal that the engine is going smoother. Next time you go to any place to change your oil, ask them if they can clean out the previous oil it adds about 15 minutes to the oil change, but it is worth it to clean out any old excess oil that has built up and stuck to the engine pipes. Think of it as the same way hair gets stuck in the drain in the bathtub there’s also other dirt and grime that gets stuck in those pipes that makes the water drain slow slower. So make sure to clean out your engine oil pipes, so your engine can run smoother. And also their service here was very fast. I can’t say every day that their service is perfect because I’m not there every day but when I was there at around 5 PM, there was nobody in line and they were able to start my service Quickly. The payment process was smooth and they were very polite. If I’m ever in the Baton Rouge area again, I will be coming here to Jiffy Lube. I’ve been to Walmart service center for an oil change and they ended up not even putting enough oil in my truck Leaving me having to put extra oil into my truck because the oil level was low. And that oil change at Walmart was $25. I’m not gonna say you get what you pay for because even though they offer their oil changes for $25 at Walmart it doesn’t mean that that means put less oil in my engine than what is required for my vehicle. If they want to give Do their oil changes for less money they still need to do it properly. What charged the actual price that an oil change cost because Not just paying for labor you’re paying for the oil itself also so just charge a little more Walmart instead of trying to mess up my engine.”

“After going to the Jeep dealership, I was told that I not only needed to repair the entire racket pinion, but the parts needed to repair my wheel alignment was not going to be covered under my extended warranty. We immediately called Chris, the Mechanic, at Mavis Tires and Brakes on Essen in Baton Rouge! He informed me that the entire racket pinion did not need to be repaired. The only part that needed to be repaired was the bent interod. We immediately set up an appointment to get the part ordered and to get my car in to be repaired.
When I tell you Chris, the Mechanic, was knowledgeable, transparent, real and immediately repaired my vehicle. “I had an amazing experience with High Tech Car Care! I originally took my Toyota Corolla to the dealership for an oil change, an A/C issue, and a wheel bearing problem. The dealership wanted to charge me around $1,200 just to replace the rear wheel bearing, and that didn’t even include fixing my A/C or the oil change.
I decided to take my car to High Tech Car Care instead, and I’m so glad I did! Before he even laid eyes on my car, he had a good idea of what the issue was. Once he inspected it, he actually brought me to the back and physically showed me everything that was wrong before removing or replacing anything. I really appreciated that level of honesty and transparency.
He ended up fixing EVERYTHING that was wrong with my car for way less than half of what the dealership would have charged me for just one repair! On top of that, he got me in the same day and had all of the repairs completed in less than 3 hours.
