The sandwiches were all delicious and the tomato bisque was really good too. Kids meals come with goldfish, cookie and a drink but sides and drinks for regular meals are separate so it can add up fast.

They have many wines to chose from along with several different flights so you should be able to find something for everyone. The staff is helpful. The grounds we're beautiful. Lots of places to sit and several tent options for the cold weather. Winter hours are bit lacking but if you plan your trip it is absolutely fine. They also have some options for snacking and when we were there a food truck. They also have live music on a schedule. Worth the stop.

The service was wonderful, food and drinks were delicious (really appreciated my mocktail), and the atmosphere splendid. Will definitely be making Reid's our date night/special occasion spot and will find any reason to go back. 10/10 recommend.

The only negative is that they say their hours are 9am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday and when we came on Saturday, no one showed up to open until 9:05am and when we came back today (Sunday), no one showed up to open. We really loved this place and wanted to have it again before we left Banmer Elk but they are not consistent on opening right at 9am. Would definitely come back next visit because it was that good!!

The service was impeccable! We had Vanessa and she was absolutely amazing. She treated us like family and we very much appreciated her.
When we come back next near for snow tubing we will be back.

Except this time instead of it being our very first date, it was for me to give him a ring. I called same day asking if they could make something special for this special occasion and they really helped me out a lot. They don’t do reserved seating so I understand making an event set up for only two is time consuming and can be costly so to all workers at the banner elk who made this special moment possible THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART! Thank you to John our server for keeping my ring surprise on the down low! And thank you to anne for setting my table romantically for the dinner. Thank you to the hostess for recognizing us and bringing us right to our set up without showing you knew what was going on.
Not to mention the food was just as amazing as the first time we had it and every time in between. I had the chicken parm & market salad and it was beyond wonderful. My Boyfriend got Baked penne and his review is “banger - cheese was perfect along with flavor and texture”.
We really love banner elk cafe and will be forever customers now :)
Amazing food, amazing workers, amazing atmosphere.
