Plus the staff are extremely helpful and friendly (one runs the upstairs and one runs the downstairs) and you know they know what they're doing since there's a resident cat, parrot, and tortoise to hang out with!

I asked the founder, Susan, for some recommendations for our puppy, and every item she suggested ended up being a hit. He even rotates through the toys, so I went back to buy more items.
This will definitely be our go-to store as our puppy grows older, and it’s also a wonderful place to shop for gifts. Thank you for the amazing recommendations!

54 Tiemann Place, New YorkEveryone in the neighborhood with a dog that needs grooming comes to Snoot. And it's well worth a trip from anywhere else in the city! Their work is superb, they are loving and kind, they follow the owners' wishes carefully. My dog makes it clear that she does not want to go to the groomer; but that has more to do with my leaving (she has separation anxiety) than being groomed. She settles down as soon as I leave, loves the attention, the petting, being treated like the staff's own dog. She looks so good afterwards and enjoys the compliments she gets from passersby. There's only one downside: Snoot is so popular that you can't get an appointment immediately--it's worth waiting.
I just noticed a rave review from River's person. Very few groomers know how to make a Portuguese Water Dog look good. I know River--she always looks terrific!

They even took the time to show me how to properly brush her in tougher areas and shared so many helpful tips for at-home care. Outstanding service from start to finish. The nice gentleman running the front looked through his items but no luck. It's a small and very clean place with lots of accessories -- even Canadian pooch clothing which I buy. There was a groomer working that day. I asked if they could cut his dewclaws at the moment. Frontman called my vet for a copy of his shots--thats a good sign. Very hospitable people working there. I will return for a haircut soon.

The person at the front desk was nice, however I would not recommend coming here for a groom unless you’re okay with extremely variable/not locked in pricing. Dropped off my dog (10 lbs) with the expectation that the groom cost would be around $110 + $15 for a deep teeth clean. Picked her up and was charged $175 instead, $50 more than expected and still before tip. I’m no stranger to slight price increases based on fur type but this was much more significant with little to no explanation. Seems like a nice place overall but just wanted to share so no one else gets stuck with a much larger bill than they planned for!

West is a very young puppy and, as you can imagine, she can be quite a handful! The entire team has been so patient with her and has made every visit feel comfortable and positive. They take their time, handle her gently, answer all of our questions, and never make us feel rushed.
What has stood out to us most is how genuinely caring the staff has been toward West. You can tell they truly love animals and want both the pets and their owners to feel comfortable. As new puppy parents, having a veterinary team we can trust means so much to us.
We are so happy we found Riverside Veterinary Care and feel very confident knowing West is in such caring hands. Thank you to the entire team for taking such wonderful care of our little girl! Like most of us, I tend to get a little anxious whenever they need to get any work done but the staff is so good at putting any worries to rest and is so incredibly kind.
The tier pricing system is fair and they’re always happy to clear up any questions. On top of their kindness and transparency, they do truly great work. Neither of my cats have ever had any complications and always seem to be pretty comfortable in their space.
Absolutely love this office and team, highly recommend to anyone who needs dental work for their pet!

He was neutered as a puppy, gets all his dental cleanings with Dr. Shorter, has been diagnosed and treated with a rare autoimmune disease and then some. Their administration team, specifically Christopher has helped coordinate insurance claims, appointment and surgical scheduling as well as follow up. I am telling you as someone who has done two courses of puppy kindergarten, a board and train program, at home training for about 12 sessions and recently learned from professional gun dog trainers in Ireland that Stephen is the absolute real deal! As Gizmo continues to get older and recently hit the adolescent phase, you can tell that the things he’s retained are the commands that Stephen taught us.

Plus my dog is reactive so I really need to trust the dog walker and know they can handle Cookie. Jahi has been amazing since we did the meet and greet. It’s clear he is around dogs and can manage her. I’ve seen my dogs behavior improve. Jahi also sends me timely updates and photos. He remembers everything (her food, treats, and wiping paws). I feel grateful knowing my dog is in great hands.

secondly he lets you taste the tea first and makes sure you like it and its flavoring to make sure everyone's happy so he puts a lot of time into it
thirdly this is one of the few rare places with a good rose tea so this will always be one of my go-tos
fourthly he's a one piece fan so that's awesome. however i wouldn't let this affect my reviews and stars so it's not biased. fyi.

Directing me to the organizations that were needed to facilitate the rescue. If it wasn’t for his kind, caring support and direction a sweet 8 year old lady would have been put to sleep. Broadway, New YorkI spent the day walking around the Madison Square Park looking at the statues and historic sights. Just past the Flag Staff, I passed by Jemmy’s Dog Run. Today there were only a few dogs playing there as it was a work day. The dog park is nice and clean.
