Eduardo's Taco Stand
10 Lawton Ln, OcracokeThe food was good. Tacos: Mahi Mahi, pork, steak, and chicken. Service was good. The guacamole was good but overpriced. I realize island prices are more, but $63 for 6 tacos, 8 oz of guacamole, and 2 glass bottles of Coke is steep.

1718 Brewing Ocracoke
1129 Irvin Garrish Hwy, OcracokeGreat place in ocracoke for a nice cold beer. Was really surprised. Expected ok beer since they are the only brewery on the island, but they have excellent beer. Several styles to choose from. Nice inside and outside seating. Fast friendly service.

Gaffer's
9106-A Coast Guard Rd, Emerald IsleGreat spot to dine while in Emerald Isle! Excellent food and service and a great atmosphere! Came at lunch before it started to get too busy. Enjoyed the onion rings, the ahi tuna appetizer. The tuna salad (subbed mahi for the tuna) and a kids grilled cheese! Served on a frisbee! All were fresh and generous portions. Fun kid mocktails as well! Good beer selection too! Indoor and outdoor seating with a laid back beach vibe!

Ocracoke Oyster Company
621 Irvin Garrish Hwy, OcracokeThe food was very tasty. I had the Fish Rueben and my son had the Soft Shell Crab. The 4 stars comes from there being only 1 crab served in the entree, and well, that was just not enough for anyone with man-sized appetite! The crab came with a smallish portion of fries. He was ready for a burger by the time we made it back to Hatteras.

Ocracoke Coffee Company
226 Back Rd, OcracokeLove, love, love this locally owned coffee shop on Ocracoke Island. My sister and I go to the OBX a few times a year and every couple years we go over to Ocracoke. This is ALWAYS our first stop on the island as soon as we get off the ferry. The food is homemade, and the drinks are handcrafted while you wait. The ambiance is everything you'd want on an island: luscious jasmine hanging all over the front door, creaking floorboards under your feet, a homey inside feel, a great outside patio (with more jasmine!) with lots of seating and sunshine. They sell merch as well, so be sure to pick up a shirt or mug.
