Advanced Boarding & Grooming Lewis Center

Absolutely love this place! My pup comes here for both grooming and boarding, and they are hands-down the best I’ve found. We have recently ran into a situation where I needed to have a vet for our dog. We called her vet in Zanesville, and every vet in town. No one was able to work her in. Called McConnelsville, and they were not able. Reached out to family in Marietta and they recommended Dr. Kid. I had to wait for a return call, but Dani (who answered phone) was more than willing to ask if they would be able to squeeze her in. This was despite their already busy scheduled day. When I spoke to Dani, I explained everything to her that had been going on. By the time we got there, my dog had we from being lethargic, seeming almost dead, no appetite, to being back to her self. They assured me I was not crazy and they were still willing to see her. They informed me that we would have a wait which I was totally ok with. I could see they were busy. We actually waited about 2 hrs, and I was debating on leaving, Because my dog was doing so much better, but we made the trip she needed to be seen. Although I thought my dog was back to normal, blood work told us otherwise. I don’t believe that we would’ve had a long visit if it hadn’t been our situation where they were working her in. The staff was more than nice. Everyone seemed very, very caring. And I was at their mercy. Dr. Kidd was very thorough and explaining what was going on. Dani was able to help with more questions. Our girl may have a little road ahead of her. We as a family are more than grateful for their willing to squeeze here in. We got answers and a plan. 100% glad we made the drive to this office. I can’t thank them enough.

I cannot recommend Passion Four Paws enough! They transformed my overly excited Great Dane into a well mannered, truly gentle giant. We enrolled him in the Pup Academy at 6months old and I no longer need to worry about him trampling over my children in excitement or bolting out the door every time it opens. They operate as a family and take such loving care of every dog. My dog Chopper gets so excited every time I drop him off and I love getting photo and video updates of everything he’s working on in training. It gives my husband and I tangible things to continue working on with him when he gets home. There are a million other amazing things I could say about this place so just take my word for it and enroll your dog here and see for yourself the change in behavior. You won’t regret it!

Sit means sit

I learned about Sit Means Sit Dog Training through the breeder of my English Cream Golden. She offered me an option to keep my puppy after her first nine weeks and to complete a 6-week course prior to her coming home to me. The class was called the AKC Star Puppy Training Course . During this time, I joined my trainer, my Breeder and my pup Lola. up in the Cleveland Ohio area.
I strongly wanted to build on this training baseline when I brought her home. I found Bill Juenger, owner of the Sit Means Sit in Lewis Center, Ohio. My experience with Bill continues to surpass any expectations that I could have imagined! Lola is an amazing 6 month old pup!! Bill made an assessment/inventory of my expectations for Lola’s behavior and paid attention to further goals that I have for her (like therapy training certification). Lola spent 24 hours/day with Bill for a 16 day period while I was away. Upon my return Bill demonstrated what she learned and her performance brought tears to my eyes. Then Bill proceeded to teach me how to engage Lola and provide her with experiences to become proficient in her obedience.
With continued repetitive practice at my home, Lola, my husband and I are having fun and becoming a united team!
Bill has given me all the encouragement, support and …. Necessary to become competent in handling Lola during most instances where some undesirable behaviors arise (counter surfing).
Bill has provided us with the tools to become confident and proficient to continue Lola’s ability to learn desirable behaviors (yard borders, not jumping on people, placing when guests arrive, proper walking skills amongst distractions). At the end of a session,
Bill encourages me to call with any needs that we may have in our journey/quest to an obedient, fun, and loving dog!
I highly recommend Bill Juenger to train any dog with any problem you may be experiencing! He is truly an excellent trainer!!
He really listens and “away you go!”

Valerie helped save my puppy! I spent thousands of dollars on multiple other trainers, and wish I had just started with her. Valerie helped change my Odin's aggresive behavior and resource guarding. I feel like I finally have my dog back thanks to her! She's so incredibly kind and supportive. Her methods are research based and truly work. I can't recommend her enough if you're having behavioral problems with your dog.

Update: truck 1 is the best! This is the best taco truck I've had in Columbus! Their carne asada is cooked well where it's tender, you get some chewy and crunchy bits of tendon, and moist. The Al pastor is juicy, fatty, and you also get bits of crispy pieces too. The corn tortillas are bigger than the typical street tacos and they will load it up with your choice of meat! I also like they use red onion instead of the typical white onion.

I come from california where tacos are the best. This is the closest I've come to California tacos and my god, I wish I had all the money in the world because I would just travel to their truck every day for dinner.

Oh and their churros! They are the bigger churros. Like think the Costco ones but a little shorter. The thickness of the churros are great, with I think cream cheese or something inside. The crunch is on point even the day after. It's dusted with plenty of cinnamon and sugar.

Roman and Patrice (I think is her name) are so sweet and such hard workers. You can tell they put their souls into their cooking.

Next up, I'll have to try their nachos and burritos!

I genuinely enjoy the atmosphere here! However, the staff’s friendliness has become a bit overbearing. One day, I didn’t order anything and was waiting to place an order later. The staff approached me and asked, “Can I help you?” When I thanked her, she replied, “But you should purchase.” I said, “Okay, I’ll buy it in half an hour,” but she insisted, “No, you should purchase now!” I completely understand her concern, but at least she could have smiled or explained the situation to me.

Mordisco has the best arepas in columbus!! I’ve had almost everything on the menu and this place nails breakfast and lunch. whether you want an egg sandwich or wanting something for lunch mordisco has got you covered!! The staff is friendly and the outdoor patio is awesome! this is a must try!
