“I had a great experience at David's Shoes! I visited wanting to try a specific brand/style, and Robert not only showed me those but also many other similar models. I ended up buying a shoe that was different from what I had in mind but was better suited to my needs! Robert is very knowledgeable about each shoe that his store carries, and he was very understanding when I came in a couple more times to try different styles and sizes before making a decision.
I also of course appreciate that the shoes are marked down at least 15% less than retail, and an additional 5% off if you pay with cash. The return policy is pretty fair too: return the shoes in the box and in like-new condition, with the receipt, and you can either exchange them for a different pair of the same price or get store credit.
The store is in a pretty accessible location, 12-15min walk from the red line and 5-7min walk from the green line. Very close to the Cambridgeside mall too. We love independent shops with quality selection and service!”

“I bought a pair of Italian leather boots in Vienna as a souvenir. I wore them out, sadly. I absolutely LOVED these boots and LaRossa Shoe repair made them like new with new soles and heels! I was so pleased that I just brought in my favorite black pumps that my puppy decided to chow-down on….I cried!! I am a size 5 shoe and I rarely find shoes that fit me as terrifically as these do. LaRossa will repair them!!! I cannot say enough about this shoe and repair store! Love them and love the quality work that they are capable of doing!!! “I have purchased several pairs of shoes from this store. Recently I became smitten with the Nansen, which offers a unique style and vibe sporting a slightly squared off toe box. My challenge was that I was close to an 11, but felt a little cramped. Justin was very accommodating and sent a size 12 with inserts, but my feet sloshed around in them. Then Justin came up with Plan C. He modified a Size 11, by stretching them out where I needed it. This final sale transaction was just what I needed to get a perfect fit. He also advised me on shoe polishing maintenance to keep me looking stylish. Justin a true gem, ever so thoughtful and resourceful. Thank you for working with me to overcome my impediments Justin.”

DANNIE, Participating in this snow activity was a very first for us especially having flown in from the Sunshine State...you didn't gatekeep, instead you poured all of your know-how into getting us up to speed gear wise. In a sea of snow experts fitted in premium, professional technical snow gear, we received an overabundance of compliments on our Columbia gear left, right and center! It was that reveal you were talking about! We were the subject of so many camera lens! We certainly looked the part, so we assumed the part and most importantly, we were so warm! Between the cold, the extreme sport and the mountain height, I'm not sure which had me most afraid! It least you were able to solve for one of my biggest fears! LOL

I love the capsule closet and minimalist vibes and the quality but what keeps me coming back is the staff at the Seaport store. I’ve brought friends and family who hate shopping and they leave with a new wardrobe and a smile on their face. I truly attribute this to the store manager. She is so bubbly and warm but also knows her stuff. She’s not there to push you to spend money but she genuinely wants you to be satisfied for the long term with your clothes and how you feel in your clothes. I value her experience and her personality. Every store needs a Maryclaire.”
“Stopped by 3J Clothing Store in Dorchester, Boston and had an excellent experience. This is easily one of the best local clothing stores in Dorchester for streetwear, trendy fashion, hoodies, graphic tees, jeans, sneakers, hats, and accessories. They have a fresh selection of styles for men and women, with new pieces that you usually only find online, but here you can shop in person and take it home the same day.
The store was clean, organized, and had a great vibe as soon as I walked in. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knew what styles are popular right now.
