He was able to get me up to speed after fifteen years away from the hobby. He and all the crew there are knowledgeable about what can benefit your system. As I brought my system online I had a green hair algae bloom that was out of control. Pete pointed me to the hungriest of critters to help me control the bloom. I always know I'm getting the best answers when I shop here!

Our sweet pup loves to play and talk and people who don't know dogs well can be concerned by her. This is the first time I have seen our pup play with people other than my husband and I. It was absolutely refreshing to know in a crazy busy place like Portland that there are wonderful and kind individuals who do an amazing job at connecting with their customers. The jumping, the whining, the bathroom covered in soap and water and all the dirty stinky towels that would accumulate on my bathroom floor, became a distant memory when I met Julie. She brought us to a tub, showed us how everything worked and gave us tips on calming Lucifer's anxiety. And for the first time, we enjoyed giving him a bath. I never knew I would LOVE a self serve grooming business this much and we are so grateful for Julie. We will definitely return.

1755 SW Madison St, PortlandOne of the best, most responsive vets imaginable. Easy to make an appointment, online or by phone, and as a way to nurture the relationship, said we could stop by any time for a treat for our pooch.
Dr. Castle was extremely helpful in getting to our Molly's problems, providing meds and suggesting things for us to do to help our dog stay healthy. Vet assistant and reception were wonderful as well, having obvious connection to animals.
An unqualified five stars for anyone looking for a vet.

There was a time after moving to the west side that we went to other places, but never felt we got the same level of care that Rose City gave him. So, we started making the drive back to the east side, and so glad we did.
All the way to assessing his Quality of Life at the end, they treated him and us with dignity, the utmost care, and best intentions for his well-being. Special thank you to Drea, Dr. Beswick, and Hattie for the years of care, and to Dr. Taylor for walking us through his final stage; giving us the time to be with him and take him back home.

The consult at BluePearl Pet Surgery was the first time any professional provided a concrete and clear explanation of what was happening and what the best course of action moving forward should be. They were also the first of eleven surgical/oncology offices to actually return my call, which was very appreciated given the aggressive nature of the cancer. Their quick turn around directly contributed to much more quality time with my pup. I was also truly impressed with Dr. Cioffi and her team. Dr. Bukowski is wonderful and took such good care of our baby. examinations were done thoroughly and she talked us through all of her thoughts and gave us some great information and options for treatment. super transparent on pricing as well which is so appreciated. we will be coming here forever! I cant recall our technicians name but she had dark hair with blonde streaks and was amazing to us and our kitty!

The owner is very knowledgeable about dog behavior and care and always communicates how our dog was during his time there (unlike some other daycares in which you're expected to pay extra for any information about their day, which is a little much and feels very impersonal). He gives helpful suggestions as well which is a great indicator that he not only knows and understands our dog but actually cares about his wellbeing. Additionally, our dog has some medical issues that the owners have dealt with in stride and we are truly so appreciative of them for it. I highly recommend this business as you can really trust that your dog is in good hands!

It was difficult to find a good location, fair pricing and someone trustworthy to take care of our pup when we were out of town. Finally we came across Holly’s website and were immediately intrigued. We reached out and Holly was so responsive and caring. We got a meet and greet scheduled right away and it went amazing. Holly and her family are so welcoming and easy to communicate with. It has been such a relief to have found Holly and now we always know we have a reliable plan for where our dog will stay when we need help with her. Our favorite part is the daily photo updates we get from Holly when she is watching our dog ♥️ thank you, Holly!

4421 NE 79th Ave, PortlandDoug was recommended to me by a trainer I have been using for twenty plus years. My service dog was missing his siblings after their death and had become dog reactive. Doug walked with me to observe what was going on in my neighborhood. He gave me a procedure to follow and in no time my goldendoodle was ignoring other dogs. Once that was perfected around our complex we went to a nearby park and he walked with me to practice on unruly dogs. Gibbs was taking their ill behavior as an opportunity to play. I am in a wheelchair and he adjusted for my disability. He is a very pleasant person to learn from and we both enjoyed our training sessions. My service dog is an important part of my independence and Dougs' extensive knowledge of dog behavior gave us a tune up on how to handle this one issue as well as general helpful hints on everyday life with a 90lb dog.

We have two dogs with really different needs. For overnight sitting, it's been hard to find someone that we can trust given that one of our dogs is not only reactive but has quite a few health issues. I know that he's in great hands with Clara—we can't even say Clara around the house without them running to the door and getting excited. Our dogs trust her and love her, it's hard not to get jealous! She's incredibly patient and you can tell that she really loves spending time with them and it's mutual.
Mindy has been absolutely amazing with our other pup who goes out on adventures. It can take a minute for her to warm up to new people but she waits at the door every Monday for her pick up—so excited to spend the day with her friends. She does a great job of bringing her out of her shell, encouraging play and working on her other skills.
We have full trust in DANW team of trainers, knowing that they promote force-free and positive reinforcement training and treat our dogs like their own. I wish we could give them 10 stars.

Me and my friend turned partner essentially had our first date here, and it has become so sentimental to the both of us.
The food and drinks are always phenomenal, the red lit ambiance and Gothic tunes playing are comforting, and Sierra has always made us feel welcome and often stops to have a chat.

SE 182nd Ave, PortlandI had the best experience getting my new hedgie baby! Niki is very knowledgeable and kind, always ready to answer questions when we had them. You can tell she really works with bonding for the hedgehogs too. Millie was more bonded to Niki in the short time she raised her than I am even right now, as of May 8, 2024.. I named my hedgehog Millie, and she is just the sweetest little girl. I didn’t purchase the supplies for Millie through Niki, but she still made sure I had everything. Thank you Niki for a smooth and easy experience purchasing my hedgie! I just adore my little Millie!

A new.non profit called Array animal.Rescue is operating in the area and they almost just lost my furbaby....
They claim to help people facing homelessness but should not be trusted with a rock, let alone an animal.
Do not work with them.
Do not trust them.
Here is what happened...
They picked her up at 9 a.m. today.
By 8/9 p.m. they had lost her.
The foster, Phoebe, didn't make sure her yard was secure and she didn't bother to use a leash even though Maggue was stated as being "very upset and confused of where she was"
Her water and food bowls had not been used.
Had I not gone to look for her she wouldn't have been found for the person looking for her had a known to be aggressive pitbull mix who I am told previously attacked a rescue puppy off leash trying to look for her.
If you are struggling do not trust Array Pet Rescue. They don't have basic common sense and will lose your dog. I reported them to the Oregon DOJ. And I will tell every animal rescue and houseless help facility within 100 miles of portland.
