Pet Stores & Supplies
Two Salty Dogs Pet Outfitters
22 McKown St, Boothbay HarborTwo Salty Dogs is a small pet supply store run by people who ACTUALLY own dogs and use the products they sell. They can make first hand recommendations. Their prices are fair for the high quality products they sell. I have had many direct conversations with the owner, Don, either view email or in person where he has helped me in every way possible. Even though we have moved well out of the area now, we still regularly make online purchases of products we *could* get other places. Plus, Don will make you laugh (if you have a sense of humor).

Brisetto's Second Cup
41 Commercial St, Boothbay HarborGreat coffee and selection. I tried a hot lavender white mocha and I loved it.The second floor is really nice here. There are some cozy seats near the books to sit, read, and relax. Or there are the window seats with a gorgeous view. The book selection is great! Stephen King, of course, but also lots of fun gay books and more.

Footbridge Brewery
25 Granary Way, Boothbay HarborA must visit spot for dinner & a drink.I don’t even know where to start. We arrived a little later in the day and the kitchen had already closed for the night but that didn’t stop the owner Michael from going back into the kitchen and whipping us up a platter on the house. When I say he came out with a tray full of food I mean, damn. Two bowls of Mac & cheese, a half rack of ribs, a basket of wings and a basket of poppers which he insisted were free of charge. The food was magnificent (the best ribs I have ever f%#king had), the beer was awesome & Michael and the bartender were and absolute treat to talk with.I can’t recommend this place enough & I will make sure to always stop at this place if I’m ever in the area of boothbay again.

The Carousel Marina / The Whale's Tale & Seafarer's Pub
125 Atlantic Ave, Boothbay HarborAt Whale’s Tale on Wednesday music and good vibes rule!! I wandered through Booth Bay in search of an authentic Maine musical and gastronomic adventure and so I stumbled on the news in an online site , called, and found out that open mic Wednesday with Dave Gagne was about to begin. A great intimate group of pretty darn good musicians were a treat to all. Dave is a talented and generous host who makes all us singer/songwriters feel welcome. and appreciated . And with Jersey Man behind the bar and great food ( I had haddock tacos) Whale’s Tale checks every box!!!

Downeast Ice Cream Factory
1 By-Way, Boothbay HarborIf you're an ice cream lover, then Downeast Ice Cream Factory in Boothbay Harbor is a must-visit! Nestled in this charming town, this gem of a shop offers a delightful adventure with its array of over 50 ice cream flavors, each more tantalizing than the last.During my recent visit, I indulged in three exquisite flavors: peanut butter, chocolate, and pistachio. Each scoop was a masterpiece of creamy texture and rich, authentic taste. The peanut butter was perfectly balanced, not too overpowering; the chocolate was luxuriously smooth and decadently dark; and the pistachio was wonderfully nutty and refreshingly natural, without the artificial tinge that often mars this flavor elsewhere. The staff at Downeast Ice Cream Factory are as sweet as the treats they serve. Their passion for ice cream is evident in every detail, from the carefully crafted flavors to the cheerful service. This place not only serves ice cream—it serves joy.I'm already planning my next visit to try more of their flavors. If you find yourself in Boothbay Harbor, do not miss the chance to experience this splendid ice cream paradise. Highly recommend for anyone looking to satisfy their sweet tooth with quality and creativity!

Mine Oyster
16 Wharf St #1, Boothbay HarborAn older place, but comfortable and clean. Nice view. Our meals were amazing! Fresh haddock, and plenty of it, fried to perfection. My mom had scallops and shrimp, and my husband had a margherita pizza. All meals were wonderful. Will definitely go back. The staff were so helpful, especially with my 93 year old mother.
