We want to give a shout out specially to Rockville Branch manager Anna Cardenas, who was so extraordinarily helpful to us this week in dealing with a bunch of paperwork and account updates we needed to get done. She was professional but friendly and personable, and had lots of patience as well! We also do wish, though, that NIH Credit Unions would reinstate masking policies, especially in this time of COVID and FLU surge.”

“I absolutely love this bank!!! Their mobile app is the easiest app to pay my bills from. It's easy to organize, set up, and maintain. I was surprised to find that they have Interest rates comparable to online savings accounts! Talk about something that made me move my money! I also love the staff at every Industrial Bank - especially my neighborhood bank on Good Hope and MLK. They are quick to answer questions about their products and have given me a great deal of information on how to set up my business account and how to maximize my personal accounts. If you are looking for a brick and mortar bank that has the interest rate that you can only find online and has the customer service needed when you're trying to understand financial products this is your place! As a person that has worked with larger banks, credit unions and online banks I have to say that industrial Bank is the first bank that I actually felt the need to write a positive review about.”

“Great customer service. Representatives almost always available by chat and people actually call me back. It's easy to talk to a live person. Even better, I feel good about my money staying in my community. I like that they make loans to my neighbors. I wanted to bank Black, but the Black-owned banks didn't offer the services I needed. Banking locally in Prince George's County is banking, Black, for all practical purposes. I'd rather keep my money here than at some giant corporate bank that survives on taxpayer handouts.”

“I came to the NFCU on Feb 6, 2024. Deposited a tax refund check and experienced a small set back with the image reading through the ATM. The next day I noticed the check was not pending. I called NFCU spoke with several associates and was told that a check had to be reissued. However when I went into the branch and spoke with Ms. Terri Kipp (branch leader). She went above and beyond to make sure I did not have to wait another 7 to 10 business days to receive my funds. I hope management knows she is a real asset to the company.”

“AFL-CIO Employees Federal Credit Union sits on the corner of New Jersey AVE and F St NW in the AFT building. It is a convenient location for all those that are part of a labor union and/or work for a labor union. At first I thought that this was nothing more than an ATM location. But after being around for a bit, and talking with a lot of coworkers, I came to realize that this was a functioning location with a counter complete with tellers. I came here to open up a new account and I find myself leaning more towards credit unions than banks. To note, I had started the application process online to open and account and never heard back from anyone at the credit union for months. I ended up coming into the branch and talking with the staff member responsible with opening accounts. I explained that I had applied to open an account online and that there was no movement. I guess it was a misstep on their behalf. I then asked if I could have hard copies of the application and I would get it filled out and return later that day. Luckily for me, the application process with hard copies was much easier to complete than it was online. Just be aware of the forms you are giving, they tried to slip in an application to apply for a loan for me. Within less than two hours I had my forms complete and I was heading back to this location to hand them in. All I had to do was wait for the forms to be processed by the staff member and then I would hear back from them. True to her word, I had an email shortly thereafter that my account was created and that I would received my checks and card within 7-10 business days. Here is where I thought I was being fooled with. After that email, I did receive an email with my account information. However, when I went to the website to enter this information to confirm and setup my account online, I kept getting denied access. At that point I called the customer service number to figure out what was going on. The lady that helped me via this route was super nice and figured out that they did not give me the complete account number, it was missing a single digit. After that was cleared up, my online account (and mobile account for that fact) were setup. The ten days I was supposed to get my checks and card had come and gone. I called the number for the staff member that initially helped me and had no luck when it came to making contact. At that point, I decided to drop into the branch again. Talked with the staff member and found out that a request for checks and my card was never completed and sent. Once that was cleared up I finally received me card and checks and was able to finally use this account for the reason I set it up.”

“Welcome to Sunnyville that's right no exaggeration with that. The sun always seams to shine in this Suntrust branch every time I come inside. It has to be the management because as soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with smiles and several welcome to Sunnyville...er..Suntrust. Everyone notices you and acknowledges your presences, you are someone there is no discontented grunts or nasty looks like you are the one who just robbed them last week. "Would you like a seat"? Coffee while you wait"? "Massage..."? Okay maybe no massages yet but I could certainly see it here. They really try to make everything as tranquil and pleasant as possible. Nope none of that negativity at all just smiles from everyone and for once a bank is really being nice to you. Heck... the nice teller gal even gave me a lollipop with a big bright smile at the end. "Have a nice day and a pleasant tomorrow".”

“I left my debit card here by mistake after using the ATM - staff was kind enough to notice and hold it safely for me. When I came to return to pick it up a few days later I watched another customer treat them incredibly rudely and they maintained their professionalism and were polite in helping the person. “I was experienceing multiple issues with my account after signing up online. After 2 weeks of less than par service i was ready to drop my account. As my last hoorah i decided to give the New york & 14th branch a chance and it surely restored my faith in wells fargo. Mr. Sherbek Salidjanov took his time to go step by step to relieve the miriad of roadblocks i seemed to be facing. Mohaamed Sneyba pitched in as well and I am sure the entirety of the wellsfargo entity cannot produce a better team than the team I just finished working with not 10 minutes ago. You guys deserve cudos and compensation for the way you handle your clients, thank you.”
