“Super nice guy:) I wish I found out about this place when I first moved to the neighborhood 8 months ago, it is way easier than having to wait or worry about he post office or getting my packages at the leasing building due to them getting stolen at my building. He charges $3 a package to be sent out by UPS or for $10 a month you get a mailbox and unlimited packages to be sent, the only thing I got confused about was it's a 6-month minimum and you have to pay it upfront so $60 + show 2 forms of ID, SSI card not accepted. I showed him my ID and my lease. You can also get things sent to his email and he will print it for you and I believe they fax as well. They sell shipping essentials if needed AKA boxes and tape. Only open busines hrs during the Week- Not Open on Weekends!”
“I’m giving the Manager 4 stars. She was polite and had to intervene because Derrick refused to enter the correct address. She corrected everything and made sure my package is going where it should be. Derrick had an attitude and he refused to listen or correct the address again when I called. He was more concerned that he was off work in a few minutes than he was with fixing his”mistake,” Stating ,”it’s too late your package was already picked up!” Meaning your package is going to the wrong address, it’s your fault ,and that’s ok because we close in two minutes. Their entire business is mailing packages. He couldn’t care less if my package arrived at the correct address. Which is his job. That level of disregard and incompetence is not ok when you’re already overpaying to mail a package. If you don’t want to your job then go work somewhere else. I told him the correct zip code multiple times and he still got it wrong. He not only got it wrong he refused to fix it arguing that the computer is changing the city. When he was putting in the wrong zip code. He made the process unpleasant because he was disrespectful and unprofessional! People with that type of disrespectful argumentative attitude have no business dealing with anyones customers! I refuse to return to that store. Mailing a package should never be that aggravating!”
“the people that work here are genuinely helpful, i came in once with a super confusing verizon return and didn't have the paperwork i was supposed to have and the person working that day found a workaround within 5 minutes. i also just went in to get a passport photo taken and after they told me they didn't do digital copies the guy offered to just take the picture on my phone free of charge (should've gotten your name, i appreciate you!)”
“Best place to go to drop off packages. Hardly ever a wait, the staff know what they are doing and are super friendly, and they accept UPS, FedEx AND USPS. My only complaint is the parking lot is cramped but that’s not their fault!”
“I would like to give this particular FedEx office a 5 star review.. This was the most amazing staff I’ve ever met operating under the management of a humble,caring,thorough,yet considerate young man by the name of JESSE. He welcomed me and my dissatisfied experience with the IDS building FedEx location he helped me initiate , launch, and complete my business order including my dessert business cards and dessert packaging stickers I was satisfied above and beyond my expectations I noticed that the manager Jesse took the time and effort to do my order personally and he seemed very disappointed that I was treated so rude and disrespectful at the other location. His staff greeted me and had the most amazing energy I’ve ever experienced. Jesse and his staff deserve to be the model store of the whole Fed Ex organisation. When I tell you the IDS building gave me no assistance on there computer to aid me in saving my design template to prevent future the time consuming process of editing and redesigning my dessert business name and all associated information that’s needed to start and complete my order. And I am a recurring customer. I have been doing this order once a month for the last 7 months to no avail they told me they could only save my design if I bought a flash drive and saved it and they could only complete my dessert sticker order if I emailed the template directly to the FedEx office all of these things are untrue and misinformation because when I visited the East Lake street location they saved my template , had me sign a document and it’s secured and ready for repeat orders upon my request they also printed my stickers off on a a sheet that peels much easier 1 sticker adult a time no need for cutting each one individually like the IDS stores stickers are. With all that being said I just want to extend my deepest gratitude and appreciation to this wonderful staff and awesome FedEx store I encourage all customers to go here versus the very mean spirited seemingly prejudice store manager and oblivious staff who did not have any qualms about being rude and insulting to me..I will never take my business anywhere except The FedEx office on East Lake Street. You Guys ROCK!!!!!!”

“Left Plainfield Indiana to go home to White Bear Lake Minnesota. I left my phone, and a whole bag of clothes in the hotel room. The hotel staff (I posted a review of them as well) had taken my forgotten items to the UPS store in Plainfield on Tuesday night. 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning I had my phone back. Very very impressed!”

“Stopped in to buy a stamp for a letter I was sending there and was very pleasantly surprised. I walked in and was immediately greeted by two younger staff whom were very friendly, professional, and helpful. They took great care of me, I didn’t have to wait in any lines (great timing on my end I guess?), and I was in and out within minutes. The inside is much bigger than it looks on the outside and I found out they do passports there too! Would definitely recommend going here.”

“The building is mostly unmarked, so you wouldn't think it's a post office. Down the street is a large building in USPS looking branding, but it's a private business. So it's a little hard to find. The line was non-existent. Staff was as friendly as you could expect a bored federal employee to be. Overall, I recommend this location. They should add a sign though.”
