I honestly almost burst into tears when I saw my puppy after his groom, that’s how good he looked. Mrs. Christine did an incredible job. The cut was perfect, clean, and exactly what he needed, and the price was very reasonable (especially compared to other salons I’ve tried).
What really stood out to me was how comfortable she made me feel. She walked me through what my pup was doing the entire time, explained the process, and was so kind and reassuring. The appointment was also quick without feeling rushed, which I really appreciated.
This was hands-down a better experience than the other grooming salon I had been taking him to. You can tell Mrs. Christine truly cares about the dogs she works with and takes pride in her work.
I’m so grateful I found Primp Your Pup. We will definitely be coming back. Highly, highly recommend!

I can tell by his anxiety getting better that they take care of their furry clientele. The staff has always been nice and easy to communicate with as someone going to a groomer's for the first time. Very affordable as well! Be prepared for your pup to be gone a few hours but they'll come out looking great! 10/10

The veterinarians take time to listen to all of my concerns and answer all of my questions. I have been taking my pets here for years and would not consider going anywhere else.

3679 Ladson Rd Suite 101, LadsonGreat staff who cares. Very little turnover, so your pet sees the same vet, vet tech, and receptionist! They can be on the more expensive side, but worked well with me for care of my itchy, allergy ridden, easily hurt, cocker spaniel.
Figured out my 13-year old mutt is scared of the exam rooms, so the techs come and give his monthly arthritis shot in the lobby.

If a Farmer's Market and a Swap Meet had a baby, it would be Coastal Carolina Flea Market. Everything from fresh produce, to used goods, to crystal shops, perfumeries and you can buy a live chicken if it fancies you. If you go, do yourself a favor and grab a Raspado from the food truck vendor. For those who may not know what that is, it is basically an upgraded slushy with fresh fruit. Will definitely go back! Bring a large bag for the treasures you may find and don't be afraid to try something new.

My group really loves the ambience and decor and the setup of the dining area which really allowed for great group conversation. The menu wasn't very expansive, but everything that we ordered was fantastic. The highlight of this spot was its selection of wine, beer, and cocktails. The view of the water is quite nice as well--which complements the wonderful service we had. The only downside to this place is the time and effort it takes to get there from downtown Charleston. Overall a great experience and will definitely revisit. (Bonus--visit the Smithey Ironworks store next door to see some of the nicest American-made cookware available today.

3786 Ladson Rd Ste 201, LadsonWe recently ate at King’s Pizza, and it turned out to be one of those unexpectedly great meals that reminds you why local pizza places still matter. From the moment we sat down, the experience was welcoming, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable.
First, I have to single out our server, Ivory (I-V-O-R-Y). She was absolutely top-notch. Friendly without being overbearing, attentive without hovering, and clearly knowledgeable about the menu. She checked in at just the right times, made sure everything was correct, and had a great attitude throughout the meal. Service like that makes a difference, and Ivory nailed it.
Food-wise, this place delivered in a big way. My son ordered the Stromboli, and it was excellent — generously filled, baked perfectly, and served hot and fresh. The dough had great texture, the fillings were well-balanced, and every bite tasted like it was made with care, not rushed out of the kitchen. It was hearty, satisfying, and exactly what you hope for when you order a Stromboli.
I went with the spaghetti and meatballs, and it was fantastic. The pasta was cooked just right, the sauce was rich and flavorful without being heavy, and the meatballs were tender, well-seasoned, and clearly homemade or very close to it. This wasn’t a skimpy plate either — it was a solid portion that felt like real value for the dollar. Comfort food done right.
Speaking of value, that’s one of the biggest takeaways here. The portions were generous, the prices were fair, and the quality easily justified every dollar spent. You leave feeling satisfied, not nickel-and-dimed or wishing you’d ordered something else.
The atmosphere was comfortable and clean, with a laid-back vibe that works whether you’re dining with family or just grabbing a good meal. Overall, King’s Pizza delivered great food, excellent service, and outstanding value. With servers like Ivory and meals this solid, it’s absolutely a place we’ll return to.
