The next morning at opening bell, First Flight Archery’s team inspected, checked, and assessed the bow ultimately bringing this piece of precision equipment back to life.
The calm, collected demeanor of the folks running the shop matched their skill set perfectly. What seemed like an eyeballing process to my green archer eyes was actually a precise sequence of adjustments and diagnostics. They gave me the confidence to get behind this bow again, now with even higher precision. What looked like a total loss became a tool ready for a few more seasons of harvest.
Online shops and big retailers can be appealing in a pinch, but supporting these welcoming specialty shops is essential. They preserve critical skills and help folks, experienced or green alike, discover just how awesome archery really is.

“Went to this location to return an online order fully expecting it to be a hassle. Instead I waited in line while I watched a very patient and respectful young male NB employee named Jo working with customers that presented with a complicated exchange transaction and who seemed to enjoy dragging out the process. After 10 minutes he politely apologized for the delay, asked someone to finish with those folks and he would address my return. If Jo is a manager there he is a good one. and if he isn’t he should be a manger there or somewhere. As an older customer I am often ignored or brushed off. Neither of these occurred, in fact Jo helped me look at some inserts even though the store was closing in ten minutes.
I will make it a point to return to the store when I have more time to try on the inserts and other shoes at this NB location. The kind and respectful demeanor I received in this store will certainly be remembered. Thank you Jo.”

“Great place for most sports including baseball, hockey, lacrosse, fitness, soccer, disc golf, golf, tennis, and more. They buy and sell gear at very reasonable prices for my hockey gear. Sometimes if you try to sell something that has something slightly wrong with it (even if it doesn't really make a difference in performance), than they will not accept it to be sold. Otherwise, this place is great for getting rid of old or unused equipment, with their easy process where you get a certain amount of store credits to use (or not-you get the choice :)) on your next purchase there!
