“I went in a week ago and it was beyond busy. I overheard salty language, noticed a mountain of boxes waiting for UPS to pick up, a growing line and not enough help. There was one woman standing behind the register, not doing anything. Perhaps she was a trainee? The one woman that was working was doing a fantastic job, quickly juggling multiple transactions, working the computer, the phone, etc. - which was extra amazing considering she had one arm in a sling.
Thought somebody should know.”
“Becky at this Woburn store was so helpful. I had a box of Verizon equipment to return following their instructions to just "bring to any UPS store". Becky helped me understand the additional information needed and I was able to easily find it on another piece of paper in the box (hint: the "MA" number). With that number she took care of it all. Done. Easy.
Why is this so special? Because three days earlier, I took same box to UPS in Arlington Heights. They made me leave. "what were they supposed to do?". Told me to call Verizon. They were supposed to be like Becky in Woburn.”

“I visited on 4/2 because I needed to empty out my daughter’s storage unit and ship a few things we were keeping back to Miami. The gentleman working there—he might’ve gone by “Mo,” though I’m not certain—was absolutely incredible. His customer service was exceptional. He helped me unpack the suitcases and reassured me not to worry, that he would take care of packing everything himself.
It’s been a long time since I’ve experienced that level of compassion and service—especially at a UPS Store. You could tell he was just a genuinely kind and caring person. The young woman at the front, whose name I didn’t catch, was also warm, helpful, and had a lovely smile. She was about to help me, but he kindly told her, “Don’t worry, I’ll pack it—you can help the next customer.”

I had a few heavy packages to ship out. I came into the store before they closed. Shawndell patiently but very efficiently helped me to tape those packages, scanned them so I was out of the door much faster than expected. He could have declined because I didn’t bring my own tape and it was close to 6:30, but he helped me nevertheless. Saundell is very professional and an absolute asset for this local UPS store. In town FedEx is 20 mins at counter apparently, but this was in and out in under 3 mins for shipping past week. Glad for this option!!”

There are machines for you to handle pickups and returns on your own, but there is also a worker there to help/if your return is too big for the drop box. I didn't use the machines, so I can't speak to them, but the worker was friendly.”

“Kind of strange to be writing a review for the post office, but after reading the bad reviews for the Dedham post office, I went ahead and made my way to the Westwood post office.
I thought the woman behind the counter was extremely patient as I tried to figure out the best way to send my three different tax-related documents -– some that needed certified with return receipt, others that did not. Apparently the type of envelope that you buy can determine the way it’s mailed, and some envelopes end up costing more than others because of that.
In the end, I was able to get everything mailed, get the return receipts I needed, and she never made me feel rushed or stupid. It was also five minutes before closing time, so I give her a lot of kudos for that too.”

“The reviews are probably based more on bad experiences on the delivery end. This office is straightforward and gets the job done. I wish USPS would invest and probably spruce up the place, similar to newer facilities I see in other areas of the country. This would probably make the space more inviting for staff and customers.Overall, I use USPS more than the other services. Prices in most cases are better and get to well traveled locations relatively quickly.”
