“Such a well curated and handsome little shop! I bought a gorgeous gaucho hat that I easily found in my size, and every sales associate we spoke with was impeccably dressed and incredibly helpful. I’m excited to stop by again soon! :)”
“When I tried on my order I had a few pieces that didn't fit but Bailey was super helpful in getting everything fixed. She even suggested alternative pieces that fit me better and were better aligned for the event I was going for. I'm super grateful for her help and experience.”
“Exactly as it says - master tailor. I had the sleeves of a new sport coat shortened by another tailor who did a poor job, leaving the buttons too close to the edge - a way to ruin the look of an expensive sport coat.
I found Silvian at European Master Tailor, and he redid the sleeves perfectly. It was 100% worth the cost. His expertise and attention to detail are hard to find, and I highly recommend him.”
“I’ve been shopping at sellwood union for about 4 years now. My entire closet is from this shop!! They have the coolest staff, and many different sections with different curated vibes (I’ve found my favorite sellers and sections over the years). Everyone asks me where I get my clothes from and it’s here ;) (+ ton of good eats nearby)”
“This place has great vibes, great prices, and great inventory. The rooms just kept appearing and we spent over an hour just perusing!! Plus they have a little bookshelf with some bangers, a selection of funny repurposed trophies, and art! This place really has it all. You’ll regret not going here if you’re a thrifter, and even if you’re not! 5/5 stars.”
“The Cotopaxi store front in PDX has blown my expectations away when it comes to customer service. I have always felt welcome, and the help I need. I switched over to just purchasing Cotopaxi for hiking gear for the great products/color design, but more so the employees working at the PDX shop. I highly recommend && hope the head of company sees their hard work building long term customers.”
“I didn’t buy anything from there but my husband and I were lost. They pulled up a map and helped us by telling us exactly where to go. They let my husband use the bathroom and even noticed our bag with leftovers was leaking and ripping. They offered us a bag. Even though I wasn’t a customer I can tell how amazing their customer service is. Thank you so much for helping us.”
“I had one of the best shopping experiences here greeted by Michael. Found a nice pair of sunglasses and being offered great hospitality. Store is clean and has good selection of clothing. Would recommend a visit!”
“Visited PDX years ago and love supporting small businesses—this place stood out. The ground floor has a well-organized selection of underwear and swimwear that’s easy to browse, while the upstairs offers a more adventurous vibe. If you’re shopping for men’s underwear, this is a solid place to start. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but worth it for the quality and selection.”
“Do you want to make a statement with your brand? Trust Urban Kingdom. They will level up your wear and gear. Thank you for all the great work during the past two years with He Walks Dogs.”

“I could tell the owner has a true passion in sneaker culture. Stopped by the store and the collection is crazy, tons of PEs, reminds me of the good old days. Chatted with the owner and he was super chill. Willing to let you hold any shoes in hand. Will stop by again!”
“Danny, Angie and the manager, Shawn have been so great helping me get the right fit for my suits! All my coworkers go to them and I’m excited to order from them as well!”
“Portland Outdoor Store, a venerable fixture in Portland, Oregon, celebrated its 100-year anniversary in 2019 with a series of memorable events and community gatherings. Established in 1919, the store has witnessed and adapted to a century of change, from the early 20th century’s burgeoning outdoor recreation scene to today’s expansive range of adventure sports. For its centennial, the store hosted a week-long festival featuring local bands, outdoor gear exhibitions, and talks by renowned adventurers. The celebrations were not just about looking back but also about promoting the future of outdoor exploration, with proceeds supporting local environmental initiatives.
When Portland Outdoor Store first opened its doors, the city was experiencing a cultural renaissance, with the Portland Rose Festival gaining prominence and the city's thriving arts scene making waves. The store’s opening coincided with an era of increased interest in the Pacific Northwest’s natural beauty, fueling a growing community of outdoor enthusiasts.
The store’s longevity and adaptation over the decades highlight its role in fostering Portland’s outdoor culture. Its 100-year celebration not only honored its past but also reinforced its commitment to encouraging future generations to explore and enjoy the great outdoors.”
“Noah,Kai and the crew were very helpful and accommodating for me, given the rush and amount of Customers at the store they were very patient and polite I appriciate that a ton!”
“Experience the comfortable feeling and expression of the moment I stepped into the store. Greeted by Jerilyn and her co workers. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Shout out to them. 🤙🥰”
“10/10 they will match your energy and get you into the best kicks of you life. Walk in barefoot, find Sunny, give Van's some cheddar, walk out on top of the world. #kickfliplifeintheface seriously good place to get shoes n stuff.”
“This was my first time getting a custom tailored item, and they walked me through the process very carefully. The results were excellent, very high quality fabric and fit and finish.”
“I've ordered from Kiriko many times and have always been impressed by the quality of their products and outstanding customer service. A wonderful company to support, you won't be disappointed.”
“On a recent visit to Portland, I stopped by the store. The employees we the best! I had a great time talking to LC, he was so kind!!!! The young lady upstairs was also very sweet! I'm so grateful for this experience! I wish you all an abundance of success!!!”
“I absolutely loved this store and all the cool unique things they had! Lauren was an absolute gem very sweet and welcoming and informative of cool places to visit and eat at. Will definitely return next time I visit Portland!!”
“Excellent service, clean and well organized. Staff (I only remember one name so I'll say staff to be fair) was very helpful and knowledgeable. Both gals were a little surprised when I suggested to try on men's jackets because nothing in women's was what I needed, both were very helpful and knowledgeable. We found the perfect jacket and a return customer. Thank you!!”
“I love being a member here. You can trade in your wardrobe regularly. Some of my favorite clothing items are from here. I also get cute hand bags and accessories here, as well as fun household items.
Bag sales are open to the public and a great way to check it out before joining. You can pay monthly ongoing or jut pay the month's you want to shop.”
“We cannot say enough great things about Dutchess! They helped my partner Lanie pick out and design her dream wedding suit. Lanie had never worn a suit before but wanted to feel amazing on our wedding day. They were welcoming and inclusive from the very first phone call. Thank you again!! <3”
“I love the Muji store in Portland! They have such great products all around, but my favorite go-tos are definitely the pens, pencils, and stationery — the quality is always so good. There’s also a robot coffee-making machine in the store, which is super fun to see (I spotted one in the Vancouver location too!). Always a great place to browse and pick up a few essentials.”
“I love the clothing at Tommy Bahama. My wait person simultaneously and very professionally handled a number of customers. She made sure that I had what I needed and wanted. She ordered pants I wanted, since the store did not have my size.”
“I love this place. Really cheap clothes. Owner/boss man is really good at his job. Spotted a T shirt I was going to buy was accidentally overpriced. Marked it down to 6 bucks. Not bad for a 100 percent cotton shirt. 2 dollar shoelaces. Nice ball caps. Dickies. Vans. I'll keep coming back when I need affordable essentials.”
“Long-standing Portland staple! My absolute go to for tights, fun sunglasses and kitsch! Staff is always very sweet and helpful! Plus the window display is always amazing!”
