Hollywood Feed
2863 N High St, ColumbusWe are regular customers at the Clintonville Hollywood Feed and, while all of the associates are very friendly and helpful, we wanted to give a special shout-out to Winnie. Our cat (unfortunately) has been diagnosed with cancer recently and we had a scary moment where he was no longer interested in food. We asked a representative at our local Hollywood Feed if they had any suggestions for food for cats with nausea and Winnie was super helpful with suggestions. She mentioned she had cats that were fussy eaters too and suggested that we try some of the Acana pates. Our cat loved them and started eating again so we are very grateful to Winnie for helping extend our time with our little gentleman--thank you Winnie!

PetSmart
3713 Easton Market, ColumbusVery large pet store. I do not usually shop at PetSmart as they do not carry the dog food I feed my dogs but I needed guinea pig supplies so I popped in. Found the store to be exceptionally stocked and organized Roght at the entrance is a dog grooming area where you drop your dog (with appt) for a spa day. Then there was a hall from that that led to Banfield Vet which is also inside Pet Smart. As I walked to the guinea pig area I noticed it isnright next to an doggie daycare and boarding area (also part of Petsmart. I grabbed the bedding and food, decided to grab some treats for the dogs and made my way to the register. On the way I met a dog trainer training a pup for canine companions. (Dogs are encouraged to come into the store!) At the counter I found out that I had an old membership to their rewards program and it took 3 bucks off my total. Wasnt arguing about that nice surprise. All in all... great trip in. Wish they carried zignature dog food or Id be in much more often!

1117 W 1st Ave, ColumbusRecently switched over to Health and Harmony as my vet and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the care. I have pet health anxiety and Dr West went above and beyond to treat my dog and ease my mind. I’ve spent 5 years trialing different vets and I am so happy I finally found the one! I’ve never been to a vet so concerned with the animal’s experience and comfort - the lick mat was so nice to calm my Rosie’s mind. The ladies are so kind, from the front desk, to the vet tech, to the doctors. Phenomenal people.

3999 Alum Creek Dr, ColumbusMy baby Brutus tore his all and at 130 pounds, that's a really big deal. The vet was great she didn't rush to do surgery or try to drain my wallet. She called a couple of days later to check on him. He is getting better hopefully with a knee brace he won't need surgery..

Glencoe Animal Hospital
3712 N High St, Columbus10 Star!!!! , I'll explain why ......In Michigan my dog developed skin cancer 6 months after being misdiagnosed with pancreatic cancer when she really only had food allergies and stomach ulcers. I started driving down to Columbus for her vet care And it was Dr. Gibbson who figured out what was really going on with my dog's blood sugar and found the skin cancer. In addition Dr. Gibson is a very progressive vet and is on top of new treatments. She sent the skin cancer tumor to a pharmacy who turned it into a vaccine and gave it back to my dog making her immune to that particular type of cancer. As you can imagine the whole year was an emotional rollercoaster trying to figure out what my dog needed and preparing for the possibility of her death multiple times. While trying to figure out how bad the skin cancer had spread and if putting her through all the tests and treatments would add quality to her life Dr. Gibson was very compassionate and answered my questions with patience and a lot of consideration and informed me of my options without judgement or pressure. Throughout this process there were a few questions she would tell me that she didn't currently know the answer and that she would make calls and get right back to me with more information which I valued so much. Dr. Gibson took the time to sort through the details and help me figure out what my dog truly needed for quality of life even down to her diet. My dog is 12 years old and is now cancer free and thriving with so much playful energy that people think she's only 3.

Top Dog Daycare & Boarding
1965 Hard Rd, ColumbusWe love Top Dog! Last summer, our pup got injured in a car accident and couldn't attend daycare for 3 months while he was healing. Throughout that time, the team emailed and checked in on him often and even donated to a fundraiser to help pay for some of his surgery. That was a tough time and it meant the world that they cared so much about him and our family. He's back at daycare now and living his best life. The only downside is that our boy never wants to leave! :) Thank you, Top Dog!

Metro City Doggie
717 Oakland Park Ave, ColumbusI wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else. Dee is truly the best- she loves all the dogs so much, and is genuinely an amazing person with a heart of gold. I worry about my dogs if I’m at work and they are at home, I worry about them if they are doing something with my husband and I’m not there to oversee everything, but Metro City Doggie is one of two places (either with my mom back near Dayton, OH, or at Metro City Doggie) that I know the dogs are being looked after and loved, and I don’t even have to think about it or worry at all.

Three Bites Bakery
999 Mt Vernon Ave, ColumbusWe’ve been going to Isa for a while, so when we started planning our wedding, she was honestly our first and only choice. Yes, her pastries are out of this world and I could wax poetic on them - specifically the sweet potato one, look if you know you know - but this review is for the absolute masterpiece of a wedding cake that she put together for us. Because we’re long standing customers, we actually ended up doing both the spring/summer and the fall/winter tasting boxes. There is no wrong answer here, every single cake she makes is delicious, but we ended up going with the pretty traditional almond raspberry with the raspberry jam. It’s sweet, it’s decadent, and it was a huge hit with our guests. And god, just look at it! So beautiful! 100% worth it, choose Isa and Three Bites for all your pastry and cake needs!

Every bite was tasty, not bland like other places in Ohio, you can actually taste the spices. This is Authentic Tijauana style red Birria tacos like you see with food bloggers on IG. 2420 Advanced Business Center Drive, ColumbusMy 9 year old Rottweiler Brystol was suffering and after finally making the hard decision to euthanize her, Furever Friends answered the phone at 9PM on a Friday night to discuss our options. She was euthanized at 10am the next day and at 11am they arrived at my home to pick up her body. They were so gentile and caring and compassionate. After she left, I called and made a special request for a nose and paw print. They made sure it was completed before the cremation. A few days later they personally delivered her back to us with EXTRA prints and it was all so perfect and beautiful. Animals are accepted based on space and their adoption criteria. They have a 95% adoption rate as well. The staff and volunteers are amazing. From adoption counselors to the foster program lead to the hundreds of volunteers that donate their time this organization is one of the few I support financially and with my time. We also foster cats and kittens with CHA and have been very impressed with their approach. In my opinion CHA is one of the best, if not the best, animal shelter in Central Ohio. Consider a visit to the shelter if you are looking for the 1st or next pet to welcome to your family.
