Furry Paws
1705 3rd Ave, New YorkFurry Paws has always been my go to for doggie merchandise. Today I was helping a friend looking for the booties for her dog for out in the cold and snow. The employee was so helpful showing me how they are packaged. She had various sizes for different breeds of dogs. It was listed on the package. They came in different colors made of a soft rubber and are disposable. She said she sells a lot of them for $19.99 a package. I left with a lot of information for my friend. It's up to her if she wants to get them or search online for a different style or price. I'm recommending Furry Paws if you live nearby. Save the puppies feet from pain in the ice and snow!

Heart of Chelsea Veterinary Group - Lower East Side
241 Eldridge St, New YorkI sought Dr. Chu to be the central member of my 9.5-year-old Corgi's care team to help me navigate and coordinate his complicated needs. Dr. Chu did not disappoint. She provided a routine/annual exam and then addressed my concerns (excessive scratching and lameness following TPLO surgery). Dr. Chu was patient, attentive, and gentle in her handling of my pup. She prioritized services to avoid stressing an already weary pup. Although I came in thinking I needed X-rays, she reminded me that they were taken recently and that another wouldn't be necessary. A couple of days later Dr. Chu called to check up on my boy and also shared that she took the extra step of consulting a radiologist regarding the X-rays. It is a relief to find a veterinarian who provides such clear medical updates and truly understands the concerns of a pet owner.
Thank you for the excellent care and for making us feel so welcome.

When I picked him up he was happy and I could tell was very well taken care of! It gave me such peace of mind knowing he was well taken care of while I had to leave town. Bare Paws NYC Dog Walkers & Pet Sitters
157 East 86th St 5th floor, New YorkI’m a fan of Bare Paws, I’ve had bad experiences in the past with dog walkers where they came too early/was a no show. Plus my dog is reactive so I really need to trust the dog walker and know they can handle Cookie. Jahi has been amazing since we did the meet and greet. It’s clear he is around dogs and can manage her. I’ve seen my dogs behavior improve. Jahi also sends me timely updates and photos. He remembers everything (her food, treats, and wiping paws). 301 E 110th St, New YorkThe Paws Gurus have been an incredible partner in caring for my two dogs, Anubis and Hunter. They know each of their personalities so well, and I always feel like I’m dropping them off with family rather than a generic daycare.
Anubis can be a bit of a diva, and the team not only understands him, they genuinely enjoy his quirks, which gives me huge peace of mind. Hunter comes home happy, tired, and clearly well looked after after every stay.
Communication is excellent, the space is clean and thoughtfully set up, and I really appreciate the mix of outdoor and indoor playtime they provide. I trust The Paws Gurus completely and recommend them to anyone looking for loving, reliable daycare or boarding in NYC.

The Educated Dog
107 W 86th St #14D, New YorkI had an amazing experience working with Deanne, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. When we first started, my puppy was struggling with separation anxiety, barking, and some challenges on walks (such as eating non-food items). Deanne created a clear, personalized plan that helped us address each issue step by step.
Deanne taught my puppy basic commands (sit, down, stay, etc.), no jumping when greeting people, walking calmly on leash, introduced him to the dog run in a safe and positive way, and gave me the tools to manage and greatly reduce barking that used to happen throughout the day.
What I appreciated most was how patient, knowledgeable, and supportive Deanne was. She not only helped my puppy but also helped me understand how to reinforce good habits and maintain consistency at home.
If you’re looking for someone who truly understands dog behavior and sets you and your pup up for success, Deanne is absolutely the best choice.

But nonetheless, I really like this restaurant, I wouldn’t recommend the shrimp fried rice served in pine apple. FIGO Il Gelato Italiano
178 Mulberry St, New YorkVico Gelato in Little Italy was such a pleasant surprise ??
The Figo flavor was beautifully unique — sweet, deep, slightly honey-like, with that unmistakable rich fig taste that feels very Mediterranean. Not a flavor you easily find everywhere, and they did it so well.
The Limone tasted incredibly authentic too, just like the refreshing lemon gelato you find in Positano or Southern Italy. And the Pistachio was bold, nutty, and intensely flavorful.
A little taste of Italy right in the middle of NYC.

Jemmy's Dog Run
Broadway, New YorkGood place to bring your dog, two sections, one for small dogs and for large dogs. Plenty of space for the fur children to run. The piss stench can be very strong and could put you down. But it comes with the territory.

Animal Care Centers of NYC - Manhattan
326 E 110th St, New YorkThey took care of my two cats (Bam Bam and Mista Jamo)* while going through a dramatic change in my life! They are healthy, strong and will continue to thrive! Much appreciation to the whole staff that was involved in my situation. They were compassionate, and kind. More than understanding and persistent. That made all the difference!

Robert Moses Playground
East 42nd Street and, 1st Ave, New YorkI spent the day on a long walk downtown on the east side and passed by this park. It is a very large park with a lot of green for soccer. Looks like it is well maintained and popular.
