“I was so delighted to had met Julian S at the paint department at the Home Depot - Owings Mills, MD. He was very knowledgeable and patient as he explained to me the various types, qualities and finishings of interior paints. He certainly made it easier as it was my first experience buying paint and I was feeling intimidated not knowing how to choose. Julian answered all the questions a rookie could have and he also helped me understand a balance color scheme.I left happy with my buckets of the top of the line BEHR Dynasty One Coat Satin paints. “This is my second visit in as many years to buy products. I purchased the Triple Play Mix for my raised bed gardens again this year. This stuff is amazing! Perfect for vegetables. “My girlfriend and I love Valley View Farms. We visit every month or two during the spring, summer, and fall...and of course, Christmas! While their prices are bit higher than the big box stores in the area, their plants are always healthy. Their tulip selection was awesome this past fall; we bought way more than we should have! We also love their pond store and bird feed/feeders. Their Christmas decorations were amazing this year too. Customer service has always been pleasant and helpful.”

“My wife and I have always relied on this place for our annual pellet needs. This year, there was a slight hiccup with our order ending up at the neighbor’s (yes, all 3 pallets). But the moment they opened up the next day, they were on it. The team quickly corrected the mistake with professionalism and a friendly demeanor. “I ordered seven yards of mulch delivered this season for a much needed spruce up of my lawn and garden areas. I went with the eco mulch which is absolutely better quality than most premium mulch from other retailers IMO. The ordering process was straightforward and easy, and the delivery driver was fantastic. Mulch was placed directly and cleanly on a tarp I had laid out on the driveway. Can't say that my back is excited for next year's mulching, but definitely will be ordering from Hollins Organic again.”
“We visited this store on 10/22/2023. It was the most pleasurable experience that i have encountered. MARLAYA was spectacular. She was very helpful and friendly. The level of professionalism that she displayed was simply amazing. I would highly recommend a promotion/raise for her. Anneliese (Supervisor) was very appreciative of my comments to her about MARLAYA. When leaving, SEMIRA was very helpful as well when she initially assisted us with MARLAYA. We were elated when we reached the cash register to check out where we encountered TYNEARA. She was very kind as well. The Super Customer Service that was given to us should be awarded due to the fact that it is very rare to find such a service. I would highly recommend this location in Randallstown, Maryland to all of my friends and family.”

Asked for the manager on duty and after a short wait Tammy found me and took great care of me all the way into the parking lot loading my car. She is a gem and hope her entire staff follows her example.”

“I am a contractor and own two older vans that needed a paint job. I called around and got quotes in the thousands of dollars range. I decided i wanted to save money and paint my vans myself so looked online for spray paint and found this home depot close to my house that had a lot of inventory. This store also had all the tools i needed such as sandpaper, plastic sheets, etc. I just finished painting my vans and i am more than satisfied with my diy job. The man working at the paint isle also helped direct me to what i needed. Thanks home depot”

“Leon was absolutely amazing at helping me find everything I need. I had a long list of items and he patiently helped me to locate and acquire many of them. Some of the other staff members I asked for assistance just pointed me in the direction of the items or told me which aisle to check in, but Leon walked me right to them. He was very polite, very patient, and very kind. I really appreciated his assistance. This is not a five star review because of some of the issues I had at check out. I was buying a step ladder and there was a difference in the price. The description on the price tag on the rack seemed to correspond with my item, but not the sku number... which would mean that I would ultimately be paying more for the item. The cashier called over the head cashier, who told me the sku was not the same on the item as it was on the price tag (which I took a photo of for reference). I told her that the description matched the item but she would not change the price. I asked to speak to the manager, who tried to treat me like I couldn't read. I explained the situation to her and tried to show her a picture of the price tag on the rack (which was located only inches from the ground) so she wouldn't have to bend all the way down there to read the tiny numbers. Instead, she rudely waved my phone away with her hand and said "We don't accept pictures here." Uh-huh. So we schlep back there and I tell her the same thing I just told her about the item description and pointed it out to her so she could see for herself, and she miraculouy came to the same conclusion I did... as if I hadn't just told her this morning moments earlier. This wasn't verification; she just blatantly had not been listening to me. Long story short, I ended up getting the price reduction that was owed to me. It's just a shame I had to go through half the damn staff to get it.”
“This 5 star review is strictly ONLY for the garden department. The rest of this store needs a lot of improvement. There is a wonderful selection of flowers, plants and products for the gardener. Any time I have gone and need to find something or needed information on plants Jackie always seems to be there and is very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend visiting the garden department. The cashiers are always very pleasant as well. I personally appreciate all the hard work and beautiful displays of the flowers!”
“I recently became a first time home owner. When I tell you all that this is a lot....this is A Lot. There is so much to learn about a house, its parts, how it functions, the innerworkings, and who to call.One of the items that I am working on is getting blinds for the entire house. Why are there so many types of blinds? Why, friend? Why? I became really overwhelmed and reached out to blind specialist stores. Unfortunately, their quotes for service, design and installation was thousands of dollars. I kept the quotes and went to Home Depot to get their counsel. I had no idea what I was looking for nor the proper terminologies. What I did know was that the paper blinds in my house had reached it expiration date. Lol. I met Christina. She sat with me at a desk, gave me a tutorial on blinds and walked me through the home depot online process. The online process allows one to customize what they are looking for to the inventory of home depot. Christina patiently inquired about each room of my house that needed blinds, asked me probing questions, and encouraged my decisions. By the end of the meeting, she was able to provide me with a quote. I really appreciate being able to go to my local Home Depot to lessen the anxiety of homeownership.”
