“I ordered a pantry cabinet in linen white and had it shipped via a carrier. The cabinet was damaged during shipping and I marked on the delivery receipt before signing it of the damage. I called Unfinished Furniture of Wilmington to let them know what happened. Talked to Rod who handled my claim and he apologized and said he would try to get me a new one sooner than the 6-8 weeks. He was very friendly and understanding and even fixed another issue that came up. The second cabinet was shipped with no damage and very well wrapped and secured. I am extremely happy with the beautiful cabinet and the wonderful service. They handled things very professionally.”

Whatever room you want to furnish or decorate, I'll bet you a nickel, you'll find something here you'll love. Choose from accent furniture, wall art & mirrors, décor, lamps & lighting, seating, kitchen, dining, office, bedroom and outdoor furniture, jewelry, plants, and more. Most of the inventory is high end, but we found a few hard to beat bargains. We spent just $31 and walked out with a set of two pretty wooden serving plates, a coral art wall hanging, and three distressed white picture frames. We were thrilled with the quality and value of our purchases. An interesting feature of their pricing policy is that just about everything had three prices, so the longer something stays in stock, the lower the price drops. Customer service is phenomenal. We had a wonderful chat with owner Jeannie Bethel, who was a real joy as she talked about her store, where the inventory comes from, and about Wilmington in general. We also had a great experience with Sharon Feiler who rang us up, meticulously wrapped our glass purchases, and chit chatted about the store. If we lived nearby, we'd most definitely be regulars.”

I've been to a few furniture stores before and it's so common to be harassed by the workers, but that isn't the case here. The worker gave us space and let us look around. She checked on us twice, but was understanding that I didn't want assistance. The prices were good and I wish I could remember the workers name because she deserves a shout out. She was working hard, and not just sitting around waiting to hover customers. Will return to this location!”

“We've had mixed results with Ethan Allen furniture and the staff at this store. Over the years, we purchased a sofa and loveseat, a large sectional, a smaller sectional, and several smaller accessories. Overall, Ethan Allen (EA) quality is good as it should be for the premium price EA charges. Or at least, it WAS good. The small sectional with attached chaise with down-wrapped foam cushions in a chenille fabric is absolutely horrible. We could get a better looking piece by buying used furniture from a thrift store. The cushions and fabric are not holding up and are certainly not the EA quality that we were used to. We've tried to get EA to respond, and we went through their warranty process with no satisfaction. Finally, a designer came out to see the problem. She informed us that we needed to flip the cushions often and leave the zipper side with the tie-down tabs exposed. So, no high-quality, finished look while you are using the bottom-side of the cushions to make the fabric shift back per the designer's advice. We've never had to do that with our other EA furniture. We tried to explain that we were not happy with the quality of this one piece, and she said that she wouldn't continue helping us "while we trash talked our furniture". We weren't complaining about her. We were complaining about this particular EA piece. The designer never asked how EA could make this situation right.Update 2/21/23: We did hear from Ethan Allen this morning, and EA has committed to remake the cushions on our small sectional. It was certainly refreshing to hear so quickly from someone at EA who can help us solve this issue. We're glad to know that EA does hear and respond to customer concerns. So, 3 stars for now until the final product displays the same high quality from EA that we've enjoyed over the years.Update 4/07/23: As promised by Ethan Allen in February, EA just replaced the cushions on our sectional. The sofa LOOKS GREAT now! Although it was a long process to get EA's attention to our issue, Ethan Allen followed through and delivered on the quality that we have come to expect from EA. We will definitely consider buying from EA again.”

“I, thought that Buddy's would have the same rude customer service as Aaron's,,Rent-A-Center, Best Rentals, and Helig-Mayers-before they went out of business. But it was the opposite way around. Buddy's never Sales or add anything on that I don't want or need. I have been dealing with Buddy's since December of 2022. I'm happy to say I paid off my tv last year in December. I'm still doing business with Buddy's today because of their proffisnanlizem and great prices. I'm paying $372 00 dollars a month for a brand new Ashley queen size bedroom set, a 75"Hisense Smart/Dolby Vision Tv,and a queen size mattress. I will continue to do business with Buddy's anytime I need something for my home!
