“These are the BEST resale stores ever. I have shopped at at least 4 of them, however the Warren store has been my favorite since 2011. My granddaughter has been shopping with me since she was a little girl, she's nineteen now and she loves shopping there as well. I tell people I meet all the time about this place when asked where did I get this or that, I proudly say Value World. I brag about you a lot. “This Meijer location is my go-to. No drama here, and it’s your typical Meijer, so it’s consistent with what you expect. However, I’m not a fan of them stocking the shelves at 10-12 at all. I have to maneuver around the isles and feel like I’m in there way sometimes. I remember when stores were 24 hours and they did the stocking overnight now we pay more for worse service. Speaking of which, those patronizing self checkouts… I have to fill out a damn questionnaire before I start ringing MYSELF up and can literally scan my case of water first and at the end I’ll still get have to wait for “approval” for the case of water because the overhead AI camera will see my case of water still in the cart and not on the bagging platform. I’m a bodybuilder and spend thousands here and when I get to the self checkout I can’t help but feel like as a regular shopper I’m not all that valued here or that the experience just isn’t what I’d like. The store has everything I need but the lady rushing us out the store on the intercoms at 11:45 when I KNOW what time the damn store closes and checking me when their workers forget to take off a tag just makes me want to shop at a smaller mom and pop store just to feel valued. Good store tho overall”

“I love target! The store is very clean and organized. I like the small clearance section that sits right in front of the entrance when you walk in. Love that Target has up their game on makeup by adding name brands to their shelves, such as Anastasia Beverly Hill, Sunday Riley, Too Faced, MAC, Urban Decay, Shiseido, Clinique and a few more others. Now I don't have to travel to Ulta or Sephora when I can stop at Target. I also love stopping at Starbucks before I start my shopping. Surrounding stores is Burlington, nonstop allegiance (entertainment center), Chase Bank and some other stores nearby.”

“Marshall's is a great store it's just like Ross or TJ Maxx if you have a keen eye you can really get some great deals. I was thrift shopping recently and found it hilarious how much they are taxing for garbage. You can just go here and get brand new clothes at a much lower price.”
“As head cashier at this location I can say this store has come along ways from 3 or 4 years ago. Our store is consider one of the cleanest and well organized store than ones they've been to recently according to multiple customers ?our store is one of the most stock stores. As of today we now sell Backwoods so please come on in and get your supplies here at you favorite Family Dollar Store in Warren. Towels are always full except in middle of updating the schematics like in that picture.”

“Before I retired, I never shopped at Wal-Mart because I didn't like the way they treat their (underpaid) employees. Now I'm retired and living on a fixed income, so I can't afford to be choosy. I've read a lot of comments here about dirty stores and rude employees. The only store I shop at is the Wal-Mart Superstore at 14 Mile and Van Dyke, and while it's no palace, it's clean and well maintained and it stocks some items that I can't find at other chain stores, like Kroger, often at lower prices. And the employees have always been pleasant and helpful, often going of of their way to find an item for me. I'm sure not all Wal-Marts are the same. A lot depends on the kind of people who work there, the kind of store manager, etc. And I only shop during off hours, when I know they won't be rushed. I realize not everyone can do that. But if you've got a job, and you're in a hurry to get your shopping done because you're on your lunch hour, remember this is their busy time and don't expect them to drop everything else to take care of you. I'm giving this store (and only this store, because it's the only Wal-Mart store I've ever shopped) five stars because it's better than I expected a Wal-Mart would be. Just don't go there expecting it to be like Macy's, and you'll be fine.”
“My precious mom and I just loved shopping at Burlington and we would especially enjoy checking out a new Burlington. We liked all the fun finds in the women clothing section. There are so many unique, low priced, high quality clothes to be found. My beautiful mom and fellow shopper of many years passed away 7 months ago but I'm sure she would have enjoyed shopping at this Burlington. I found the store to be rather clean with overall clear isles. The clear isles would have come in handy if mom were with me as I would push her in the wheelchair. There was plenty of product in all the different areas from purses, shoes, perfume, pots and pans, you name it they got it. I take one star away as the store was understaffed and the one cashier I interacted with didn't greet me or smile. She wasn't bad just not a nice exciting interaction.”
The Cincinnati-based supermarket giant will open about 110 new stores in fast-growing markets by 2029 and introduce three updated store formats, executives told investors Oct. 20 at the company’s Investor Update in New York. Kroger already runs about 2,700 stores in 35 states. The formats come in three sizes, a bit like small, medium and large, matched to each market. Mary Ellen Adcock, Kroger’s executive vice president and chief merchant and marketing officer, walked through the lineup.
Walmart shoppers want a head start on the holidays, and money explains a lot of it. Some 44% of respondents call affording the holidays their top stressor, and 61% say holiday costs shape their shopping mood. Asked what would make the season easier, 70% picked lower prices and 57% picked more deals and promotions. Convenience ranks lower: 30% want one-stop shopping across categories, and 20% want faster delivery.
Target is rolling out its most ambitious store overhaul in more than ten years, with plans to remodel over 130 locations and open 30 new stores across the country this year. The retailer is also putting money into supply chain technology upgrades to keep pace with how shoppers buy today.
Aldi is celebrating its 50th anniversary in the United States with an ambitious plan to open more than 180 new stores across 31 states in 2026, pushing its footprint closer to 3,200 stores by the end of 2028.
