Paco's been going here since he was 6 months old for boarding, grooming,and day-care he will be 4 yrs old next week and this is his go to place. They went beyond just being clinically professional — they were genuinely kind, patient, and understanding throughout the entire visit.
Even with our dog being scratchy and volatile, everyone remained calm, reassuring, and supportive. As an owner, that made a huge difference. I never felt judged or rushed; instead, I felt like they truly understood the situation and cared about both my dog’s well-being and my comfort as an owner.
Dr. Thomas took the time to talk through a thoughtful plan to help Winnie feel more comfortable in the office going forward, which I really appreciated. It was clear this wasn’t just about getting through the appointment, but about building a better experience for future visits.
I’m very grateful for the care, patience, and professionalism shown today. Highly recommend Dr. Thomas and her team.

When my cat was dealing with issues that weren't clear at first, Dr. Bonavita took time out of her day to call and check up on our cats, get any extra information, and answer our questions after our appointment was over. Harding even called us the next day to check in. Love this place!

I was early, but they had a room ready for me and my kitty Alley. Lindsey (Vet Tech) came in and asked all the right questions and you could see the love she had for animals was genuine.
After Lindsey documented everything
Dr. Wes came in and performed a comprehensive evaluation from head to toe of Alley. He was friendly, kind and most knowledgeable. He has extensive experience with cats which is very important.
He took his time with Alley and she felt very comfy with him.
He was well versed regarding Alley’s past history (diabetic, remission 3 years and diabetic again) as their intake form offers them valuable information regarding your pets and their needs.
We discussed management of Alley’s condition and his recommendations, and we left happy and most satisfied with Dr. Wes and his entire staff.
The next day, I received an email (Clinical Summary) from Dr. Wes documenting our visit and everything that was discussed and how we would proceed in the future.
The office runs like a well oiled machine, and I’m thrilled to have found them! I look forward to a long and happy relationship with the WesVet Community!

My favorite thing about this veterinary practice, and specifically Dr. McElyea, is how much they educate pet owners. When we got our second cat, they took the time to give us tips on introducing our cats and decreasing aggression. Most recently, Dr, McElyea took the time to brainstorm and share tips of how to help my cat with weight loss. She even calculated the calories per day my cat should be eating and came up with a target weight. I really appreciate the time and effort that the vets put into our cats care. I’d recommend them to anyone in the Nashville area!

Well, to our surprise on day one we realized that would be a big task. She would not listen, ate remotes, furniture, prescription glasses, cabinets, trash you name it she ate it. Was with sadness that we considering returning her, as it was just too much.
Then our sign came, we were out to dinner and on a truck, in the parking lot there was Alpha k9 Training. I ran out and stopped them, they probably thought I was crazy. But I needed to talk to them about Blu, and they were absolutely wonderful, and I could tell they loved what they do in training dogs, well by that Sunday Blu was in training for a month. I cannot express into words the changes they were able to do with her, they also trained us in how to continue what they taught Blu. She is a completely different dog, well behaved, listens to commands, doesn't eat what she should not. It was a prayer answered. We highly recommend Randy and Lauren if your dog needs training!

Booking through the app is super easy, and I love how smooth the whole process is. We’ve tried other boarding options in the area, even more expensive ones, but nothing has come close to the care and attention he gets here. He’s always so excited to go, which tells me everything I need to know.
One thing that’s really important to us is safety, and I appreciate how seriously Camp Bow Wow takes vaccinations. We know our pup is in a safe, healthy environment surrounded by people who truly care.
We’re so grateful for Camp Bow Wow Nashville—it’s the only place we trust with our dog!

The Dog Wizard

I really can’t say enough good things about Tate and endorse the other reviewers thoughts about his deep knowledge and clear communication style with both Juneau and more importantly me! Juneau is 118 lbs at 11 months and had gotten very full of himself prior to training. He’s returned home much calmer and has quickly made the transition from respecting Tate to respecting me. Juneau needed the e collar training in week two in order to more fully engage in higher level of work. He’s responding at the lowest level of stimulation when need be but for most part I’ve not even needed it. Recall, going to his ‘place’ and responding to OFF when engaging in troublesome is happening with praise and his kibble as a reward. My hope is for Juneau to become a therapy dog. I think with Tates help he’s on his way!

I called Green Hills Kennel because I was in the area but didn’t know where to take my dog for some grass time. The lady I spoke to was super sweet and directed me to the library less than a mile away. This was a life saver. I was able to walk my dog and let her out of the car for a few minutes. This review is not reflective of any actual kennel experience, but I feel like a place with excellent customer service for a non-patron is indicative of what you would experience as a paying customer. Street Injera Authentic East African Cuisine
614 18th Avenue N, NashvilleI was in the mood for some Ethiopian food (one of my favorite cuisines) and came across Street Injera, which serves East African cuisine. I assume that they’re Eritrean (Habesha cousins of Ethiopians) because the names of my favorite dishes seem to be a different language from their Ethiopian counterparts’ Amharic. But the flavor was never lost in translation!
I ordered Combo # 3 for $18.99. It comes with your choice of 4 vegetables (out of 5 preselected options) and one salad (out of three preselected choices). The side choices are quinoa, injera, or white rice. I confirmed with them that they use teff, meaning the injera is gluten free. They also offer 3 spice levels: regular, spicy, and extra spicy.
I love all five vegetable options so it was hard to decide. I ended up choosing the Red Lentils, Yellow Lentils, Tikil Gomen (the cabbage dish), and Collard Greens. Everything was excellent! 10/10! (Everything I ordered was vegan and gluten free.)
I ordered spicy because I love spicy food. But let me tell you… I was not prepared for the authentic African spices they hit me with. My bad! I will never underestimate them again. I had to literally sit the injera on my tongue first, then put the food in my mouth in order to finish my meal. LOL Next time I’ll be a good little American and order it the normal way. I’ll try their fosolia (green beans and carrots) next time. The Shiro also looks good, but it’s only available as a full entree.
They operate out of a food hall, so it’s take out only. I ordered online and my food was ready at the promised time. The customer service was excellent and the lady (whom I’m assuming was the owner) was very nice and helpful. I will definitely order from them again.

And the drinks were to die for. Nashville sucks for coffee culture and it was the best latte I’ve had since being here for three years.

There’s someone for everyone. We had the best time with the kittens but loved the “aggressive petters” too. You’ll get over the smell in about 5
minutes. You can tell the staff does the best they can to keep it clean and safe for the kitties.

3150 McGavock Pk, NashvilleLove it here! We've been to several dog parks around Nashville and this is the one I choose above them all. Large space, always plenty of dogs around, kept clean, water fountains during the season. There are areas that can get a bit muddy after it rains, but overall it is a beautiful area.
