“When a 40-ft tree fell on our wheelchair van we found ourselves scrambling to find a replacement. We had high hopes of getting a Silverado w/wheelchair passenger mod to replace it. Although 9 hours away from our location, Rich was able to check measurements of the truck we liked for compatibility with our particular wheelchair model, but found that -- due to 4WD -- the modification on this particular vehicle wouldn't work with our current equipment. We appreciate Rich taking the time to answer questions and research those details, and hope to some day make the trip to Syracuse to find our next ride.”

“Pleasant experience. It was one of those days, I woke up and was ready to head work , and my car tire found deflated in the garage. Towed the car to an Infiniti dealership.Once I got to Enterprise car rental,the staff were very prompt in responding to my car needs. Lossine B. was very kind and professional in handling my loaner needs. He got me a car quicker and made my day go better.Jessica . Mompeller, the store supervisor was amazing in giving an approval for the only van on site to be released to me so I can get to work.”

“Great rental experience at the airport. The car was ready as promised. It was the car that I was expecting. The drop off was extremely easy. Their extended hours were helpful seeing we needed the car all day. Even if you prepay, make sure to give yourself some extra time as you need to still wait in line at the pick up point. Other than that, excellent job by Avis.”

“Dropped my one way rental from FL here. Directions are clear but you are supposed to park your car in the numbered lots and then walk to the counter inside the terminal for a final receipt. Make sure you do that for the final amount else you will never know of someone else takes away the car if the keys are inside!The counter lady was helpful and provided me the final charge without any hiccups. Even spoke to me in Hindi!”

“Picking up the car was slow because many customers were waiting, and some had very complicated, time-consuming issues that needed to be ironed out. The car worked well, and drop-off was quick and painless. May depend on what time of the day and week you arrive/depart. Overall would rent here again under the right circumstances. “My wife & daughter recently rented from Dollar Car Rental, Syracuse Airport. Here's what they said: We did not have a wait in a long line to pick up the car & believe it or not the experience was not at all what others have posted in their reviews. We got to the counter, confirmed our reservation, were given the key, the woman at the desk told us where we needed to go to pick up the car & off we went. I had no idea what type of rental we were getting because of all the bad reviews stating that the cars were messed up, dirty, etc. I felt like we were going to have to make due with whatever we got. Remember you often get what you pay for.To my shock & surprise, we were given a new Nissan Sentra, 4dr. with less than 1600 miles on the car. It was amazing. The ride was great, the gas mileage was good & just the whole experience from check in to returning the car was exceptional. We had no problems at all.I feel like bad reviews are often based on the way the reviewer approaches the situation. Just remember that kindness & the way you approach people & a situation is what makes the process either good or bad. I went to the counter with no expectations, even after reading all the bad reviews. I was treated by the desk associates the same way I treated them. For myself & my daughter the experience was great. I will definitely rent from this Dollar location again.P.S. I don't write bad reviews either because if the situation was that bad, clearly my attitude & approach was half the problem.”
