“Come to this store! The name - adorable . The owner - honest, fun and awesome. We met at a wedding, talked - I went there and have been back several times from just a plain black T - a gorgeous orange shirt that I get comments on consistently, and last time a pair of funky pants. I wear these items continuously. Have to still look closer at the local jewelry. Missed out on a lime green I should have bought! Enjoy looking with a NO PRESSURE to buy attitude! :)”

“My son and I came in on a whim while visiting from Vancouver. My son was born with a problem with his left foot…after I tried on a beautiful pair of sandals, my son tried a pair of boots. For the first time in his life, he had a pair of shoes that fit. For the first time in his life, after years of trying various custom insoles or shoes or modifications, my son felt what it was like to walk evenly. I cannot say enough positive things about John’s boutique and his attention to detail and his customers. We are grateful.”

“This is my favourite store in Ottawa.
The good:
Staff is very professional and more than accommodating!
The product they sell are unique and unlike any other.
Speed of delivery.
Patience with shoppers who want to try on lots of different styles.
The meh:
The floor is rough hewn planks with paint over them. Hard to keep clean.
The store is very small (but cozy) lighting could be a bit better.
It is in junkie central. Ottawa Byward market seems to be overrun with junkies and zombies as of 2024. I returned to my car and some chick was lighting a bloody crack pipe next to it.
This is not the store's fault but it is a negative factor to the neighbourhood it's in.
There is no washroom for the staff, they need to go across the road to use the over-used public washrooms.
Other than that, I would not hesitate to visit the store and despite the zombies, I personally haven't been hassled in the market area.”

When I walked in, I saw that the store had a huge selections of footwear, with lots of items on sale. The store is organized in a way that makes it really easy to find what you are looking for. The lady helping us was super friendly and knowledgeable.”
