All Pets
451 Church St, TorontoI came in to the store today to pick up food for my roommates cat. I wasn't sure what I needed to get or where to find it. Thankfully, I was greeted by a very friendly staff member, Nicole, who was able to immediately bring me to the correct section and run me through my options. I found Nicole to be very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the care of animals, which gave me a lot of confidence that I had come to the right place.
I will be recommending this amazing local business to all of my friends.
Thanks again!

Leaside Pets
1542 Bayview Ave, TorontoOver the past few years I had been having to care for my sick and declining dog and this was always her favourite place to go. The staff are friendly and clearly love animals. They were always helpful and knowledgeable about finding foods that catered to my sick dogs increasingly worsening health and I believe that they were a large part of what kept her energetic and happy right up until the end. Even on her worst days I could always say "Want to go to the toystore?!" Or "Want to go see Daniel?!" and she would perk right up even when her vet medications had her down.
Thanks for being a fantastic store staffed with wonderful people!

PawsNatural Pet Store
3232 Yonge St, TorontoI took my beloved medium-hair cat in for her first groom ever and they were fantastic! She can be a bit spicy, but they did such an excellent job and she came back so fresh, clean, and shiny! She wasn't grumpy at all when she came home and was back to normal in no time!
I am so grateful for their excellent care and they really took their time to do everything I asked, including a bath, brushing, sanitary shave, and nail trim. You can definitely trust that they will treat your pet as their own, and they were so wonderful every step of the way, even reassuring me when I phoned to check in and see how she was doing.

582 Danforth Ave, TorontoMeet Hazel! She's a 3 year old Selkirk Rex who occasionally needs a haircut. In this current heatwave we decided to take her down to a Teddy Bear cut. This is Hazel's second groom with Wendy at Nimoosh and while I'm delighted with the results, Hazel rebels by sticking out her tongue. Hazel has curly hair so finding someone who knows how to trim her hair and have a cute end result is an absolute delight. I cannot recommend the team at Nimoosh enough for cat grooms. Barkingham Palace
2211 Gerrard St E, TorontoI should have written this review a while ago but figured that my better half had already given a glowing review !!! Both Kelsey & Jim deserve all the praise they get for their dedication to the Barkingham Pack … the doggies are always looking so relaxed and happy while at the day care . Zorro waits every morning to jump in the car to get to see his friends ! He definitely seems to have a lot of fun and is quite pitted when we pick him up . Kelsey takes great pains to get beautiful and action pictures of the pack, it must be a chore to do it every day but she manages to surprise us with awesome shots . Both of us and Zorro are fortunate to have found such caring individuals who truly are devoted to the pack. Thank you Kelsey and Jim for taking such great care of not just Zorro but the entire Barkingham Pack ? we are also thankful for the overnight stays for Zorro while we travel.

VCA Canada Secord Animal Hospital
3271 Yonge St, TorontoTldr: more expensive than other vets but 100% worth it. Especially when they help you use cheaper preventative options
They are the absolute best. We had a wonderful boxer for 8 years and they were great to her. She loved people and had tons of energy so she'd get really excited to go to the vet each time and want to play with everyone there. They were super understanding and loved playing with her, and were still able to examine her.
She had allergies during the fall which they helped us treat, and once in a while this resulted in a hot spot, which they were also great about helping us handle.
They're more expensive than other vets but we always found this worth it. Especially for times where they would recommend much cheaper preventative treatments, like washing our dog's paws with a pretty basic soap mixture everytime she comes inside during allergy season to help prevent itching + hotspots.
They also were super responsive by phone or email, though keep in mind not open on weekends so have an emergency vet you know to deal with off hours emergencies.
In the end when our dog got a sadly untreatable cancer they diagnosed it really well and advised us honestly about the options. We took her in to them to put her down when the time came and they were extremely supportive and nice, with multiple people coming in to see her and say goodbye and have one last playtime. It was the best possible experience for her and us in a terrible situation that softened it a lot.
Cannot recommend enough!

Ruffin' It Dog Walking
896 Dundas St E, TorontoWriting this review was a challenge...
Insomuch as it was a struggle to balance lavishing sufficient praise upon Erin and Byron whilst avoiding sounding like a paid shill or a bot.
Erin and Byron have been walking my dog, Kyle, for over a year now, and I simply cannot recommend their services highly enough!
My dog, though a perfect angel, is also elderly, mobility-challenged, and initially quite reserved. He has been quite apathetic about other dog walkers in the past, and also endured walkers who don’t really get how to bond with and appreciate the idiosyncrasies of their charges. Upon initially meeting them, I could tell that Erin and Byron loved both dogs AND their work. And just as importantly, I could tell that Kyle felt this as well.
Throughout the many months they have been walking him, they have proven this to be the case again and again, and have graciously and thoughtfully accommodated both Kyle and myself to ensure that our needs are being met.
From slotting Kyle into a group that (while unconventional based on dog sizing) was the right “vibe” for him based on his pace, hauling around my obtrusive stair set to ensure he could get into the car comfortably, dropping him off last when possible because he loves car rides, and taking him for little rests and treats sometimes when the temperatures are high, he is ALWAYS thrilled to see them both and is happy and tired when he gets home from their adventures.
Moreover, they have allowed me to change my walk schedule weekly to match my erratic shiftwork schedule, always communicate the important events of the walk (i.e. the poops and cute pictures), keep me up to date with the drop off times each walk, and have always shared any concerns or thoughts they have about any changes to his function/mobility that they are picking up on. Even my neighbours have commented to me, unprompted, how kind my dog walkers are and how much they seem to love Kyle.
Which is, at the end of the day, what I appreciate the most about them, why I trust them with my dog’s life and happiness, and why I unreservedly recommend them to you: They love my dog, and they treat him accordingly.
I am certain they will love yours too.
Kirsten
