Best Friends Veterinary Hospital
275 West Olentangy Street, PowellI helped my friend, who has a brain injury so can't drive and has trouble communicating, bring her two cats to see Dr. Kyle at Best Friends today for their annual visit. I am a veterinarian myself but work out of state at a university so can't provide care for her pets myself. Dr. Kyle was so lovely - he was extremely patient, communicated very clearly, and spent a lot of time with us. He provided a spectrum of options for treatments without judgement. Even when she was got very upset that he wasn't her usual veterinarian at the beginning of the visit, he didn't bat an eye and was very kind and understanding. By the end of the visit, she told me that she would like to bring her kitties to see him again next year! His technician and he were great at handling the nervous kitties and were able to do the whole visit with minimal stress. The pricing was reasonable.

What sets him apart is not only his medical expertise, but the genuine love and care he has for his patients. He treated Rosie like she was his own, taking the time to think about not just the immediate issue, but her future health and quality of life. His compassion, honesty, and dedication gave us tremendous peace of mind during a stressful time.
Rosie is lucky to have Dr. Gerard in her corner, and so are we.

They’ve practically revived my dog multiple times. Doctors are attentive and do not make the appointments feel rushed. Techs know how to handle animals with anxiety or bad temperaments.

There is always an interesting food truck ready to serve (I do make a trip for the Lobster Roll guys!). For those tagging along that don't drink beer, Ill Mannered has a nice selection of wine and higher end alcohol for drinking straight or for a cocktail.

So it has a drive-thru which is convenient but it's definitely a cozy little place and has some seats out on a patio. In case you don't feel like zipping in and out. They have quite a few really interesting combinations of lattes listed on their wall. However, they're more than willing to make any adjustments that you need! I'll definitely be back. They have some of the most gorgeous looking biscotti I've ever seen. I just unfortunately went there after I'd left the bakery so I did not need any more sweets!

Cozy Cat Cottage Adoption Center

The CCC had us bring her in to meet with their vets the same day, gave her excellent care, and sent her home with medications free of charge to us. Their staff is responsive, kind, and on top of it. Truly can't recommend them enough!
