“I went to just check out the store to plan my next purchase of soccer boots. I got excellent service from Howard who knew exactly which boot was a for me. They carry Nike, Adidas, and Puma from what I recall. They also had socks, shin guards and supports. They also had a large collection of team and country shirts, merchandise and a good variety of quality balls. If you're in the market for anything soccer, go give them a visit!”

“I went here, January 28th at 2030 to get a new winter parka for my winter hiking on clearance. After looking around, I approached one of the staff members to ask about where this coat would be located in the store.

This woman clerk, Alexis, was able to help me look through the coats immediately and figured out that the last stock of the coat was actually located in the back. She was able to radio someone to get the coat for me out of storage and they brought it to me relatively quick.

The gentleman who brought me the coat was making small talk about the coat after I had tried it on. He was asking me about what I liked about it. What about this coat drew me to it. I had told him i had been looking at this coat for 2 years and finally decided to buy it because it was on clearance and is probably being discontinued as well as the features that made me decide on it. He was very polite and kind (even if he wasn’t truly interested LOL, he didn’t show that). After our conversations about the coat, he said that because this coat had been in the back for so long, was the last one and because it was already on clearance that he would be able to add a slight increase to the sale price but it would have to be final sale.

I got a high quality down winter parka (400$ regularly) that i had been screenshotting for years for SUCH a reasonable price due to this general managers kindness. I was already going to buy the coat but in this economy, any extra savings is a godsend. I wasn’t able to get his name but i not only appreciated the kindness of an added discount but the fact that he was trying to be kind and engage in small talk about a woman’s coat (not in a creepy way, but in a genuine kind way). 10/10 customer service.
Will speak highly of this location and their proper customer service. I also left a formal review from the receipt email. I hope both he and the female clerk get kudos from upper management for providing excellent customer service (something we unfortunately don’t get to see often anymore).”

“I drive 2 hours just to come to this specific store! This place is always riddled with deals! Last two visits they had a 50% off entire store.. not select items but ENTIRE store! I always end up spending more than anticipated as I just keep throwing more in the bag! This last trip I got 3 pairs of pants, 2 pairs of shorts and a sleeveless top for all under $300 tax included. “If I could give more stars, I certainly would. I was looking to get a warranty claim going on a Rocky Mountain Blizzard. The retailer I purchased from left me hanging for almost a year, claiming he was waiting on a response. After contacting Rocky myself, I found there wasn't a claim opened at all.
I contacted Thorntons and they were more than happy to open a claim on my behalf even though I purchased the bike elsewhere. I stopped in on a Saturday, we did some troubleshooting to confirm the issue, the claim was opened the following Monday, and I had a completely new frame by the weekend. Couldn't be happier.”

“I really do like this store. I’ve gotten some great deals, and even found many items available on the regular website for a margin of the price. I have one recommendation however…. After having experienced Black Friday and Boxing Day here, I beg of you to have an employee outside doing crowd control. I have been the first 10 people in line both times this past year, with Boxing Day being the worst for people cutting in. When we first got there, my sister and I would have been the first 5 people (they give something to the first 5-10 in line, and people know this). Immediately after getting there, a party of 4 joined the front of the line with their daughter who jumped out of the car and ran. We said nothing because they had just opened the gates. About 10 minutes before the store opened, another party of 4-5 people tried to join their family at the front of the line behind the other party, right before staff came out to hand out things to the first 5-10 people. The line had at least 30 people behind them that they tried cutting in front of. This time I said something myself. It’s truly not fair that people will stand outside for an hour and a half, and just have to let people cut in line who have been waiting for not even 2 minutes. 1 spot should save you 1 spot, not 5, and can be limited by having a staff member monitor this and say something about it. This review is not to ruin the fun for people, being that you hand a bonus out to the first few people. By all means, I think you should keep the incentive, but I really do think it needs a handle on it.”

I recently bought these Columbia waterproof winter boots, and they’ve been amazing so far. They’re warm, lightweight, and super comfortable, even after wearing them for long hours. The waterproof feature really works I’ve walked through snow and slush, and my feet stayed completely dry.

The grip on icy sidewalks is excellent, and the inside lining keeps my feet cozy during cold mornings. They also look great and go well with casual winter outfits.
